Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward bowed to her, the mask having come up in time to hide her blush.
"Well then, I truly do look forward to working alongside you. And a rematch in the future?" His tone was inquisitive. His own mask was covering a slight blush as well, but thankfully he had suppressed it when he had shown her his face. He looked around and blinked. Huh. Guess one of my attacks dispersed the Proctor...whoops. Are you worthy of it?

Respect gets you a lot in this world... "Hmm? Oh, right right." He turned around and walked several paces away, to a small chunk of wall that was laying on the ground. He bent down and grabbed what looked to be thin air off to one side. WHen he brought his hand up, the henge over the staff shattered, revealing the weapon. The former Kage walked back over to her and handed her the staff with a small flourish.
"Here you are then fair maiden." He grinned. "And now, I suspect we should go back to the Kage's office to report that the match is finished. That is, if he doesn't already know." He moved over to the door and held it open for her, his head bowed slightly. Are you worthy of it? ((Aww, that's too bad lol. Now we get to go deal with Shruik again.))

A shift in the earth made the dojo tremble alittle bit then was normal once more. The only thing that was seen was a huge purple tail vanishing underground, which meant there was, in a sense, another proctor there that left to tell the good news

Ez smiled and nodded, walking out but waiting for him outside the door, after all, it would have been rude to just walk away.
"I'm sure lord kage does already know, after all it IS his job as kage, yes? we should hurry though, it's rude to make others wait." she replied with a friendly yet calm and even tone.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward shut the door behind him, smiling widely enough that the corners of his eyes crinkled.
"Indeed indeed. Well then, shall we?" He grinned before tilting his head, thinking about something. He shook it once, then eyesmiled at her. He set an even pace towards the Otokage's Tower, enjoying the walk in the beautiful young lady's presence, once again thankful that his half mask covered the slight blush. Are you worthy of it?

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward skittered into the chamber where he had fought Deza and slumped against a wall.
"Baka baka baka! She's gonna hate me now... argh!" Boss, she's not going to hate you. She seems a lot more intelligent than that. Gantoy, You remember what happened the last time I told a girl I could feel her emotions? ... Uh, you mean the girl who nearly neutered you before running away crying and never spoke to you again? Yes, that one. And that reaction is the norm, not the exception! And now, the one girl in this town who might like me, is dealing with the same knowledge! Why am I NOT supposed to hate myself right now??? Boss... The Ghost Partner trailed off worriedly. Oh I hope this doesn't turn out like that last time. Are you worthy of it?

Ez had asked others in the village if they had seen him, thankfully she still knew most, and had promised that she'd talk to them all later, but for now she had something to take care of, eventually all of the directions she had gotten had led her to believe he had gone to the dojo. she smiled politely as she passed an old friend who was leaving she stopped and talked to him for a moment, once more promising to catch up later after he confirmed the person she was looking for was there. she smiled sweetly behind her mask and walked on, she checked at least four or five other rooms before finding him in the largest one. the same one they'd fought in just moments ago. she leaned against the door frame.
"you REALLY have a way with words, you know that right?" there was a hind of amusment in the small healers voice. a small smile clearly on her hidden face. she would not make the first move, no that would be rude at this point, besides he was still upset.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward ceased banging his head against the wall when he realized that that was not Gantoy speaking to him.
"What, come to make fun of the empathic freak of a guy?" His voice, muffled once more by the mask, was heavy. Should have known that an Oto nin would be able to track me in Oto...Bosss, she's worried about you!Bullshit. If she was she wouldn't just stand there like I as some kind of prime time entertainment film. Would you listen to me for once? .....No. I'm a freak Gantoy, that's all anyone has ever seen me as. Even now she's keeping her distance, probably not wanting to get too close to me. The ghost raged silently at this. Why would the dumbass she was bonded to not admit what she could tell? He obviously wasn't trying to sense her emotions. Then Gantoy realized that the despair that Ed had fallen into was blocking out outside emotions. Well that's not good, he couldn't feel her emotions even if he did listen to me! Are you worthy of it?

"iie, why would i go an do that? not only would that be rude and inapropriate, but i think that it's kinda cool." she replied with a small shrug. she then took off her mask, this way there was no way she could hide her thoughts. "besides, you now get to suffer with me through like, twenty dinners i promised others so that i could find you, and i don't go through that kind of trouble for just anyone."
she smiled her sweetest smile and walked towards him.
"really, you don't have a reason to be upset, everyone's different, i think it's kind of cool anyways." she replied smiling kindly.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Told you. Gantoy's voice was smug. And for once, Edward was not retorting at her. He was staring at Deza in shock, his eyes wide, his breathing halted. He slowly pushed up from the wall, not taking his eyes off of her.
"Y....you think...it's cool...?" Of all the things that she could have said, that was the one Edward expected the least. He stared at her, the open, honest face, and felt the despair recede, his empathy returning with it, letting him feel that she was speaking in complete honesty.
That was when his mind registered with what she said. He grinned, unexpectedly for himself, then blinked at her.
"Herusu Deza, did you just ask me out/ shanghai me?" There was a trace of awe to his tone. Are you worthy of it?

"call it what you want, i'm not suffering alone. in my view it's more like my version of revenge. esenutally though, ya pretty much." she was compleatly calm, and a tad amused. "and if you think that was embarising for you at the shop, i can beat that. there's nothing wrong with being different after all. no two shinobi are the same, though it DOES explain how you kicked my butt. i never loose.... EVER. I'll let it slide though."
she smirked.
"just remember, you now have to suffer through like twenty dinners with me. think you can handle it?" the small healer was clearly willing to take full advantage of his current state of shock.
