Jynx the Fool God, everyone says that, and it irks the s**t out of me. It is not POISONOUS, it is VENEMOUS. Poisonous means that the toxin will kill/incapacitate you when you EAT IT. Venemous means the the toxin will kill/incapacitate you by having it INJECTED INTO YER BLOODSTREAM. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, please refer to things as they are, NOT WHAT THEY SEEM. there is no need to fly off the handle about it. so she didnt use the right termiology, so what? she may not have known the difference, not many people do and poisonous isnt just about when you eat it. if its secreting poison though its skin then its poisonous while snakes are indeed venomous because they inject it into their victems

Yeah, that was uncalled for. I stop myself all the time because I'm about to call something poisonous when really it's venomous, and I'm supposed to "know better" =P Also, if something is poisonous and you injected it into your bloodstream, you'd probably get sick too. Hence 'poison dart frogs'. As well as I'm sure if you ate venom, you'd probably get just as sick.
Anywaaaay, this is waaay off topic so if you wanna discuss it further, you're welcome to make a new thread or take it to PM. Let's just keep things friendly and relevant guys.

I want to make a relationship comment about snakes to get us back on track, but that'd take us to a whole new level! xD
No new dates to report, I think I'm learning my lesson. If I get my own place, it'll be very easy to live with me so long as I stick to that original plan. *firm nod*

Damn, mine was more creepy, "I know you love me, lets shout it out to the world!" and then me telling him sorry but no. Not that he's not cuddly, I'm sure he would've been, but his energy was pounding down on me all the time that I couldn't even think. I couldn't tell if I liked him or if I was just emoting his ebb and flow. So I said no.

He's an indomitable spirit that I've not talked to in a long while. What ticked me off most was his first reaction to anything honest coming from me was anger. I told him no and he snapped that I didn't have any loyalty towards the things that matter most. [I was living with family, sister and kids included, and she was going through a nasty divorce. He also never called me. Hardly anybody calls me.] Yeah, big, whiny puppy with military background now. When Harry met Sally, I found out I just wanted to be friends, but that's impossible. bleh.

My female best friend used to be like that, with the honesty thing, but now we're able to talk through our problems without upsetting each other. Yeah, you don't need to be dating anyone like that. People suck!

Taken up with the male best friend. Got off to a rocky start because he had moved in with a couple we were friends with. The girl pretty much tried to push me and her boyfriend out of the picture. When my boy figured out what was going on he split and moved back in with me. Now they're trying to cause all kinds of trouble like facebooking our friends and making up stories and whatnot. Minor annoyance, but I'm just ignoring it.
Anyway, things are much better now and life is cool. Not too much time for sitting around though because we're always out doing something.
