Sweet Lady Vi lilchibiusa Sweet Lady Vi Alright, let's go with Truth this time. xp I thought of one! What was the worst/most ridiculous thing someone dared you to do irl? And did you do it? Oh gosh. let's go with terrible! truth or dare use to be my FAVORITE game so I played it ALL the time! I use to come to kelowna every summer to live with my Dad, and this summer, my sister came with me. She met this guy she liked, who happened to be one of my brother's friends so she asked me to dare him to kiss her, so I did, and then in retaliation, he double dared Both of us to go streaking. I have NEVER turned down a dare in my entire life, so we did it. gol. buck naked down the middle of the street (not just a couple steps, we went the whole block and back) at 9:00pm. !! Gosh I had guts back then. haha. probably not a good thing :p Oh, by the way, it was the summer of 2001 (that makes me 13)! (ps ~ don't think poorly of me, That was a LONG time ago :p I was going through a phase) That's hilarious! xd I would never think badly of you! rofl I've had a few friends in college who did that, although they said that they went streaking through the woods. lol I haven't gone in a while, so I guess I'll go again. That's tough. confused I can't pin down one day, but my two weeks in England were the best times in my life. Ask my friends from irl. I'm obsessed. blaugh My first full day in London was probably my most exciting.

((I don't have a bee suit) What is the most humiliating thing you have ever done? When I was in the 6th grade, we were taking semester exams for the first time. It must have been in December. I was so nervous about the tests and not being late that I didn't take the time to go to the bathroom between classes even though I really had to go. You see, the 6th graders were in portables behind the middle school, so we had to walk all the way to the main building to use the bathroom, and then walk back. I didn't think I would have enough time, and I was terrified of being late to an exam, so I didn't go. Well, in retrospect, I really wish I had taken the time to go even if I had been a minute or two late to class; because, about half way through my science exam, my bladder couldn't hold it any longer, and I peed my pants in the middle of the classroom. Everyone laughed at me, and I ended up finishing my science exam in the principal's office after calling my parents to bring me some clean pants. People teased me about it all the way through 8th grade. It was mortifying back then, but now I think it makes for a funny story. blaugh

Don't feel bad for me, Epcot! It was several years ago, and I'm completely fine with it now. If life goes perfectly, you don't have any funny stories to tell later on. biggrin
With that being said, let's look at so more things that have gone wrong! Scythe, if you could go back and visit your middle school/high school self and knock some sense into your younger self, what would you tell your younger self to do? (You may also include how you would do it if you want to make it even more fun. You can pick the age and stuff.)
I'll take a truth again too. I'm about to leave for a couple days to visit relatives, so it would be kind of hard to do a dare right now.

High school Is definitely where it started getting bad. I'd get myself to take school more seriously, first of all. It all just came so easily to me that i started just kind of cruising through classes, riding on paying attention in class and doing only the bare minimum of homework to pass and still pulling out good grades due to my test scores(I've always seen homework as low-worth, superflous busywork. Still do.). I should have buckled down, done my best, and joined some extra-curriculars and gotten into some college where I could figure out what I wanted to study. But I never had any passion for that. It all just felt like more adult bullshit fed to the kids as platitudes to get us to do what they want.(I've always detested being talked down to by my elders especially considering, and yes I am fully aware of the arrogance of the incoming statement, how I always felt I was brighter and sharper and significantly less biased than most of them. Particularly my parents. Dear GOD the ignorance radiating from the two of them is stifling) I never believed in "do your best go to college, and they pathways to your dreams will open up for you to grasp" it was just too cookie-cutter happy ending for me. But my cynicism cost me an now I'm stuck living at home trying to scrape up a job with my crappy electronics associate's degree when I could have been finishing up in college or even looking toward higher degrees by now. The other thing would have to be: I would warn myself about my first (so far only) girlfriend. It was just a bad thing before it even started. We were both in very unhealthy points in our lives, and it just would not have worked no matter what. I'll never be okay with how she handled it, but at least I've moved past it now about 99%. the only thing I can't let go is wishing I had given it someone who actually wanted me as opposed to just settling on a last resort. Maybe tell my younger self to grow some balls and ask girls out instead of pining for them, convinced they'd never be interested in me. Sorry if I issue-dumped more than my fair bit, I usually keep this stuff closely guarded.
