She wanted to ask more questions, but she wasn't sure what to ask or if she should. "Hmm...It's always nice to have someone to help. I wouldn't know how to make any of that to save my life."

"Yes...I mean... I wouldn't have thought you'd want them involved in whatever you're doing. Sons sometimes have more reasons to hate their fathers than others. I don't really have family though."

He frowned, "The whole reason behind the children was so that I would have others to help me on my quest. Not that I regret the time spent with their mother. It was a lesson in kindness I needed to learn. I believe my children know that I love them."

Almarea nestled to him, it was nice to be warm and safe. She hadn't felt like that for a very long time. "Yes, and more sometimes too." She blushed a bit wishing she hadn't spoken so openly.

"It doesn't matter if they like you. I like you and that should be good enough for them. But I'm sure that they'll be kind and like you. They don't see much of their mother, so you will be somewhat of a curiosity to them, I'm sure."

She blushed a bit, it would be odd to have them so interested. But she was still nervous about if they'd like her for her. "So we'll go meet them now?"
