((At least you dont have to try and make at least one post during lunch break at work)) Having rested enough to move again, the lycan stood up. He still looked fatigued, but not as bad off as he was when he made the jump. Walking down the hallways, he sighed again heavily, running over in his mind what had happened during the infiltration, hand upon his chin in deep thought:
1) Although slightly traumatizing due to the looks of the Netherworld, infiltration was seemingly too easy in afterthought. The Demons only converged upon them when they were halfway to the fortress, and there were no guards. Considering the events at the end of the mission, no doubt guards would be stationed there from here on.
2) As quickly as Sin had left without us to the fortress, he came back. There was not much time in between his leaving and return as the rest continued onward towards the fortress and then holding the position while the lycan himself made his own infiltration. Had Sin gleaned enough information to verify a good report?
3) The team was optimal. A strategist, an infiltrator, muscle, and a last resort. Luckily, the last resort wasn't needed, however, the one he felt was the most strategic, Sin, broke down. What did he do to make him go off like that...could Sin be carrying a sin like he was...
He heaved another sigh. There was more to it than this, he just wasn't thinking hard enough, and being distracted by Sins own personal issues would have to come later when the chance presented itself. Still deep in thought, he did not notice the young looking Cambion (Eris) rushing towards him to her own destination.

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ It seemed to have been only a few moments before she got her wish and saw someone, it was a bit dim and she could not see them clearly enough to tell if they were an enemy or not, though she seriously doubted anyone would make it in past all the others who had woken up in time she thought scolding herself. "H-hello there?"
she said aloud to the stranger making her voice sound a small but stern in a small girl kind of way. "If someone is there please present yourself so that I know who you are."
Of course, she was not really afraid, this whole Eris thing was just a cover up to hide who she really was. The only way anyone would know about that though is if they either did a lot of digging or a lot of torture.

His thoughts were broken by the seemingly meek voice. It was someone new to the order, a young Cambion who joined recently, but whenever he would loo at her he couldn't truly believe it. He scent carried little of human attributes and too much of the angelic. Still, it was not his place to argue as his blank stare looked towards her, doing his best to hide the fatigue he carried with him from earlier. "Yes, what is it?"

She stopped where she was and touched the small gem dangling at her neck. "I am Eris, who are you?"
She asked this to show that she knew what she was doing somewhat, even though she was completely lost as to what was going on. At this point, all she knew was the demons and angels still fought amongst each other, and her parents were still missing. "Are you friend or foe?"
she asked cautiously.

"Depends on how you view friend and foe..." It would figure she wouldn't know who he was, he tended to say in the shadows where none but few could see him, and seldom talked for his own reasons. Taking a breath to let her think, eh then spoke again. "I am Alastar, a Nephilim of the shadows and one of this order. You have nothing to fear from me, I mean no harm to anyone, but I may turn the question to you: Who are you?"

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ Slightly taken back by his dark demeanor she still kept a smile on her face. She learned long ago that she should never judge a book by it's cover. He gave her no reason to find him very suspicious so she figured she would take her chances with him. "My name, is Eris Hartnet. I am a Cambion, angelic of course. I too am of this order."
She let out a sigh and took a few steps forward. She still could not quite see his face, though she was sure he could see hers, she was not standing in the shadows at all. In fact he could probably gather that she was quite harmless... though he would be wrong if he thought so.

"A pleasure..." As she got closer, her scent become clearer. As much as she claimed to be Cambion, there was truly little to no scent of human upon her, but of scorching. She was hiding something, that much was for sure, and for that, he could not trust her fully. Retreating slightly int he shadows, his shadows face became nothing more than a pair of red eyes. "You called to me. What did need?"

She stopped, suddenly feeling quite anxious of the situation. "I am new here and you see... I am very much lost and alone. I was only wondering if you knew..."
At this her voice trailed off and she looked off to the side wondering how to word her question better. "If you knew where I was needed, if at all."
Her initial plan was to wander around the place and figure out it's layout, but having someone tell her what she was supposed to be doing was good information to have, just in case she got caught. She sighed, the war had caused so many problems for her, she seemed to be a totally different person now and it saddened her.

It was true, she was new there. As much as she didn't know him, he knew little of her. Stepping out of the shadows, his full lycan features came into view. For now, he will be her guide. As the saying goes, "Keep your friends close, your enemies closer," and for those you are wary, keeping them close was best. "I see. We have just finished a recon int he Netherworld. for now, we are only waiting Sin's report. I'll show you around fortress until then..."

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ He surprised her again, she had no idea he was a lyncan though of course she would not bring that up at the moment. Upon hearing of the mission she sighed, "More waiting... it's all this war is meant for. Soon everyone will forget what we are fighting for and people will be so used to it, that no one will be able to stop. I hope we can make it to them before it's too late."
Placing a hand to her chest she took in a shallow breath and looked up into what she could see of his eyes. "I'm sorry, you will have to forgive me, I have been waiting so long. I offer you my thanks for guiding me. I had no idea how big this place was."

As they began to walk through the corridors, he kept close to the shadows, his red stare keeping forward towards the first destination. As she finished talking, there was a short silence, as if h was not listening before he spoke only one word.
"Peace..."

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ She smiled up at him quietly, intrigued by his lack of words. Her curiosity had gotten her into a lot of trouble before today, but she hoped today would not be like that as well. "Yes, such a simple word, yet it does so very much."
A glazed look covered her face for a moment, as she thought of how life was before the war. If she had had her way, the rulers that were funding this war would have their limbs tied to horses and be torn apart. Then maybe they could have some form of sympathy for those who were suffering through this time.

Sin awoke from his slumber atop his peak on the base. He had dozed off for a few moments. He sighed and sat up, holding his head. What happened? He thought. Violent flashes of his past and the events that transpired earlier flashed through his mind. It took him by surprise and he fell off his perch, plummeting towards the snowy ground. He teleported abruptly and landed on his side in front of Eris and Alastar. He let out a small groan as he slowly rose to his feet. He wasn't aware that they were behind them.

"More than that..." His own eyes glazing over, he subconsciously griped the dogtags that dangled on his neck. He remembered the smiling face of his father, the fleeting few moments being with his mother. He was lost in them for a moment before coming to grips with himself and letting the tags go as he spoke again. "It's a reason for this war...that I will never forget..."
At that moment, Sin had teleported before them. He was surprised, but surprise was quickly overcome as he noticed some pain. Kneeling down, he offered his hand to what he felt was his superior. "Sin, are you OK now?
