 Mirina looked at Sabidan cold and hard. "You act as if what i am is my own fault!" She roared at him. "I am what i am and it can not be changed. The only thing we can do with what we are is live with it." She stood in wait, thinking. She looked at the ground, then back to Sabidan. Mirina was tired of wandering and being rejected everywhere. Life was harsh and filled with close minded selfish people. She just wanted everything to be peaceful, but she didnt see it coming. "Just where do you suppose i go then, mister advisor, if your so high and mighty. Tell me where might i go where i can be accepted. If you're so superior then you must know right!" She snapped in retort.

Degial's smile remained as he took the Cambion's hand and gently brushed his lips across it. He had toned down his power to affect people, so that the Cambion would not feel alienated by the idea that Degial was trying to influence her. "I'm sorry, my lady, my companion is often overzealous." He said, hoping that Sabidan would not object. "You are welcome here, as are all Cambions, as long as the intention is peaceful. King Rael expresses it personally."

((I'm sorry about being so AFK for a while, I just haven't really known what to write about, since there's nothing for my character to do except stand around and smile.... that and I've been pretty busy with work and stuff, seeing as it is the holiday season, and now I get to think about how my parents will most likely be moving at the end of this month.... so I get to either find a new place to live, or find a bunch of people to help me pay for rent. anyway, enough of my own problems...))
After shaking herself of the shock-induced coma, Em opened her wings and flew softly over to Degial and the Cambian, putting her hand gently on the woman's shoulder and smiling at her. "You will find no judgement from me, miss," she said softly. "I know all too well what happens when a person judges out of turn, and have learned quickly not to be so hasty to throw out my own opinion. You shall have no problem in gaining my acceptance."

Mirina was happy to be accepted by someone. She had no intentions of stiring up trouble, just simply to live in peace away from the humans and demons. Her ability wasnt such a great one and she wasnt able to truly fight in a large battle. She never desired war or to fight. "Thank you." Mirina said with a genuine smile, something she hadnt done in 50 years. She felt more warmth from these people. She waited however for the response or Sabidan, before she took her leave. Even before that, she would need to find a way to make living arrangements.

"Yeah wait till the whole damn Regiment shows up." he said silently, spitting behind the Cambions foot. "Listen." he said as she turned around. "If you want to be accepted here, you better learn to listen to your superiors."

Rael paces in his throne room, effectively penned in. His heart years to return to Earth, to collect the wounded . . . and despite his disparate wish against it, learn of the losses. Still, he has asked several people to meet him here, and now his word binds him to the throne. Hans remains missing, which is odd, unless he did go to Earth in Rael's stead. That would make sense, and the king merely accepts the most likely path for his stalwart champion.
Thinking of Hans as a champion reminds Rael of what his closest advisors are to him. He had thought of Sabidan as his 'sword,' but as of late the proverbial blade is sharper than he desired. Taking a seat at his throne, he sighs and laces his fingers before his face as he loses himself in thought. Sabidan . . . what is happening to you? Is the war affecting you too much anymore? Your tolerance wanes, your anger grows. Is this my doing? Perhaps he is reacting to my own selfish need to extinguish our foes. Then again, perhaps this is due to my inability to stop the humans from falling? Is the purge justified, as I think it is? Does the Light need to eradicate the humans? Yes- it must. They are as evil and corrupted as the Horde now. Still, the Regiment and Cambions- what role with they take? The one I prescribe for them, or will the Light face a war with yet another race over Earth?
The lack of answers weighs heavily upon the king, even as the Light heals his body. Here in the Sarra, Celestials need not fear physical harm. Few things can end the life of a being of light in the homeland. Simply existing here heals grievous wounds. If only the Light could ease the torment of lament as easily, Rael would be the king he feels he should be, and never have this need to hesitate in what he both knows- and fears must be done.

Mirina's expression showed know hint of surprise toward the mans reaction. She wouldnt let him get to her. She waved her hand lightly as she began to walk away from him. She had no real destination, just like before, but she had no intentions of going back to earth anytime soon. She wished for peace, but wasnt sure how to obtain it and at what costs it would come. This made her not want to be a part of any of it. She wished to live in Sarra in peace for the rest of what was to be her life.

Sabidan shook his head. "Look dammit." he said stepping in front of her. "This is my kingdom." he said as he pressed his fingers to his chest. "Get used to it."

Degial frowned, putting a hand on Sabidan's shoulder, "Sabidan, please... The Lord's orders..." He hoped that Sabidan would remember that Rael was injured and not in the best of moods, thus he would not take lightly to Sabidan scaring off the Cambion, someone he wanted to see. Degial stepped in front of Sabidan, shaking his head. "Please, if there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to ask it of us. Anything within my power to grant, I would to the best of my ability give to you." He hoped that she would try to ignore Sabidan for now. With a significant look back at Sabidan, he took the Cambion's hand and spread his wings. It glowed white beneath the golden sun and created a shield around them.

Mirina was taken back a bit by the gesture. Her eyes widened. She then blushed when Degial stepped infront of Sabidan and then shielded her. She was almost at a loss for words. "I...Uh, yes, umm, I do need a place to stay." She managed to say gently. She had never been welcomed so well and shunned so harshly at once and was a bit mixed up. she was feeling so much at once, more than Mirina had ever felt before. She wouldnt let Sabidan get to her, that much she knew. She calmed herself of the anger she felt. Mirina didnt want to give the man the reaction he had been looking for. He wanted any reason at all for her to be thrown out and Mirina knew it. She wouldnt slip up. she would stay in her human form and refrain from using her abilities.Another factor calmed Mirina. The light from Sarra and the golden light of Degial's wings seemed quite soothing. She wasnt quite all angry and lonely inside, it felt warm like when she was very very young. No matter how much that harsh reality kept snapping back to her, the warmth quickly struck back.

Degial nodded, "Of course. I will find for you lodgings to your satisfaction." His smile became infectious. He took a step towards her, leaning down, "But before all that. I hope you will not mind meeting the King of Sarra, Rael. I assure you he is anxious to see you well settled." The sun illuminated the light tresses of Degial's hair, forming a halo around him. Degial was expert in using his surroundings to his advantage, creating about him an ethereal aura.

Mirina took a quick gulp of air as it felt like her heart and brain would melt. The blush on her face turned deeper and she was at a loss of brain track. It was such a new experience to her. She quickly shook her numbness. "Could i ask your name before i meet the king." she asked sweetly. She was prepared and ready to go anywhere. What she wore was what she owned.

Sabidan growled at the Cambion and looked at Degial. "If it were just a regular Cambion you would of killed it on the spot." he said as he took off towards the castle.

Degial wanted to call out to Sabidan and try to persuade him to think otherwise but his duty stopped him. Rael wanted to see the Cambion and she was now under his protection. "Degial, of the archangels." He introduced himself, "And I must apologize, in the excitement I forgot to ask your name." He took her hand and let the wind take his wings. Using his strong wings to lift both of them, his touch was gentle and guiding. They flew towards the throne room.

Mirina was knocked back to her normal mind set by their exchange of words. She arched her eyebrow in puzzlement. She would like to know what made her so special. She knew she had a multitude of abilities due to her age and experience. Despite her looks of a young 16yr old girl, she was a powerful 234yr old cambion. When asked her name, she replied with a Gentle tone, "Mirina."
