Taggert blinked. "I wouldn't cause it to fog here. It does nothing for the smell and you'll fall in alot quicker if you cannot see."

He waved about the fog, trying to clear the way so he could see where to step rather then feel for it. He grabbed her hand/hoof and started to move to a clearer area, leaving the noise maker where he was. It's always hard to be loud in the bog's area.

"My apologies....I figured peace and quiet is better to get to know someone rather then a domineering noise maker." He flashed a grin. He wasn't bothered by the smell...he'd grown used to it. "As for the stench? Uh...yeah that would be my grandfather's bog of eternal stench. Being careful is key lest you wind up in there and smelling for the rest of your life."

"Um...no....Ever wondered why goblins smell like they haven't bathed for weeks?"

"Oh right.." He paused. "Well in case you come across one and you wonder why they end up smelling so horrid...well you just discovered why." He flashed a grin before he led her away from the stench.

s**t?! Granddad's going to flip?! She has no baby to steal! he grumbled in his head, all the while keeping his smile on his face. He wondered where his mother was in the labyrinth, hoping she could help him with the issue. Of course he was merely keeping the girl safe and he knew the labyrinth....maybe not as well as everyone else but better then others.

A stone shifted as one of the tinier gremlin goblins had lifted the stone. Taggert's foot caught on it and he was sent to the ground on his face, wincing with the mild scrap on his chin. He frowned as the gremlin flipped out, realizing he'd just tripped royal blood!

Taggert's eyebrow twitched as his hand snaked around to grab the gremlin like goblin and fire burned in his eyes as he glared. "Do you never notice when my family is walking around to NOT open your stones until we've passed?!"

The gremlin wiggled and whimpered and fussed. "I'm sorry! Please not the bog! Please, please, please!"

Taggert grunted. "I'm not going to throw you into the bog...just bloody watch it next time alright? Lest it is my grandfather that happens to walk past..."

The gremlin nodded his head so fast that it started swimming from dizziness.

Setting the goblin down and watching it scurry back under the stone and click it in place, Taggert turned his attention to her, now in a cooler manner. "Peachy," he said and flashed a grin.

"The smallest of the goblins that run around here. Trust me...as long as you're with a royal, the goblins won't harm you. They're too afraid."
