Sora kept up her sprinting pace as she entered the forest. Truly, this thing had begun to creep her out. When was the last time she had seen so much greenery? Come to think of it, when was the last time that she actually saw the color green? A small chuckle escaped her throat. Indeed, it had been quiet a long time. She heard light foot steps behind her, which she knew was Kesuden-sensei's. At least he was able to catch up.

Kuza slowly made her way through the forest, her breath was shallow and a small trail of blood was following behind her. She still had yet to remove the katana that was lodged deep into her left shoulder. "damit.. almost there.." She grinned a bloody smile as she grew close tot he village.

Sora kept up her sprinting pace, watching the trees whiz pass her one after another. It was almost as if this entire forest would never stop. As much as Sora somewhat enjoyed that actual fact, she somehow became a little homesick. Her old house where she had grown up was on a mountain with lots of trees, and this just reminded her of it. However, she had a mission at hand, so she just continued to sprint, seeing the gates appear ahead of her. Finally...

 Konaga ShinjiIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin As Shinji made his way down the open path, the sides began to become narrower and narrower as more and more rocky soil and earth transitioned into lush plant life and trees. They were now clearly in the Land of Fire as Shinji led the way, his sensei quickly in tow behind him as he came upon the edge of the Konoha forests. "Konoha... the place is practically a legend, even now, after all those years." With the forest fast approaching, Shinji didn't slow down a bit as he came to the edge, instantly leaping up to the trunk of one of the trees as he channeled his chakra to his feet, gripping the bark as he gave a solidly push off of it. Sailing to the trunk of a nearby tree, he repeated this action once more as he crossed into the dense forestry.
Travel through these woods was always tricky, and dangerous at speeds this high, but with the urgency of his sensei's words still fresh in his mind, Shinji had no intention of slowing down. The tree limbs and greenery of the forest passed by him quickly as Shinji found himself leaping from one large tree branch to another, the speed off of his jumps carrying him over 50 ft from branch to branch as he rushed through the forest. Every landing was accompanied by the channeling of his chakra as his sensei had taught him, giving him balance and an extra bit of boost off his jumps as he sailed through the forests. At times Shinji would even havie to grab hold of a branch above him when the leap between branches was too far, using the overhead branch as a sort of swing to get to the next branch. this however would prove no challenge to him either as he effortlessly applied the control he had learned with his feet to his hands, allowing him to continue his quickened pace through the forest without fear of falling.
Konoha wouldn't be far away now with the pace he and his sensei were keeping and it wouldn't be long before he found out if their urgency was warranted. In the meantime however, Shinji kept his watch keen, surveying his surroundings at all times, watching for dangers as he simultaneously traversed the dense forestry. His blood had already began to surge with adrenaline as his face could not hide a strange grin. Shinji lived for action and this was no different, exciting him to no end to be out on a mission, moving at high speeds, where danger and adventure lurked around the corner. He kept it all in control however, not allowing his excitement to upset his judgment as he began to be able to see the edge of the forest and Konoha in the distance.

Akira continued his journey with Shinji, watching as greenery began to break through the gaps in the crag, eventually overcoming the rock and transforming into the forest of Konohagakure. His movements were almost synchronized with Shinji, he felt this was the best way to keep an eye on him and make sure he could respond in time if the boy was threatened. His lips twitched as if smiling when Shinji used the Wall-walking technique to move up a tree, the training already proving itself valuable.
Shinji's bounds through the trees were impressive indeed, great feats of athletic prowess, though he was still a little rough around the edges. While he covered a little more ground with the power behind his leaps, it also meant if he slipped up his fall would be all the more brutal. Akira made slightly smaller jumps, gliding through the air as he did, however he was just as fast, and by making smaller lighter jumps he wasn't using as much energy even though he was jumping more than Shinji.
Konohagakure began to move into sight and Akira knew this was the time to be both slightly relieved and all the more vigilant. They hadn't caught sight of anything that they deemed related to the strange and bloody scene back at the Death Road. This meant one of two things; either it was all behind them, or it was all ahead of them, neither sat as 'good' with Akira. Turning to Shinji for a moment, he examined the boy's face to see how he was feeling, but quickly turned back to the goal in front of them, slightly bemused by the boy's simultaneous focus and enthusiasm

Sora hit the road hard as she began her trek towards Iwagakure. Her goal was set, and she planned to stay by it. After all, she wasn't going to go back on her word. But something troubled her greatly. She hadn't seen Kesuden-sensei at all since she got out of the forest. Where could he have possibly gone? She'd have to tell the Kazekage when she got back that they may be short a ninja. Soon, the road came into view and Sora began sprinting down the path. She was going to get in and out and not help any rogue ninja or get involved in any village fight. Yep, she was going to have nightmares about this day.

Konaga Shinji Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin Showing no signs of fatigue, Shinji sped through the forest as he had before, wondering what the Tsuchikage would hear and say about the reports. He had done what he was supposed to do with the documents and more... he wondered if the Tsuchikage would acknowledge it. His thoughts continued along these lines for a while as his skill navigated him back through the forest, leaping from branch to branch. This time however, rather then surging ahead, he had done what he had seen his sensei do and began to take smaller leaps so that they were traveling more side by side then one in front of the other.
"Akira-sensei..." he said, allowing his peripheral vision to catch with his teacher's for a second before refocusing back to navigating his jumps..."What do you think about the situation? Do you think that everything said by the Leaf is true? I was thinking about it, and it doesn't sound right. Sepukku isn't a standard practice among most villages... and even less so among ninja. The old bushido laws demanded that it be done to retain honor, but that was the way of the Samurai. Clearly we are not bound by the same principles, so why would a missing-nin wish to ritually kill themselves to retain a concept of 'honor' by the old system."
Now that Shinji's brain was moving, it was hard to stop it and he continued on, speaking his mind to the older and more experienced Jounin, who he hoped might be able to answer some of his questions... "And what of the woman's body? Seleste left no trace, yet the leaf made no mention of it. Would they simply burn her body as well? what would give them the right?... that would be our duty." ending the note on a statement rather then a question, knowing that his teacher would likely comment on it as well. It was just as well as they were nearing the edge of the forest on the other side, which would empty them out to the Death Road. the journey had seemed slower this time, but it was in fact the same length... only not as much 'danger' was present as when they first left.

Akira followed Shinji dutifully, as the student had followed him when he had taken charge of any situation. Occasionally taking a sip from his bottle as slipped from tree to tree like some sort of forest nymph, gliding effortlessly between each branch. It was amazing what a little water could do for Akira's skills in and out of combat; hydration was key.
"You're very observant Shinji, and completely right, it is very suspicious, their answers, the lack of a corpse, still, very suspicious indeed. Shall we turn around and bang on their gates, call them liars and demand the truth till our throats are sore?" responded Akira, with a sliver of venom on his tongue, just to reinforce the situation for the youth, hoping it didn't leave him indignant and thus in opposition of further wisdom the Jounin could offer him.
"Politics, Shinji, there's no place for justice or ideals in the short term of politics, it's a long and dangerous road. We have no further cards to play in Konoha. Soon, however, there will be an esteemed Sannin of the Leaf negotiating with us, then will have some cards to play"
Akira dropped down the trees as they approached the ominous Death Road, and as the vegetation turned to stone Akira felt his mouth become dryer, so he took another swig of water from his bottle.

Unless you looked up. If you looked up it was pretty darn noticeable. The smallest one, who was controlling the platform turned a glare on another. "If you think you're going to tell her, I'm going to drop you off here." He growled. David would have none of this giving away of secrets. "That goes for all of you. Anything I do that isn't pathetic and boring is to be kept between us. I don't need people knowing everything about me." He glanced between Akura and the smoke guy, ignoring the blanked out twins. They probably didn't even realize what was going on. "Understood?" He demanded. He was most definitely the one in charge right now, as one wrong word from them would have them falling to the ground. Akura fell over David but heared exactly what he said, he then got back up and practicly ran in the oposite direction and jumped off the tree " Understood David-sama, I'm so sorry for this!!" he said as he was shaking on the base of the tree almost a quarter of a mile away.

Akura stood up and directed his attention to the his two companions " Hey you guys, look, the wall of the hidden leaf lets go!". he said as he jumped back on a tree and jumped to the village.
