A loud crash and a soft thump near her made Sora's head whirl in a few directions. Up, down, right, left.... TANZU?! She immediately stood up from her position, running over to her friend's side. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked, a look of disbelief and worry clouding her face. What was he doing out here? Wasn't he angry at her? There was no way in hell that he would have followed her out here, right? She would find out soon. "I'm sorry, I'm not a medic yet, so you're going to have to deal with these." Sora muttered, pulling out a small container. It had small red bead-like items inside. "Swallow one."

"No, wait, God dammit..." Tanzu mumbled back, shoving away the pills. Slowly he sat himself up, right to his knees. He sighed, looking down and away. "I came out here cause...mainly to watch you leave, but...also to apologize." He bit his lip, so ashamed of himself. "That outburst...it was inappropriate, and uneeded. But...I can't help it. It's just my way of proving myself...it used to be for my family, but..." He smiled bitterly...

Sora's eyes widened slightly. Then, for the first time since she turned four, she closed her eyes and burst into a small fit of laughter. It was a kind sound, not an evil cackle, and was incredibly soft. "Forgive me, but I can't help but find it hilarious. Stubborn Tanzu.... apologizing?" She laughed a little bit more, putting the pills back in her bag. Guess he didn't want any help anyway. "It's okay." She said quietly, wrapping her arms around him lightly. "You're forgiven. Just try not to do that anymore, alright?" She asked quietly.

Tanzu laughed at the sound she was making, not bitterly, but for a good reason this time. But when...silent tears escaped him, making him close his eyes. It...reminded him of his last hug his mother gave him, just before he set off for the day....

A small streak of moisture fell across Sora's face as she pulled away from Tanzu. It was only then she noticed that the boy was crying. "Sh, it's alright. Don't cry." The violet-haired girl whispered, using one finger to wipe away the tears. A hard to swallow memory? Sora thought of all the possibilities for the sudden tears. Or something else? I'm pretty sure it's a difficult memory. She sighed, smiling a little bit. "We're all gonna be safe. No problem!"

Tanzu sighed, shaking his head and wiping the rest away himself. "Does it look like I'm crying like that? Of course not. Cool guys don't sob when they do, you know." He smiled back, closing his eyes suddenly. "I know...it's gonna suck, though, when you're gone...hardly anyone to train with. Except Shayera. By the way, why don't you two get along so well?"

"You're right, what was I thinking?" Sora sighed quietly, standing up and cracking her back audibly. Cool guys... Sometimes that boy... She thought to herself, but she just let it slide. Who cares, really? "Shayera?" Sora asked, looking down at Tanzu. "She has a troubled past, it's plain in the way she's almost always have internal-dilemma. Besides," She said, tying her hair back into a straight braid as she paused for a moment, "I hate women." She stated plainly. Yes, she was a girl, but she hated being one! Sexual prejudice... it really got her mad. And almost every girl she knew had a really bitchy side... and that just pissed her off.

Tanzu paused as well before standing. "In a sense, that's a bit of prejudice on its own..." he replied, after reading her expressions. "But why, though? Why would you hate your own gender?" Of course, Tanzu swallowed his words. He, too, hated his own.

"Girls have a tendency to... get others mad really easily, you know?" Sora said quietly. "They shoot their mouth off, talk back, complain... and they're not like boys. They don't learn from physical pain. They just hate you or avoid you and keep on going." She sighed. Her father had once told her that if she ever were like that then he'd kill her. She never talked back to him, matter of fact said much. And she most definitely never complained. Speaking of complaining... "I wonder where Kesuden-sensei is... we're going to be late." Sora muttered under her breath, looking at the sun. By the looks of it... it was about three o' clock.

Tanzu listened intently, noting to himself that she made sense...but there were some faults. "But you're only recognizing their bad attributes. Sure, they complain like hell, but...they also soothe people more easily than we do." He frowned, remembering the jackasses that had something to pick with him. As for his gender, they were roudy, idiotic, often perverted, and not at all supportive...

Sora had to smirk a bit to herself. Tanzu did have a point, she was only looking at the bad characteristics of a girl. But still... girls need to be soothed a lot more than boys do, and that's a pain in the a**. "You probably don't know, but I grew up with only one male influence in my life. I never knew a mother, or a sister... and this Kazekage isn't something that I would consider family." Sora muttered quietly. Her father was the only person she had known for close to twelve years of her life. She had ignored so many other presences, up until two years ago.

Tanzu thought for a moment, looking down and away. "Same for me...but...if that's the case," he continued, smiling bitterly, "then you've missed out on a helluva lot of 'influences...'"

"Only my father, actually. The Kazekage may have had some part... but not as much as my father." Sora said quietly, not bothering to look at Tanzu as she said this. "He was only with me for four years. Then he left and went to be with my mother. I might have been a lot more like him if he had stayed." Sora sighed softly, looking up at the sky again. About 3:15... another fifteen minutes and Kesuden-sensei would be late.

Tanzu said nothing now. It had gotten a bit too personal for him...he just felt a bit uncomfortable, talking about the past and the people once loved and now missed. "Say...where's that Kesuden guy anyway?" he asked, searching for something to change the subject on. He DID want to listen to her...but...he closed his eyes. He didn't want to talk about dead loved ones, especially this soon after...

Sora gave a quiet sigh as she looked back over the village. "Who knows? He's going to be late." She muttered, more to herself than to Tanzu. But she had a grateful smile on her face. "But thanks for coming out, ya know? It's really nice of you." Sora whispered. Her smile was small, but there was a whole lot of emotion behind it.
