Matsuya nodded as the left. He looked at his hand. Inside his palm was a small bead, like a woman would wear in her hair. "It's been so long. Two years can do alot to a man. Isn't that right, Asami?" He continued to look at the bead, thinking.

Jade looked up to the great Hokage faces and smiled. *If that was in my village, there would be about 2 faces...* She shook her head, and walked into the office. The receptionist pointed to a set of stairs, and Jade sighed, of course. She still held the apple in her hand as she walked up the steps. Her robes shuffled about her as she walked, her dark skin a bit of a stand out. Even when she was in Konoha in her younger days, she was an oddity. Her golden eyes scanned the area, remembering it as the same it was before. Jade finally reached the door of the Hokage, and knocked on the door with 3 sharp raps. Jade was contemplating on whether or not to eat the green apple in her hand, or wait for it.

Matsuya looked up from the bead in his hand, hearing the knocks. "Come in." Matsuya quickly pocketed the bead. He would keep that secret his for a while. He grabbed the bag of apples on his desk and shoved it into one of the larger drawers on his desk. "Please excuse the mess, it's been a long day." His desk was strewn with folders and other countless sheets of paper. Most of them mission reports and requests from the villagers.

Jade pushed open the door after turning the knob. She had a smile on her face, though it was replaced with a bit of shock. "Oh? You're quite young looking! What a surprise. You must be strong then eh? I'm Jade Shihouin, Tsuchikage." She gave a bit of a bow, dipping her head low. Now, she opened her robes, no longer cold. Her hand was playing around with the green apple in her hand, as she would wait to eat it now.

Matsuya bowed his head in return. "Thank you, I try my best." He started to organize the papers on his desk. Even he, Konoha's self-proclaimed Black Hand needed a little orginization. "So what brings you to my humble little nation?" He looked up from the papers, an eyebrow raised in inquiry.

{I'm sorry I took so long...been painting my house >.<}
Jade smiled and glanced around the office, taking little details in. "I simply wish to meet the other powers in the world. I want to get acquainted with each." Perhaps she would need an ally in the future, this would help her sort the strong from the weak, the hospitable to the hostile. So far, everything was moving smoothly.

Matsuya nodded. "Ah, I see. I went on something like that not to long ago." He hit he papers against the desk, making them into a stack. "I understand how important it is to meet those who you will either be working with or fighting one day. It helps us keep a sense of control on the situation, more security." He looked up from his desk, smiling. "And so far, you seem like the kind of person I would make an alliance with."

Jade wasn't ready to make a decision at the moment. "Ah, well I feel honored!" Perhaps later, when she could talk with Aeden, she would discuss her options with her other half. "This may seem intruding, though I must know. Are there any village leaders so far who seem hostile?" Everyone at the moment seemed to be content with the way things were.

Matsuya thought for a moment. "No, I don't think so. I've only met the Kazekage and the Sunagakure sannin, Zane Hajime. Zane is an old friend of mine, him and the Mizukage. So I know they will accept me as allies. That is, if the Mizukage doesn't resent me for leaving Kirigakure." Matsuya messed with the sleeve of his robe. He had small habits, like this one.

Jade nodded her head, finally biting into the apple she held. She savored the taste before speaking. "I've met the Sannin of the Sand, and a cluster of people over in Kirigakure. Seems like a nice bunch." She didn't bother to add how she thought they were over-protective, simply because Aeden was as well. Jade took notice of him messing with his sleeve, and smiled. Kids were always doing interesting things.

Matsuya nodded when she said that Kirigakure was nice. "I know, I grew up there. I came here two years ago to train with my clan. And since then, I've gotten stronger. But it's still hard think about what I left behind." Matsuya thought about the bead in his pocket, that was enough proof to back up his statement. "But in the end, they're still my old friends; Zane and Luo. I don't think I could kill either of them if I tried." Matsuya chuckled slightly. "And even if I did try, they know most of my flaws. So they'd probably just punch me in the face and tell me to go home. That's the way things used to go back in Kirigakure."

Jade laughed at his little story. She looked out of the window, and was almost lost in it's beauty. Here was where she grew up, where she trained, where she made a name for herself. This was also where she lost it all, where she was disgraced. "Ay, I long for my home as well..." She didn't bother to add in where her home was, that knowledge was privy to only a few people, such as herself and Aeden.

Matsuya nodded. "I think we all do, even if we're as close as we can be to our home. And even if you return, things won't be the same as when you left." He sighed, looking out the window aswell. "But I have my home here now. I have my people to take care of. I have my shinobi to manage and train."
