Crystalstar sighed. The fourth has shown her abilities. "This is going to be bad."
Silvermist stared at Crystalstar in wonder. "The fourth already? It's LakeClan now, right? Waterpaw, was it?"
Silvercloud approached the siblings. "Yeah, Waterpaw. It seems as if she's confused, she doesn't want the power."
Crystalstar nodded. "Which cat would want to know that they have amazing powers, but then everyone else would think that they're a monster. That's what happens. The only exception is TwilightClan. Darkpaw thinks that Daypaw's power is pretty awesome."

"Power can be both a privilege and a burden. But to know that a forth has shown power, this is good. I've been to earth recently and I can see them moving. It's very slight, but the shadows are mobilizing. I just hope those kits are ready when they do." Cloudheart meowed, coming up behind Crystalstar, and speaking loud enough for all to hear.

Crystalstar nodded in greeting to Cloudheart. "Yes. The shadows are moving, and we need to get the kits prepared. The challenge will come quickly, and they will show no mercy."

"They know not to show mercy, for they have lost all sense." Cloudheart meowed. He looked down at his paws, a pang of sorrow ripping through him. Emberstar was down there and part of those shadows, but it wasn't her fault.
He would never forget the day she was stolen from StarClan.

Jaypaw scratched her head. Powers? Daypaw had powers?
Jaypaw padded up to the group of cats. "What kinds of powers do these cats have?" She asked curiously, feeling goofy to not have known that they had powers.

"You wouldn't know because you were alive when the prophecy came, but something terrible is going to happen, and it all started on the day of the Sunless Day." Watersong meowed. He looked Jaypaw in the eyes as he began to describe it all to her. The six daughters of Moonteller giving birth to the kits of Sun on that fateful day, and how for many years prior the shadows had been battling StarClan for control over the skies over the mountains. When the two most powerful cats' in all the valley blood combined the moon overshadowed the sun and six kits were born. These kits are the chosen of StarClan, but feared by shadows. To get rid of them, the shadows possessed the medicine cats of each clan, attempting to murder the kits and their parents, however only parents were killed and the kits lived on.
"Cloudheart says the shadows are gaining in power, therefore it is of dire importance that these kits harness their powers as soon as possible," Watersong finished. He looked on into the distance, "So to ensure their safety, we've assigned to them guardians, six heroes of the past to light their way. I just hope they can manage.

Jaypaw looked at the former TwilightClan warrior with amazed eyes. "Wow," She breathed. She then got to thinking. The clans must of been frightened out of their minds that day!

Crystalstar shook her head. "Cloudheart, that's for the prophecy kits to do. None of the other cats will know much. Ohh! I wish we could go down and guide them, too." She mewed. "The kits are so confused, and have no clue how to harness their powers!"

Silvercloud looked up at her former leader. "Patience is a virtue..."
Crystalstar flattened her ears, hissing. "Well, it's been too long!" She snapped.

"Crystalstar calm down! You should be ready to wait a thousand moons if it means that the clans will be safe!" Watersong hissed. "And who knows how long that will be? If it takes a thousand moons to grant the clans just one more moment of peace, then I'll wait. StarClan knows they'll need it with what's to come."

Cinderstar padded back into the camp, yawning. She was exhausted. She padded to the rocky part of the camp and curled up against a rock.
