Arin wake up abruptly, as most cats do, and on seeing the red hedgehog, jumped least five feet in the air, and fell out of the tree. She landed on her feet. "Uh, well, I kind of don't have anywhere to go. I was going to assassinate Eggman, but there was enough going on there, anyways," Arin said grudgingly, and climbed back up so she was facing him.

"Well as thrilling as that sounds, I think it'd be better if you stayed with us, we both have the same goal, so if you stayed with us, you wouldn't have to sleep outside, and we'd have more help getting the emeralds to eliminate Eggman.

Arin smiled, and thought a minute. "Okay, but quick question. Before you kill him, can I torture him? I have a bit of a grudge, and plan to make him pay in full," Arin asked. Death was nice and all, but she wanted him to suffer for what he did to her parents. And she'd make sure of it. This guy seemed nice, and it would be nice not to get drenched and turned into a popsicle.

Arin looked down, a sudden grimness on her face. "You don't understand. The way he killed them was extreme. But I suppose my parents wouldn't want me to go that far. Sure, I'll just beat the crud out of him," Arin agreed hesitantly. Maybe the worst part of her parents death was the torture. Eggman was a total @$$. Oh, well. It would at lest give her a chance to give him internal bleeding.

"Why don't you come inside?" S.M. said jumping out of the tree and walking towards the house. "Sonic mad chili dogs!"
"S.M., who'd you bring this time?" Sonic said swallowing a bite of his chili dog.
"This is Arin, she's here to help, she's got kind of a price to pay with Eggman, so she's gonna help us look for the chaos emeralds." S.M. said grabbing another chili dog.

Arin followed S.M inside, and was surprised by the chili dogs. She liked chili dogs, but really? She was somewhat offended by the blue hedgehogs reaction to her, but she guessed it could be kind of weird. "Hi, nice to meet you. I'm assuming your Sonic?" Arin said. He looked pretty cool. She was starving, and took a chili dog. It was nice to have decent food for once.

S.M.'s ear flicked to the sound but he ignored it yhinking it was probably just a flickey.

(sorry I haven't posted much.)
Crystal ended up leaving Eggman's base after night fell and she didn't see him. She after running for a while she stopped under a tree and sat down. It only took a few minutes for her to fall asleep but she soon woke up after a few hours when she heard talking and said angrily "What the heck is going on?" Crystal looked through a window of a house that was near by and listen to the conversation ducking down every so often when someone looked at the window.

*sighs* "that was close.......i hope no one around here can sense chaos emeralds...."*gets out emerald* now's a good time to heal myself *heals self with chaos emerald* *goes closer to house* *gets on roof* *accidentally trips, making a loud bang*"they are bound to hear that!"
