"Miss miss miss! You spilled sumtin on the ground..looks messy.." little red hooves made little hoof prints through the sand. The grains easily crunching and sliding beneath them, as with a cute little grin alberon trotted up to the surly looking female twilif. Seemingly unafraid of the horned female, truly just curious as he only had so much time to play. Dashiell had grudgingly allowed his dear child to go out and enjoy himself for a while as he finished things up on his own. Deeming it would be far easier to gather what they needed without the easily excited boy constantly swiping things off of shelves and accidentally tripping into other wandering pedestrians.

He truly didnt mean to be clumsy! It was just hard to stay focused on one thing when so many other things were going on all at once..and so many shiny things..and sparklies..."What is it anyways?" he asked pointing to the acidic looking goop on the sand, ooohing and awhing a bit over it as it slowly seeped deeper and spread. He'd intended to play in the surf..though he'd been told not to go too deep..The sand had just been soo inviting though!

Noel smiled. So, he did come after him. I'm flattered you'd say that.. But I'm no one to go hunting miles and miles for. A sweet, pale blush spread across his cheeks, until he looked up and noticed the expression on Ergo's features.

A soft, cool hand reached out and touched Ergo's cheek. Ergo.. Are you alright..? Noel's eyes searched the others, worrying more and more about him. He didn't seem quite right.. Something was nagging on his dear friend's mind, something he couldn't quite place.

"I'm sorry.." Fulmine murmured. He felt as if he had failed his mission. But he wouldn't give up, it just wasn't in his nature. "Perhaps we should ask around more. We can find more information about temples and the like at the inn. Noel and I need to find somewhere to sleep aswell, and we can certainly accommodate your fare as well.

Suzette stopped and look over her shoulder to see who had called for her. her gaze was met by that of a small child, a phyri child. Her eyes then went from the small pool of poison in the sand to the kids hooves, he was way to close to it, a couple more of steps and he will step right into it.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in, no. it was not the kids fault he was an innocent, he had done noting wrong.
"What is your name child?" she took a few steps towards him still debating whether to drag him into or away from the poison.

Azhure wanted to stay, wanted to believe that if she waited here long enough that everything would fall out the way she wanted. That some miracle would occur, that she would wake to find everything that had happened today would have been just a dream. She was practical though, and knew she needed to find a place to stay, that she would be more prepared to start her search again tomorrow if she did.

"It's not your fault that this isn't what I was looking for. But at least its a start, ya know." She motioned the constellation, El was with. "Who's that anyway?" She wrinkled her nose with distaste. She didn't like him, there was something about him she couldn't read.

But she really didn't want to impose on them any more than she already had. And besides, her two new friends would probably need to return to the rest of their family, and their inn. And it looked like El, at least had found another friend. She didn't wish to intrude. But she also didn't want to be alone. The very thought of it frightened her.

"I don't want to cause you any more problems then I already have." She looked down at her feet, shuffling them nervously. " But if you don't mind me staying with you guys for the night..." She pulled a few coins from a hidden pocket in her robes "I can pay my way."

There was a voice on the waves, a voice....Ah, no! It was not on the waves, it was next to her.

Haveni was so caught in her own thoughts she had not realized that she had company out here.

He spoke of ruin.

"I don't know where Ruin is," she said softly. Her brows furrowed in worry at being recognized. Maybe she should have stayed with them...Would this cause a panic if she was found?

But, he said he wanted to hunt Ruin. A cold chill crawled its way up her arms and spine. If she did somehow find Ruin, and merge with her...if that alone didn't kill her, was she to be hunted the rest of her life? Was she to be hunted now, since she and Ruin looked exactly alike? Needless to say, they were indeed the same person.

"I-I'm sorry..." she mumbled. Don't put the puzzle together, she thought. Don't see what I am.

She found herself feeling startled, as if she wanted to run away. Would be difficult on this sand, though, and even though this one was being quite polite.

She saw pale out of the corner of her eye. Giving a quick glance back, she saw Aeos there, and she met his gaze with almost pleading eyes.

A Cerberus, Chimera, trotted out onto the beach. On it's back rode a glowing pink lantern... a Poe. The far right head of the beast seemed to be dozing. The head always had bouts of narcolepsy. The far left head of the Cerberus wrenched itself towards their back. It snipped at the lantern.

"...We're here." It growled rudely, snapping and chomping in an attempt to scare the Poe off.

The middle head snipped in by biting the other's ear. "Be nice to our guest." A female voice cooed affectionately, licking where she just bite. "Poor Chou would never had made it here without our help."

It was true. The group was far from home. The quartet typically dwelt deep in the Lost Woods very near the Lost Village. But, something called them here to Priyal. And it was not just the ocean air and sandy beaches.... something ominous was on the horizon. Chou had demanded the trip. She needed a new place to practice her mischief and this place just happened to be calling her.

Chou's lantern stayed put. There was no way so dog's head was going to scare her away. Especially not Chimera's. She had known the trio for far too long to be effected in such a way of the left head's poor manners. She just pulled her body from her lantern and hissed in response, then smiled to the middle brain.

"... Thank you." Her words carried no compassion, but it was the best the angry little poe could muster. Chou cackled a little and commanded the Cerberus.

"Mush! To the waves!"

Heaving a silent sigh, Azra'iel realized his sudden vehemence had probably frightened the poor girl.
She was hunching her shoulders slightly, as if trying to hide herself.
Relaxing his stance and looking down at the pale Constellation, he offered a rueful smile.

"My apologies milady, I did not mean to make you feel at fault.
You have no need to apologize to me. You are the wronged party here; I just..."

Raising a hand to his neck, Azra'iel tugged lightly at the blindfold that lay there, drawing the female's attention to it.
Golden eyes gazed out into the distance.

"I was a guide of souls. I had given up my sight so as to be an impartial one.
But I have failed in my duty... you see, I cannot rescue those touched by Ruin's curse.
I have given up my vows now. I do not begrudge any creature it's existence;
but I cannot stand seeing so many in pain. As you appear to be now!
I apologize again miss, I am certain you did not care to hear all of that!"

Following the direction of her gaze, Azra'iel noted the other Constellation, waiting at the edge of the sand, watching them.
Noticing how dark it had become, he summoned a soft ghost light to his palm and offered his arm and another, gentler smile.

"May I assist you back to your companion? It is the least I can offer for having been so rude."

Stumbling quickly forward in an attempt to prevent his face from becoming acquainted with the ground,
Ramial scurried to obey the dark Constellation. That cape had been known to eat people... ridiculous... wasn't it?
He slipped into the Inn and behind the counter, reluctantly hanging his lantern on a hook
and moving back around the counter, ready to assist settling the group into their rooms.
Most of the time he just ran messages, but he was also asked to sometimes carry bags or serve meals...
he liked being helpful.

Taking the keys from the Innkeeper, Ramial was mildly surprised by the rooms that had been given to the group.
They were at the back or the Inn, across from each other by a door that opened into the back garden.
The twilif wondered vaguely if they had requested to be away from the bustle of the inn
or if his master wanted the group away from his customers. Oh well, wasn't his business!

Turning back to the dark Constellation and offering the keys, he spoke up nervously.

"Sir, may I help you carry anything to your rooms? Or would you like to just take the keys?
A meal will be served shortly in the dining room, or if you prefer I can bring it to your rooms.
And ....should I have apologized to your cape as well?"

The twilif's hand shot up to cover his mouth, horrified and yet...
masochistically amused that THAT particular thought had managed to escape!

Fulmine shook his head. "You've been no trouble at all. That boy.. He's a traveler, who used to frequent my sibling's inn, just until recently. Noel's fond of him, but the last time he left, he never returned, and Noel was crushed. He's a threat to Noel's heart.." His protective side came to light, and a small, almost inaudible growl escaped his throat. But he stopped it, shaking his head.

"So.. What shall we do now? I'm sure your sister, too, is looking for you, so maybe she'll comes to the temple as well..?"

(meh im gonna skip it xD)

Before the two phyries realize she was behind them a flash crossed her eyes. Azhure. She was really near and she had company. Cempa closed her eyes and saw something, images passed by then for just a second she saw a more familia sight: a temple. Azhure must be near a temple!
"temple... a temple!" she turned around and started running, stopping from time to time to ask for directions. Afer quite a while at the distance she spotted what she though must be it. It looked old and abandoned, yet it's sight brought her feeling of calmness...yes, her sister must be somewhere near.
"Azhure! Azhure sister!! sister dearest where are you?" she cared not that everyone was lookign at her now, th eonly thing she cared about was finding her beloved twin.

Frei stepped inside the Inn, basket in hand, a little startled at the familiar faces that were beginning to weave their way out of the woodwork. They were the ones with Haveni. But he hadn't seen her with them at all. He gulped. He already had a room, so there was no need to stop by the counter. But the dark cloaked figure garnered his attention. He couldn't help but stare for just moment. There was an unsettling familiarity about the stranger in front of him. He fiddled with his belongings, and managed to produce a key. Perhaps it was best if he just went to his room. But then what would he do?

Ashdel shook his head, mouth turning down to a tiny frown; although he'd expected that, he was still a little disappointed. Yet, he could see it easily from Larkin's point of view. Larkin was much more adventurous than him in the exploring sense, but he wasn't one to mingle with true danger. Only a fool would do that. At least, that was what Ashdel had been told.

"Alright," he conceded, casting his eyes to the ground. "Yes, Mother would never allow it. And she's been quite keen on watching us." A soft sigh escaped his lips, which he quickly pressed into a thin line. "Let's go see the ocean, then."

Tightening his grip on Larkin's hand, Ashdel sprinted forward, stopping once to quickly deposit his lantern on the dry part of the sand. When his feet skirted cold water and foam he stopped fully, admiring the way it lapped up against his ankles and swept back. So this was the ocean.

He snorted, the sound being almost contemptuous. Well, that was no surprise, someone didn't trust him. Not that he blamed her. He had the feeling he had a sort of... dishonest face, or perhaps demeanor. It was interesting, the way she refused to look at anything but his knees; were they that interesting?

"Why?" he asked, hands resting comfortably on his hips. He rocked back gently, using his heels to support his body so he could peer at the sky. After a pause, he sighed, as if in thought.

"Well, I suppose because you looked hungry," he responded, landing forward with a light 'tap' and a crooked smile. "Or was I supposed to have a more creative reason? I suppose I could come up with one, should the lady wish it."

With a flick of his wrist, a brightly-colored ball appeared in his hand, and he let it roll up his arm and to the other. It reflected light in an array of colors, tumbling cheerfully down his shoulders and arm, but once it hit his other hand, it at once grew black. This he now held out to her, the ball poised on the tip of a finger.

"And do you want this ball?" he asked, voice growing quiet. "I fear it has grown black... perhaps it is trying to tell me something." A slow, strange smile took place on his features, and he snapped his fingers. The ball bloomed into color once more, now resting on the ground between them. It was a game, and he was excited to see how she would respond, although he tried not to make this clear to his new acquaintance.

"'tis not food, I'm afraid. But perhaps there is more where that bread came from?" He tilted his head to the side, eyeing her.

Aeos could tell the conversation had taken an odd turn from the expression on Haveni’s face. He didn’t want to
interrupt considering it would be fairly forward of him. However, when the female’s eyes turned towards him, Aeos
stepped forward a step, feet sinking into the sand uncomfortably, ready to defend from any… well, not justice,
because their cause was rather the opposite of that, wasn’t it?

His gaze dipped low, realizing belatedly that he was being watched. Wings fluttered open, body jerking a little to
the side with a blink. A familiar black twilif stood there, having been hidden by the side of his hood. She made him
slightly uneasy, but he remembered her vaguely from the festival before—when Ruin had been awakened.

The ice constellation shifted uncomfortably, but didn’t make a move towards Haveni. He continued to regard Rylia
for a moment, before his eyes narrowed slightly. “What do you want?”

Seir watched the twilif ramble on. It was rather amusing, even more so when the last question was posed. He
resisted the urge to laugh, amused at where the child’s mind lurked. Man-eating capes, indeed…

“Perhaps, though it’s rather too late now. I must admit that you should stay away and out of dark places in fear it
would jump you in some dark corner or something,” he mused, almost seriously but rather indulgently. Seir eyed
the Innkeeper for a moment before taking the keys from the twilif, fingers dangling the shiny objects. He glanced
over at his group, now missing two people. “Dinner… I think we’ll prefer to have it brought to our rooms.” The dark
constellation clicked his tongue.

“We’ve had a long travel, after all, and we’ve much to do.”

Her gaze drifted back to the light golden one in front of her. She bit her lip and raised a hand to her cheek; a habit she had whenever she was embarrassed.

Wistera eyes drifted the sand at which she had cast her gaze, and back to the one before her. "H..Haveni." she whispered in a fragile voice. "T-that's my name."

She rolled the information he had given he about in her mind for a moment. "You believe me to be in pain?" her mouth had curled into a very small smile, but her expression was not wry or grim, but more so thoughtful.

She wasn't sure herself if it was pain she felt, but more so an emptiness in her heart. But of course she would feel as if she was not whole, of course, of course....

"And..you are hunting..Ruin?"

Rylia was unsure if what she was doing would lead to something bad or not, but she wore a blank expression as she had during the festival. She smiled around Kiru of course, but she found that she she couldn't muster much past a frown or a blank expression around others. She'd have to work on that so that others didn't get the wrong idea. She found herself staring more then anything at the ice constellation, noting that he probably didn't see her because of her height or maybe she had blended in with her surroundings? Possibly not. Not on a beach anyway. An extreme contrast to the sand.

From where she could, she could see Haveni and the other figure from the corner of her eye, finding listening to them far easier while watching for what the winged constellation was going to do. She noticed at first that he had stepped forward, probably trying to go to Haveni's aid. Sounded like she was trying to get his attention from the way the conversation was going nearby. But then his body jerked rather then moved smoothly forward. She didn't say anything as he looked at her before speaking. She looked up as he spoke as, her face still expressionless as she stared.

Moving one of her hands, she tapped the moon-shaped pendant against her chest three times. "Rylia" she said simply just as she did back at the festival and then moved her hand and pointed at Aeo's. "Your name. Is what I want." she said clearly before lowering her hand down to her side. "If thats not too much. I never caught it back at the festival..." she added, stopping her sentence at that point. There was more she wanted to add of course, but she would leave that matter for a much...later date if she could. She didn't know the circumstances of the group and she wasn't about to try and start something. At least...she wasn't planning to. From behind, at least from what she heard, it didn't seem like Haveni needed assistance as dire as before.

Alberon blinked at her slowly, as if the poor little thing had completely forgotten his name. Glancing over his shoulder curiously, peering as if expecting to be watched from afar, the small childish gleam filling his gaze as he looked back to the horned twilif, sure he was safe. "Shhh..dont tell my daddy I told you, but my name is Alberon..hee hee..I'm not supposed to be talking ta stranges an stuff..just supposed to go play in the surf before it gets way to dark to be seen and all the mean sharks come out to gobble me up!" he held his finger to his lips, his voice dipped as low to a whisper as it could get considering how loudly he usually spoke.

"You know..the sharkys..mean snappy things, daddy says If I play out too late in the water they'll come up and eat me right up! Nom.." he laughed happily pointing to the puddle once more, tail swishing and feet fidgeting beneath him. He haaad to knowwww..
