"You remember the part of my history that i wont talk about? Yea well i guess this is as good a time as any. You ever wonder how a normal human can shift and have ever lasting life? Well thats because of a curse from a very powerful demon. He kept me locked up as his play toy for centurys. Thats how i know what demons feel like. When i managed to escape i had to make a deal. In order for him to let me leave i had to let him curse me to an eternal life until such time as i figure out what the key to getting rid of the curse is." Dian'Chet looks very upset by this point. Like he's reliving part of his life.

October gave Dian'Chet a hug. She knows it's hard to reveal a part of their past. She had never revealed any of her past to anyone. Very few knew about her family. "You gonna be alright?" She was very concerned. Her and Dian'Chet had been friends for years. He was the only one who would talk to her in the beginning.

Dian'Chet snapped out of it as soon as October hugged him. "Yea im gonna be fine. It takes more than some demons to scare me. So what do you think we should do?"

"Well I know no demons will scare ya but what if it's the same one that had you? I mean will you be able to kill him? And if that's the case will you stay immortal?" She was very concerned. She didn't want to lose another friend. Especially Dian'Chet. It wouldn't be fair.

"Well i could've killed him when i escaped but he had the rest of his army to keep me from doing so. He's a coward. Now as for staying immortal. Im not sure which way that would go. Though where as i've been looking to become normal for so long now, I'm not sure if i would like that now." He looks over at her and seems to be looking right into her soul.

October looked at him. Trying to meet his gaze. "What do you mean you don't know?" She was really confused. Dian'Chet had always wanted to become normal for as long as she could remember. Why would he want to change that now? She looked at him trying to read his movements and his words. Sadly she was having no luck. It was like he had a barrier up that blocked her from seeing what he really felt or what he really wanted.

"How can you be sure about that? I mean what will happen if he has come for you again?" She was really worried. She didn't want to lose one of the only really person she cares about in this school besides her family. "I'll be ready to fight by your side.

"You have no idea how much that means to me. And i dont think he even knows im here." Dian'Chet starts to pace a little bit and pulls out a pack of cigarettes. "Want one?"

"Nah I got mine." She stood up and walked over towards him. "Sit down. You're gonna put an indent on the floor from pacing." She put her hands around his neck. "Please calm down."

Dian'Chet took a long drag off of his cig and sat down. "Your right. I need to calm down. Otherwise im gonna end up wasting all my energy."
