I'm at a part I didn't even KNOW existed. =3
They have this level in a book, see, and it's 15...by what I read...and you lose this soul fire and you die while going 15 levels and some floors disable some of your abilties and such.
There are special character endings? oO?
I've gotten a few costumes. yaay!
and by what I read, it was also for PS2...which that has a few different things than the GC version. ^^ yeah, it is also for the PS2, but it's only in Japanese. So...unless you know Japanese, you'll have no idea what everyone is saying xd No, It never came out for the PS2, your thinking of Tales of Rebirth which was going to be released for the PS2 (has nothing in common with ToS storyline wise) but It was scrapped and canceled the came Namco shipped for the PS2 is Tales of Legendia, not as good as ToS in my opinon abit too childish cel graphics. Yes there are infact different endings, two of the most commons ones are one with Zelos, and one without (because you killed him after picking Kratos to talk to etc.) Theres tha ti've gotten when Sheena and Lloyd have the highest relationship between the characters which took me three times through the game to get it that high, can't remeber it but it was quite funny No, I've seen special Japanese versions of ToS and unique cutscenes. I even have the Japanese opening song for the game. It might not have been released for any of us though...it might only exist in Japan sweatdrop Yeah, I've gotten the relationship thingy with almost everyone xd It can be very amusing. Once I got it with Presea and I was like, "Woah eek This is......interesting......." Indeed, Tales of Legendia's graphics aren't as good as Tales of Symphonia's. In fact, I like the storyline in ToS MUCH more than the one in ToL (though ToL was a good game, I just didn't like it as much). One of the aspects I liked most in ToS was how well you got to know the characters. Many people can relate to the vast majority of the characters. Heck, I can relate to Mithos pretty well. Not to spawn an arguement, there was not PS2 version of ToS, their weas indeed a Japanese GCN verison, (Same game completely on difference its in Japanese and the intro music is Stary Heaven, good song by the way but nothing else) But thats about it o.o; good game get the CD, don't be cheap and pirate it just buy it, i know its hard to find but the four CD set it awesome There is a PS2 version, but it's only in Japanese and I've heard that there are several differences between the GameCube and PS2 versions. I love this game to bits! I've beaten it once, but I'm planning to replay it to see all of the different endings and get everyone's titles. Raine's my favorite character, and I usually battle as Lloyd (I switch who I walk around as a LOT), but I like all of the characters (although Regal hits near the bottom of the list, and Colette can be really annoying at times with her klutzy stupidity).

I LOVE TALES OF SYMPHONIA, its one of the best RPG's ever! in my opinion, the story it well thoguth out and flawless the cell shaded graphics look stunning, and even down to the voice acting, its all brilliant, and it took me 43hours to complete, and guess what? im playing it through a secondtime, if you aint got it, GET IT NOW!
Also Sheena is my favourite charcter, from the mystical village Mizuho, and corrine is soooooo CUTE!

Tales of Symphonia is probably one of the best games ever made. Right now i'm playing mania and am not trying to use any gels which makes it even harder. I played mania under my best account, against Mithos, and he uses Genis' Special move "Indignation Judg." It killed me (as Lloyd) and Kratos.

I love tales of symphonia, and beat it twice! i love genis and presea the most. I play as lloyd though because I'm the best as him. I'm also okay with presea. its the best game ever! cool that theyre coming out with an anime!

OMG! I'm actually in the middle of playing this right now!!! I am stuck and it upsets me... So can anyone help???
Anywho, the game overall is really fun. Can get redunant sometimes, but always redeems itself with it's plot. SO FUN!

Sometimes in video games, the main character(s) have very little personality development, but in Tales of Symphonia, all of the main characters are well-developed, and they each develop a distinctly unique personality, complete with strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, a past that affects their choices, and personality quirks. It helps you get attached the characters, be able to relate to them, and make you want to continue so you know what'll happen to them in the end, as well as to simply beat the game.
