The young genin looked to his genin partner. "Let's go Fenrir. We should take seperate paths at first, we won't get it right at first. We meet up after our first journey, and try and get to the second one together. Hopefully the lag will be there." Airi, the hand, said. Rin then jumped away and made his way quickly down the hallway of the arena, making it outside. He then headed to the gates.

(The exams started right? They announed the teams...)

Namezan reached the roof, his 'eyes' scanning the horizon, taking in the myriad sounds that painted themselves across his inner world. The patterns were... strange, yet almost hypnotic. The wind seemed to be following strange patterns, looping and following invisible switchbacks that made the entire area look as if the wind were outlining the wings of a giant butterfly...

Shigoro stepped out onto the upper level of the arena, smiling at the Kages. "Hello, sirs. I have come as a representative of Shivedul, Vega, and Hatsure, Incorporated, to witness the combat today. My employers are most interested in the up-and-coming shinobi, as they may be willing to hire a few at some point. For an appropriate price, of course."

He extended his finger and a thin blue rose sprouted from the tip, unfolding to reveal an exquisite blue butterfly with gossamer patterns on its wings, which moved slowly up and down in the sunlight. "Such beautiful creatures... so ephermal, yet so strong."

He flicked his finger lightly and the butterfly shot off like a bullet, its wings pulled back behind it in a form more remeniscient of a hawk than of a butterfly. Shigoro's mouth barely seemed to move, but the words were plainly heard throughout the entire room. "Kill, Tease."

The butterfly apparently heard the command, for its entire torso opened, revealing a maw that seemed to be taken from some kind of obscene fusion of a dog and a snake. It snapped at a bird which had not noticed it until it was too late. The brief screech was abruptly cut off as the butterfly that Shigoro had called Tease turned and fluttered back to his hand, slightly swollen but docile. "Forgive the demonstration, but my employers believe that eliminating the competition is the best course of action. Rather short-sighted, but they are willing to pay handsomely for the privilege of hiring sufficient skill to ensure such an outcome."

Smiling slightly, he turned to look down into the arena. The Tease flapped its wings on his shoulder, and the mouth opened again to spit out a few off-white feathers.

Ayame rolled her eyes."Even though thatd be really funny to see,and I mean really funny,I wont tell Emiko."She said.She closed her eyes."I can take care of myself.Thats just something Captain Tarzan needs to understand.You wont be able to in this Tarzan."She said.

Ayame threw him a half gourd of sake.She smirked."Tarzan."She said."Oh and monkey can you TRY to lay off the sake?Just a little?Im starting to think you bathe in it."She said.

Nawaki would stand up looking at around he decied that this would be a good time to look for his teammates. "This should be a good time to look for my teammates."

Jima looked to the sky. "Was that the doggy?" He had heard the slight howl. It was vague, but he made it out. Matsuya shrugged, keeping silent. Jima turned his attention back to translating Matsuya's movements. "Mat-san said...... that he only got the summoning for one reason. But he wont tell me why. Its strange." Jima waved a small hand infront of Matsuya's face. "Maaaat-san. You alive? I dont think Nee-san would forgive me if you died like this. I dont think Nee-san will forgive me for even being here."

Ayame nodded."Just telling me he'll be back soon."She said."Yea Mat-san.You look dead."She manipulated some water and dropped it on him."You better stay alive."She said.

Matsuya raised his hand, drawing the water to it. He let it fall to the ground. Jima was rolling around laughing on his shoulder. "Mat-san got wet!" He stopped rolling. "Mat-san, I didnt realize you were a.." Matsuya's hand flew to Jima's mouth. MAtsuya shook his head. "Im sowwy Mat-san." Jima's words were muffled, but still hearable. Matsuya set him back on his shoulder, letting him rest there. Jima started twirling his tail, getting bored.
