[ ȤęҟνƴƦ ] {Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.} [Castle Oblivion > Wonderland] Light! It was far brighter here than in the castle, although, to a normal eye, the difference was most likely minimal, and hardly a bother. To Zekvyr, it was almost unbearable. The colors made it all the worse. He instinctively put a hand up to shield his eyes, a helpless gesture that was out of place coming from him. "...I shall find Alice...You can go have fun with the inhabitants, hm?" Zekvyr visibly stiffened at that. His eyes were taking their precious time adjusting, but he didn't need sight to understand Fal'navi was likely giving him a condescending glance. "Also, make sure you leave some for the Heartless." There was no denying that was an order. Zekvyr was sore tempted to attack him right then and there, take his life, slowly, no one would know, they were far from the castle. Fortunately, time and experience had tempered such rash actions. Zekvyr held his peace. He dipped a respectful bow, even. "As you wish," was all he replied. By all appearances, he was deferring to the leader of the mission.

[Fal'Navi] "...The shadows beckon." [Wonderland] "So formal. I wouldn't expect one of your kind to be so willing to listen." Fal'navi commented, and with a devillish smirk, two onyx wings made of pure dark energy sprouted from the Dragoon's back. "And with our friendly banter over, I'll track down this 'Alice' girl. You can go shed blood...or whatever these creatures are made of." He took a deep breath, and leaped into the air, gliding off to who knows where.

"What is this, a creature of the wood?" [Traverse Town: biggrin istrict One] "Oh hello hume." Nalo slowed his petting of the bird and turned his attention to Solaris. "Why this is a creature of the wood. It's called a chocobo and this one seems to have strayed from the wood." Nalo turned back to the chocobo. "This one is rather unusual, but he can't help that, can you big guy? You're just a big ball of love. My name's Nalo. What's yours, hume child?" Nalo glanced back to the young man again before continuing to groom and fawn over the chocobo.

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}
[Traverse Town : First District] Grumbling something under his breath about an 'old koot', Soryuju turned and gave a brief apology to the two of them, another polite bow. "So, perhaps you'd like to catch a bite to eat? Hef and I went 'Heartless whacking' in the Third District, and I sort of worked up an appetite. Maybe we can talk about what we know over some food at the diner?"
He motioned over toward the nearby diner, which was open walled except for the kitchen. They had candles lit on all the tables, and a few patrons eating. "The chefs can make pretty much anything you want- they come from all over."

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}
[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen] Vereor merely released a brief chuckle at Zekvyr's response, knowing the male to be one of the most twisted amongst them. The drow was borne of Chaos, and lived for Chaos- as a matter of fact, it had not been Vereor to convince Zekvyr to join them, but his... counter-part, which he only brought about in certain instances. His skills were possibly some of the most valuable to the Conclave.
"I'll play a game of chess with you, Haruko," he replied, sitting on the side with the Nobody pieces (the pieces that went second; the Heartless pieces went first, despite being black and the Nobody pieces being white) before pouring himself a second cup of tea. "If you'd like a challenge, of course."

[ ȤęҟνƴƦ ] {Don't fear the dark... fear what's in it.} [Wonderland] You obviously know nothing about my kind, Zekvyr thought, but did not say, his face a careful mask of difference. He was amused. Granted, he was also angry -the piece of ogre feces had just insulted him- but more amused then anything else. Apparently, Fal'navi thought himself superior. That was amusing. Now... Zekvyr looked around at his surroundings. Heartless had already started to gather. They were attracted to him, it seemed. He sent out the call, nonetheless, the desire for evil, and watched the Heartless pour in by the score. He was standing in a strange sort of forest now. Fal'navi had taken off in that direction, but he had the suspicion it wasn't quite correct. This place was like a maze. There was more than one way to get where you were headed. Sending the Heartless out to destroy, Zekvyr began his search. For Alice.

ᾼγζᾲ & ΘяῥђɐʋϨ [Current Location: Traverse Town - Second District] “Death is just a new beginning.” It didn't take the undead man very long to recover his arm. Sprinting through the second district, Orpheus than scalled the building with an amazing agility, leaping from the street, to the windowsill, then the awning, and bouncing upon it to the roof with practiced ease. For an undead, he was far more agile than one would expect, but then again, the undead weren't able to speak, nor seem to have any form of knowledge at all. He was unique, built as Ayla's servant from flesh and bone over the years through numerous improvements. Originally a servant for the family when he was brought back, he now had a bond with Ayla that made him what he was now, not just an undead minion, but a person with a second chance at life, and it was because of this second chance that made him always such a giddy person, never losing his smile.
"Found it master!" Orpheus cheered from the roof across the second district of Traverse town, using his one hand to pick up the left arm that had been dismembered from him, and waving it in an amusing manner, like he was a dog wishing for being praised for his good work. Then, he would easily leap down from the roof, darting along the second district in wide, leaping steps, before dashing up the roof of the hotel. Even this became an art, nearly running up the wall as he went from a window, to the handrail of the second floor, and finally on the roof. "I did good, right master? Right~?"Ayla didn't seem to speak though, simply taking the multi-colored flesh arm filled with stitches, moving her lips just a little. As she did, Orpheus seemed to perk a little, shaking his head somewhat."Aww... but master, it's not my fault. We messed up the teleportation, that's all."Again, she moved her lips, no words coming from her, but Orpheus seemed to hear her all the same as she reached into the pocket of her skirt, removing what looked to be a black needle with thread already looped through it."Okay master.. I understand. Maybe we should try that way~?" And with that, he pointed his right hand, while Ayla was stitching on the left, towards an entrance that read 'Third District.' While he did, Ayla plunged the needle into his arm that was separated after rolling up the sleeve, connecting it like it was simply clay. She was precise and quick, sewing the needle through his flesh while a few drops of his strangely black colored blood spilled on the edge of her white skirt, not caring at all from this as she continued. It would take a few minutes, so the two remained on the roof of the Hotel, but she focused on her work silently and efficiently, silently planning out what there next move would be on this strange world.“But life is just something meant to end.”

{Ooo goody.... What are we torturing today [Castle Oblivion; Kitchen] Haruko giggled at Vereors challenge and set up the board with her having the Heartless pieces and the Nobody pieces on Vereors side. "This will be fun..! Aria won't have any fun with me these days..." She then placed her hand on her Neoshadow and moved it two spaces. She then waited for Vereor to make his move. This was not an orindinary game of chess in the least. She wanted to see if Vereor could figure out which piece was which and what would happen if two pieces faced off. She giggled more with anticipation and drank more of her tea with extra sugar.

[Souzourou] {Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}
[Traverse Town :: Hotel -> second district]
Souzourou jumped a bit with the kick to his shin, then chuckled as she closed her door. He sat on his bed, and was beginning to relax, when he heard footsteps on the roof. He heard them move across the roof, andstop somewhere on the building. He ran out of the room, locking the door behind him, and over to a hallway window, which he looked out, but could not get a good angle. He ran outside and looked up, at this point seeing two figures on the roof, one of which he could hear talking, but couldn't make out any particular words. He strained his eyes to see them,but the darkness didn't help.

.: Traverse Town | Second District | Red Room † ________ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ ¯ [Bollocks.] The pyro-gunner was just finishing with the lacing on her new top when she heard the faint thud of footsteps on her roof. Still grumbling after the events from days past (she really needed to learn how to let things go), she dumped her now worthless clothing (she never wore the same thing twice, and never for more than a couple of hours) in the corner of the room. Kazanmachi could dispose of them later.
Lifting a leg onto the chair, she simultaneously slipped a foot into a boot and yelled at her companion to, "tell the drunkards to cut the racket and get lost!". Orielle had already heard Souzourou's footsteps in the hallway and the sliding of a window, but she'd take any excuse just to yell at him.
'Stupid half-assed idiosyncratic conniving b*****d!! [Absolute bollocks.]

[[Vain]] "Enough cat and mouse." ___[Traverse Town .:. First District]
Vain stopped and thought for a moment, the images of the recently destroyed Poeres still fresh in his mind. "... Yeah. Though I would think forgetting it a blessing. Only painful memories come with the scenery of that world."Vain, are we forgetting something? If he knows we came from another world, he might know what those things were that attacked Poeres.
Vain nodded slightly before saying, "What are the black creatures? The ones with yellow eyes? They appeared on Poeres on the hour of its destruction, so it would be ludicrous to assume they had nothing to do with it."

[Ölüm]
(Unfortunately, there is not a fleck of remorse within me.)
[Castle Oblivion : Kitchen]
After quietly drinking his tea with humble delight, Ölüm spoke softly as to change the mood that the last conversation left. He was not one to break the calm of the morning as he himself disliked waking up to things such as being jumped on, loud noises, and the smells of other people's breath in his face from being so close to him.
"Aria, it would be rather nice if I could accompany you to Traverse Town. I would love to get a little bit of blood on my fingers if you would be so obliged."

ᾼγζᾲ & ΘяῥђɐʋϨ [Current Location: Traverse Town - Second District] “Life itself is just a curse before death.” With careful precision, Ayla had continued to stitch the arm back in in a perfect harmony. Pushing the needle in through the dead skin, going under, pulling out, and threading, all in a single motion and with a rythem, it was like the morbid girl had done this a thousand times, and found peace from this sort of thing. And truth was, that was completely accurate, as Ayla had lived much longer than her appearance showed, and done surgeries like this countless times before.
There was only one major difference though; a surgery was nothing quite like what Ayla was doing. With nothing but a needle and thread, the severed arm had reattached itself like it was never seperated in the first place, the stitches themselves even fading into Orpheus's undead flesh. And then, in seconds, he was able to move it, perfectly fine despite what had just happened, like a curaga spell had just mended everything, leaving her undead servant as good as new."Praise for master! Thank you~" And with that, Orpheus had literally lurched foward, and wrapped his arms around Ayla in a tight hug. It looked a little odd, seeing a grown looking man hugging a small girl so tightly, almost... disturbing, especially with that smile on his face. But truth be told, he did this a lot, he always found his 'master' to be absolutely cute, and often had trouble resisting from glomping 'cute things.'Ayla didn't seem to enjoy this very much, but then again, the girl never really smiled anyway, just standing there, stiff, her hands at her side and waiting for him to inevitable let go. He usually did this for about three to five seconds before he did, and so, she just silently sighed, waiting for him too. However, it was a noise she heard that made her murky gray eyes open a little more than usual from her dull stare, and stiffen, Orpheus seeming to notice this as well. Immediattly, her lips moved, but again, there was no words, at least, not any heard, yet Orpheus seemed to understand clearly."Yes Master... I think you're right." Even though the situation became a bit more tense when Ayla pointed out someone was here, Orpheus didn't seem bothered, quite the opposite, he had to do everything in his power to hide his excitement. And then, as he immediattly released Ayla, he would then leave her bag of supplies on the roof, watching as Ayla drew her bone-made shortbow and readied herself, while he leapt down from the roof, already getting his claws that were hidden inder his massive black sleeves ready if it was an enemy. "Whoo-ha~!" Leaping off the roof with surprising finesse and a cheer, Orpheus didn't seem to fear the fact that he was leaping from two stories, and down to the awning. He bounced off it on the way down, doing a somersault, before landing in front of Souzourou, but with his back turned to him. It wasn't seen since his back was turned, but for a moment, Orpheus flicked his tongue out, and then, he bent his back to look behind him. Bending so far, there was suddenly a snap in his back as the cheerful undead man bent to the point that was was practically shaped like an inverted L tetris block, his face upside down, and one hand holding his hat to keep it from falling while he looked at the slightly tan skinned human. Oddly enough though... Orpheus didn't have any eyes, just a patch of darkened skin where they should be, but he still turned his head while he was bent back far enough, like he actually did have eyes and could see him. It would have been amusing to see Orpheus this way, looking at the man upside down like he had as his hair swayed down from gravity, but the lack of eyes and how unnatural the shades of skin and stitchwork he had along his face made it more disturbing than amusing. "Well, hello there~ Have you come to play with me?" He asked with an oh-so-cheerful tone, somewhat deviant as if the undead half-elf was plotting something.“But Death itself is a new life entirely.”

{[Elde]} "Why does fortune...seem to strike the most kindhearted people? Is everything just pre-ordained?"
.:[Traverse Town: First District]:. Elde rubbed the back of his head. He supposed Vain had a point about the benefit of not remembering, but of course Vain probably didn’t get a strange vision of his own death on his way here. As Vain asked about the heartless Elde sat down casually at a vacant table in the diner and waited to be served. It was an all to familiar spot for him. The place where he had ended up when he first arrived. Where he had met Jack.
“Those things would be the heartless, and yes they can be quite ruthless. They’re made of darkness and try to steal people’s hearts, that’s about all I know, it’s sort of a mystery I guess. One things for sure they’re the source of everyone’s problems around here.”

: - {άℓєχάηdѓά} - : |My allegiance lies with no one, but I am no bounty hunter.| : - {Traverse Town : First District - Roof Tops} - : Alex's palms itched, and she scratched at them impatiently. The sword leaning against her left shoulder seemed to hum in agreement. She'd been sitting on this roof top for too long. She'd been in Traverse Town too long, as well, thought she couldn't remember what she came here for, other than a rest stop and some yellow eyed shadow hunting. A light breeze picked up her long hair and carried out in front of her. The girl stared out at the tops of the roofs, still scratching at her palms.
Her sapphire eyes looked out distantly, and she involuntarily rolled her left shoulder. A flicker of black flashed across her eyes and for a moment her face took on a much darker look. Her hair flipped across her face a second later and the look was gone, but her eyes seemed darker for a second longer.
She needed to go do something, but from the chatter below, some one already got to the Second District Daemon - or Heartless as the locals called them -. She wondered if there were still some roaming the Third District. Alex stood up, sliding her claymore into its scabbard across her back. She jumped from the railing, falling to the roof below her. She caught a gutter as she slid down the roof tiles and gingerly dropped down in front of the diner with a light thud.
Her left shoulder twinged for a moment and she winced, gently rotating it. The claw marks had never really healed, and every time she fought, it would inevitably reopen in some way. She sighed and pulled her sword out of its scabbard, resting it against her right shoulder. With a crack of her neck, she walked off towards the doors to the Second District, wanting to take the long way around.
| I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I am your girl.|
