Fenrir bounds back to True, "Found some 'Bea Tea' whatever that is, it's keeping warm on the stove."

True smiles at his companion and pats his head. "Well then, Take the end of this rope, and I'll go start a fire in the house." Fenrir nods taking his position at the rope, as true collects some wood from the shed, pockets something, and heads into the house

Wolfie glanced over her shoulder at Fenrir and then back at Lion. "Looks like we have a little help in store. Woot!" Wolfie handed a length of the rope to Fenrir by giving it a quick kick in his direction. She was too afraid to let go even with one hand, she didnt wish to drop Lion. She had been through enough.

"Great idea Neverborn. See if we can get it roaring?" She smiled and nodded at him. "Not sure if the chimney has been cleaned so you might want to take a look up it with a flashlight or something. I beleive there is one on the mantle. We dont want to cook no livestock that didnt mean to be cooked."

Wolfie suddenly gets the feeling that Fenrir had said something about Bea Tea. "Fenrir, whos watching the stove?" She passed him a worried glance.

((Neverborn, can you remember to OCC which thread you are going to if you hop back and forth with a single post in each thread at a time? Easier to follow you. 'Porch' or 'CR' or "Kitchen' or some other abbreviation is fine in parenthesis as long as we can follow))

Lion struggled a little with the rope, And looked up "Ok Wolfie I think I'm ready to come up there now. "Thanks for helping me!"

Fenrir takes hold of the rope, being careful not to approach any closer then he was required, remembering Wolfie's previous comment.

"No worries Lion! I'm ready!" Looks calmly to Wolfie, almost as if asking, **am I doing well?** but instead says, "On your word." Fenrir's brow furrows in anticipation of yet MORE physical labor.

((Wolfie, I give you temporary control of Fenrir to use for the act of the rope pulling. Have fun! ^_^))

"Okay Lion, here we go!" With a final look over her shoulder at Fenrir, she gave him a solid nod, thankful for his help. It was her worst fear to drop Lion and join her in that hole at this point of the game.

Fenrir spread his feet and took a stance, gripping the rope tighter. "Let's Go!" With a violent jerk, the rope began to slide upwards out of the hole, Lion's weight supported by it. He pulled slowly as to not fray the rope anymore than necessary and to allow her ample time to grip something more suitable than the beam ahead.

"Okay Hun, Fenrir has the line. Im going to let go and reach down for your hands? Okay?"

"Ok, I'm ready." Lion said as she reached up extending one hand to grab on to Wolfie, the other gripped the rope.

Wolfie clamped down on Lion's hand, bracing her feet against the beams and boards. Her heels dug into the hard mud around the opening. With a secure tug, she pulled at Lion, coaxing her to let go of the rope.

Fenrir on the otherhand was having no problem holding the weight of the tiny girl (compared to him of course) from falling back into the pit. His claws dug into the mud, much the same as Wolfie. Slowly he pulled one hand over the other on the rope, lessening the slack between Lion and the surface. Slowly the line grew taught again.

"Put some back into it!" He called to Wolfie. "Im not going to stand here in the cold all day."

Wolfie just rolled her eyes and tugged again at Lion. "C'mon hun, we've got you. Just think of the nice cozy fire inside with all those warm blankets and a nice cup of Bea tea."

Lion looked up at Wolfie. "Ok here goes. I'm letting go of the rope." Lion said, a little fright in her voice. "Please don't drop me!" In one quick motion she let go of the rope and grabbed Wolfie with both hands. Her feet dangled below her. She dared not move them to much. She didn't want Wolfie to get unbalanced and both of them fall. Wolfie was small but her landing ontop of Lion would still hurt. She had enough of the hurt feeling for the last few days. Wolfies mention of the warm fire made Lion fight more to help pull herself up with the help of Fenrir and Wolfie. She knew she was close.

Wolfie was a little suprised Lion actually listened, not that she wasnt expecting it sooner or later. Wolfie knew that if she was in Lion's shoes she would have been a bit frightened at the idea of dangling... not that she hadnt done it before in these parts.

"I got you. Fenrir, pull!" Wolfie yelled excited at the thought of pulling her friend up.

Fenrir nodded and continued to pull the rope into a neat little pile at his feet. Such tedious work for a lazy bum like himself. Why did he always feel so compeled to help these humans? It was not as if they cared for him in the least. He HAD lived in these woods for a time and humans had always seemed a complexing creature. They worked too much and stressed too much and smelled funny. He scrunched up his nose at the thought.

The rope became taught against the beam and he had nowhere else to pull the girl. He stood his ground and awaited a command, preferably one that meant he could go take a nap somewhere and forget about the incoming storm.

"Ally-oop!" Wolfie grinned and swung Lion towards the edge of the hole, hefting her frame up the last couple inches.

Lion steped onto the beam with Wolfies help. "Thank goodness!" She said as she looked down into the hole she was just pulled from. Lion Gave Wolfie a big hug. "Thank you! I don't think I could have stayed down there much longer without going insane!" Lion let go of her friend and walked over to Fenrir. "Thank you for your help." She reached up and placed a friendly hand on his paw. Lion then turned back to Wolfie. "I'm going to go into the house and get warm I'm so cold." Lion walked back over to Wolfie pulling off the hat and mittens Wolfie had given her to wear. "Thank you so much!" Lion turned and headed for the house.

Wolfie limply clung to the items in her hands, unsure of what to do with them. The worst was over and things could return to normal, yet she didnt feel normal.

First of all, there were the colored moonstones. So many of them in such a strange little room. A strange little room that was boarded off from the rest of the house. Secondly, the safe bothered her. What enchantment could possibly be upon it.

She knew, that this could only mean the future of things here at the mansion.

Running through the woods near the old home, Blade glanced over his shoulder for a moment to see if anyone was behind him. Shaking his head, he faced forward once more as he let out a cool breath of air.

He picked up a little speed as he saw a part of the old house further ahead, resulting in him tripping over a root sticking from the ground.

"Oof!" he grunted as he slid on the forest floor.

With a slight groan, he pushed himself up a little. Blade shook his head again while he recovered from that fall. And just as he was about to stand up, something on the ground caught his eyes. When he reached over for it and picked it up, he found that it was a green and gold rock-like thing.

The main color of it reminded him of a piece of jade.

Blinking, he stared at it for a moment before dropping it into his pocket. It just seemed like a strange stone to him, but at the same time, he had a feeling there was something else to it.

Letting out a small sigh, he got up to his feet all the way before dusting himself off. He once more checked over his shoulder right as he jogged over to the nearby home. It was cold out, and this seemed to be the only shelter around. And he really didn't want to have to wander for several miles just to find a place where he could stay and not freeze.

Blade rubbed his arms as he now looked around to see if the owners of this place where anywhere nearby. Seeing no one, he just shrugged and approached the door. For a split second, his hand hovered by the doorknob before he checked to see if it was locked or not. To his surprise, it wasn't.

Shaking his head, he let out another whisp of cool air as he opened the door carefully and entering.

Walking down the road, Bluedemonwolf could just make out a house. She looks around as if searching for someone or something. "Where did he go? I hope he's being careful in this snow." she said. Blue pulls her coat closer to her and continues on her way. As she gets closer she notices a white and pink blur coming towards her. This blur is Eros running towards Blue to tell her the good news. He had found a house. He tried to stop but all he did was slide on the snow. Blue noticed him sliding moonlit was sliding right at her! There was no way for her to get out of his way in time so he plowed right into her, knocking her down. "Well Eros I hope you'll stop running in the snow until you learn how to stop." Blue remarked. "I can't help it you know. You could have gotten out of the way." a hurt Eros thought to Blue using telepathy. Blue stood up brushing the snow off and began to walk towards the house. After a few steps she turned around and looked at Eros as if saying "are you coming?".

After trudging through more snow, they finally made it to the front of the house. Blue looked around and saw faint foot marks in the snow leding to the back. "Well do you smell any fresh scents?" Blue asked. "Yes but it's faint and leading to the back. Should we go back there?" Eros thought to her. Blue nodded and began to walk towards the back. Eros moved to the front and began to make a small path for Blue. When they reached the back they looked around. Eros was the first to see the door. Blue noticed it after she looked at the shed. "Well I guess we can go in and see if anyone lives here. If they don't want us here we'll leave." Blue sighed. She was not looking foward to the possiblity of coming back outside. Eros bounds up the steps to the porch as Blue begins to walk up them. She opens the door and goes inside.
