"I'm Stefan." He reached out to shake her offered hand. His own was a little cool, but not unnaturally so. "You're hurt," he observed then, looking to her arm.
"That's why she's here," Mikhail explained. "I figured you could take a look at it."
Stefan nodded and headed for the other room. "Come on. Into the kitchen, then."

"It's not bad. Just a stupid accident." She felt a bit embarrassed now. Tiegan should have known better than to use that knife and now she had a wound and no knife. She'd have to go buy one from ebay again.
She sat down and lifted up her arm. It looked gross, blood starting to soak through the makeshift sleeve bandage, and the purple and red bruises on her arm made it look even worse.

As Mikhail turned on the light, Stefan rooted around in one of the cabinets under the counter, quickly producing a rather large first aid kit. He did a lot of patching himself up, as a result of his profession, and was more than prepared to treat minor injuries.
"Sit on the counter, please," he instructed Tiegan, as it would make it easier to get a good look at her arm. He set the kit down next to Conan. The cat was positively unbothered.

"Ah, okay." Made sense. She climbed up onto the bench and rested there, glancing back to the cat just a moment, and then to the big first aid kit. "You do this a lot? I mean, treat injuries?"

"Mostly mine," he answered with a grin, "And Mik's, if I can." After washing his hands, Stefan turned to Tiegan to gently remove her makeshift bandage. He really couldn't help but wonder what had happened, but he'd leave it alone for now. Accidents did happen.
Conan finally deigned to pay attention, now that someone was conveniently right next to him. Working up his best purr, he turned his foggy yellow-green eyes to their visitor.

"If you can get close enough..." Tiegan grinned back, and knew that'd probably make Mik grumble too. She was getting strangely used to this grumbliness of him. He was nice besides it.
She was distracted by the rumble of a purr beside her and now, with the cat's permission, she reached down with slow deliberate movements to stroke him, careful to watch where he wanted to be stroked. Cats had claws and teeth to direct humans if the humans didn't pay attention.
Tiegan wondered suddenly where on earth these two would get wounds to require such a big one and he was practiced too. But that was probably not her buisness. After all, just being NEAR a fa'e could result in some pretty weird things.

Stefan laughed. He liked this girl! He was curious how Mikhail might have met her, though. She smelled human, and he was pretty sure the angel didn't go much of anywhere besides Fa'e HQ. The likelihood of his making friends outside of other Fa'e was low.
...should he be pushing him to? Nah, one thing at a time. After having a look at her arm, he started to clean the area, and then the wound itself. "He's nice enough once you get past it."
"Get past what?" Mik demanded, earning another laugh from his guardian.
Conan continued to purr, basking in the attention. It helped that he didn't have to do anything for it - even move!

Owwie, was that alcohol stuff? Or was she just being weak? Tiegan refused to make any sort of pain sounds. She was a bit amused anyway, seeing as Mik's guardian seemed to get something she got, yet Mik didn't seem to get it at all.
"Yeah, I've noticed now." She admitted, a quiet laugh the best she could do as her arm was attacked with stingy cleaning stuff. Tiegan glanced beside her, glad to give the cat affection and rubs, she loved animals. Sometimes she was tempted to stick with the animal type of friend and stay away from the other humans. And grumpy fa'e. She couldn't see Mik behaving like this cat.
Actully, now that she pictured it, she was sort of glad he wasn't doing what this cat did. It sort of was frightening when applied to the fa'e...
Tiegan's attention went back to her arm and she started to chew on her lower lip, feeling a bit nervous. Not that she was weak. She was just a bit nervous. She had a phobia of stitches that exceeded ...well, anything. Till now she'd pretty much been able to put it out of her mind but... "How's it look?" Her voice quivered, just a bit, but Tiegan was starting to feel a bit anxious and hadn't really noticed.

"Oh, you know perfectly well what I mean," he said offhandedly, getting a better look at the wound as he cleaned. He hadn't used alcohol, as it happened, or much of anything else - just water with a little bit of iodine. And then just water, to rinse it away. "It's pretty deep. It could use some stitches."
Mik huffed, pulling a chair out from under the kitchen table to sit on.

"Are you sure? I mean..." Tiegan's face had drained of blood. Ah ********. She'd had stitches sense tingling, like spider sense, that had been what had made her want to yank the arm away as fast as she could while he cleaned it.
"I mean... Oh, look at the time!" Tiegan was suddenly standing. Damn. Damn. "I should go home." The LAST place she'd go was home. The woods. Oh yes, the needleness woods. The last thing she needed to do was appear weak or anything like that. Tiegan just didn't guarentee the safety of anyone in the room or what her reflexes might do when needles appeared.
She was already wrapping up the cut with something new, a hanky or something she'd snatched out of her bag, heading past Mik for the door.

Unfortunately for Tiegan, Stefan was fast, and stronger than he looked. As soon as she stood, he grabbed her uninjured arm to prevent her from getting any farther. "Not so fast," he said firmly. "You wanted my help, and you're not going anywhere yet."
Mikhail was content to watch, glad he wasn't on the receiving end of his guardian's annoyance for once.

"Okay, okay..." Tiegan stopped and sat back up on the counter. She started to chew on her lower lip again, nervous, waiting to witness the dreaded needles.
"I won't go anywhere." She muttered, stroking the cat, focusing on making her arm not shake.

"Good." At least she didn't argue! "It'll be fine, just look at Conan and try not to think about it." Stefan's smile returned, and he pulled a smaller kit from the box of first aid supplies, from which he extracted needle holders and a few small packages that contained the needles with the sutures already attached. He quickly swabbed the area, then extracted one of the little curved needles from its packaging.

Oh holy ********, ********, ********, ********, ********... Tiegan was starting to feel a bit freaked out again. She had to show she wasn't weak but at the same time...
"Think about what?" She managed...
Then passed out, nearly slipping off the bench again. Tiegan had forgotten to breathe.

Whoa! Stefan caught the girl with his free arm and lowered her carefully to the counter. He should have expected that, but it had been quite some time since he'd worked on anyone other than himself or Mikhail. Anyway, at least it would make this easier! He calmly stiched up the wound, while Conan decided that he'd had enough. The gray cat slid off the counter to the chair next to it, then onto the floor, and ambled off to find somewhere less exciting to spend his night. He was too old for this sort of thing.
...well, that was interesting. Mik was equally surprised, but in hindsight, he supposed he shouldn't have been. She was a girl, after all.
