Dark murmured the phrase under his breath, trying to remember it. "Alright, but what will we do with it afterwards? The amulet that is."

Dark caught the amulet, barely needing to try. He nodded reassuringly. "When have I ever let you down?" instantly he regretted saying that. He thought of the centuries ago when he turned on him, to save the four links. Also destroying himself as well. "Actually, don't answer that. I swear on the triforce; I won't let you down this time." He smiled and turned to head off.

As Dark walked to the castle, he slapped himself across the face.
"What am I doing? I can warp there!"
Snapping his fingers, he appeared back in the blind spot in the castle where he had left from. Peering through the window to Zelda, he noticed her surrounded by guards. He cursed lightly in his mind and summoned a random village kid. The boy appeared in the passageway to Zelda he looked dazed and walked into the clearing as though he were a puppet. Which he was, in a sense. Dark was controlling him. As soon as he got him into sight of the guards, he released he boy, who blinked and looked around confused. When he saw the guards come after him, he ran. Leading them away from Zelda and distracting everyone watching. Once the guards were out of sight, Dark warped into the clearing and held the amulet behind his back. A sort of wall appeared around the clearing, it was invisible and made everything around them frozen in time. All but the things inside the barrier. "Hello again, missed me?" he smiled at Zelda, it seemed as though the order from Vaati was never given, but Dark would act soon enough...

Dark blushed as she hugged him, he quickly checked to see if the time-wall still stood strong; it did. He could see a bird in mid-flight that was about to land. While doing his best to block the bird from view without Zelda noticing, he slid the necklace into his bag. Looking to her, he thought to himself, 'If I manage to stay true to the shadows, this....uh, love I guess.... could be a useful thing. If I turn to the light, well, I would disappoint Vaati, that's for sure....*sigh* Figures, just when I have to do something already hard, she makes it even harder.'

Dark stared at her as she hugged him. Once she let go, he brought a box out from behind his back. It was wrapped in black paper with red ribbon. "This is for you, I went out to the market just now and I had to get you something...so, uh...here." he handed it to her and waited for her to open it. The whole time Zelda was hugging him, he had been wrapping the amulet up into a gift box. The ribbon was materialized from blood, the paper of shadows, and the box was an empty ring-box he found in the street and cleaned off, but she didn't need to know what the gift supplies were made of. He waited for her to open the box and put on the necklace.

(( "Light and dark are like two sides of the same coin...one cannot exist without the other"....or something along those lines. Dark cannot exist without Zelda...so he stuck her into an amulet so they could always be together! xD Jk jk...just thought of that quote and had to say something about it...also, it says coin...
...wth is a coin? (Currency=Rupees) xD ))

Dark smiled as he recognized that Vaati had sent the signal, but he was smiling because of Zelda not Vaati, but neither of them needed to know that bit either. Dark tried to think of how to bring the curse into play without seeming suspicious at first. Then he had an idea, he quickly materialized a piece of paper in his pocket and took it out saying, "This came with it....hold on..." He unfolded it as the curse materialized itself onto the paper. Once he unfolded it he murmured fake instructions under his breath about proper care and cleaning and what not, then he paused for a second, made a confused face, and said
"...It says that the first time you wear this necklace...you have to have the one who gave it to you read this poem...out loud."
He blinked and scanned through the writing again before looking back up to Zelda, "What do you think? Should I read it?"

He nodded and looked down to the paper again, silently wishing she had said no and apologizing for this "Alright, 'Light is to darkness, as good is to evil; Let the shadows enter this soul!'" He rushed the last part of the curse.
