Originally, most of the current Crew and VC have been grandfathered in from the Guild. Mind you, we did, at one point, have a rather large clan. I can see where you're coming from, but challenging those who are above you is going against the chain of command.
However, if you really feel overwhelmed, I'll discuss this with other VC.

I don't want to challenge chain of command, just figure out what all the command is for. In the same way that we are trying to regain the clan's purpose, I'd like to find out the purpose of having that size of a crew.
