Death smiled and assured, "Yep, you've got it. You need to think like your enemy and use it against him." He watched her take a good stance and listened to her suggestion. "I hope I wasn't keeping you from anything," he said, relaxing. Death returned to a normal standing position before continuing, "We can definitely meet up in a training ground, any preference?"

Amaranth wandered into the forest, her shoulder-length red hair blowing behind her and twisting in the wind as she walked towards a small clearing in the trees. Reaching the clearing, Amaranth removed her scythe from it's holster on her back and stabbed the shaft into the ground before hanging her bag off the blade. Removing a scroll from her bag, the large ninja quickly read through her notes, double checking to see that the new jutsu was safe enough to test. After seeing that her notes were right, the short genin took a step away from her scythe and turned her back to it, now facing a large tree about 3 meters away from her.

Focusing her chakra, Amaranth's hands moved in a blur, each hand moving separately, but doing the same handsigns. Thrusting both hand forward, the large genin watched as a silver orb pulsed out of each palm and streaked towards the tree. The orbs had made it a meter before one orb spun out of control and hit the ground withering the grass where it hit. The other orb continued and managed to hit the tree, but deflected off it, leaving only a small rotted patch where the orb had touched the wood.

Amaranth frowned then tried again. The orbs ricocheted off each other. Chakra was too dense. Again, too much chakra and the orbs repelled each other, curving away from the target. Another time and one of the orbs rippled and imploded before it hit the tree. Sighing with annoyance, Amaranth tried again, but mixed up one of the handsigns with her left hand, causing an orb to be launched from only the right hand. Without another orb to interfere with it, the silver sphere rocketed straight towards the tree, hitting it head on and slowly moving into it, rotting the wood as it moved through it.

With it's core now rotten, the tree slowly collapsed, gaining speed as it plummeted to the ground with a thunderous crash. Amaranth smiled, but decided to try again to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Going through the handsigns with her left hand, the large genin thrust her left palm forward, watching as a silver orb shot into a tree, rotting the wood as it passed through it. Now grinning, Amaranth walked over to her bag and grabbed the scroll and a pen, marking in the fact that having more then one orb made the jutsu far harder to use.

With the jutsu now working,though unmastered, Amaranth stumbled over to her scythe and bag, before going to sit down and landing on the ground with a loud thud. Grabbing some biscuits from her bag, Amaranth began to eat as she rested, recovering from the constant use of a new jutsu.

After a few minutes of resting, Amaranth stood up and gathered her stuff together before walking away, back towards the village.

Hiro ran over to the river where he thought he had heard the noise and when he stopped and began to look around he heard the noise again but deeper into the forest. He then turned and rushed back into the forest determined to catch the cat.

Hiro looks around now for he is sitting in the middle of the forest and he listens not hearing the bell but off somewhere close he heres crows and jingling. With that he turned and ran towards the area with these noises.

Hiro jumped up and as he did the crows dispearsed from the nest but as he bent down and grabbed the pendent they all came rushing back squawking and pecking biting.

He got about twenty feet before running into a bunch of crows also trying to get the pendent. He turned swiftly to the right and began to run diagnolly to get out of their.
