"Electric eel," she grunted, happy she had broken its neck before it gave her an 800 volt jolt, "I'm fine. Just wasn't expecting one." She a little soured by the nasty mark it left on her lip. If Eclipse wasn't in a generally good mood she might have tracked down the creature's family and killed them too. Instead she decided to put a little and put her hurt ego behind her. "Thanks for asking," she responded looking a little like a wet dish towel.

He swam over and wraped his neck under hers. "you look misrible. how about we swim to shore and you can eat him in revenge." He gave her a smile reasuring her.

Eclipse smiled gratefully at his concern and nuzzled him back. Letting him guide her back to the shoreline.

He guilded he still a bit clumsy in the water, but well enough that the direction was right. "And here you are." he clumbed up the bank feeling the weight once again on his wings, but payed no mind to it for now.

Eclipse crawled onto the rocky bank and tried to help Star Chaser onto the rock. "Would you like some of the eel? It's a little chew but has a nice flavor," she said trying to offer him some of the fish meat. She ntoiced that even though he was kind of clumsy out of the air he was gaining confidence. She nuzzled him and began to snuggle with him.

"No, you fought and beat that eel yourself." He gave her a wide grin, showing off his sharp teeth, putting a wing across her back. "If you'd like I'll hunt down the rest of them and bring them to you."

"I'm sure you can guess," Eclipse said with a smile. She nibbled his neck a little and nuzzled against him. "Revenge is only sweet on occasion. I need a break from that as well. I haven't been loved in a very long time."

"You bet I am," she laughed and knocked him over with her paw, "Wups sorry about that... Only if you are wanting to." She purred and lay her head on his chest. She smiled and began to drift to sleep. Eclipse was grateful for meeting her new compainion, friend, and lover.

Star chaser put a wing over her shoulders smiling to himself. "Of course I want to I've been wondering how to ask all night." His thoughts wandered to plans for the night ahead.
