Nissa smiled. "Well, I admit the tattoo did make me a little curious. I just have never seen one quite like that. Must be one of a kind." she ended that with a statement and closed her eyes when the water drops flew onto her face.

 Utau walked up to Black Ridge Academy and stared at the metal gates looming in front of her. She sighed and looked over to wave at her parents, but was dismayed to see that they had already gone. Utau shrugged and held back her tears. How wonderful it would be to have parents that really loved you... she thought wistfully, her ears and tails drooping. She quickly shook off the melancholy that was settling over her and looked up again. I can do this. A stupid Academy can't restrain me... Although I'm looking forward to learning magick. That will be fun. Utau kept positive thoughts running through her head as she pushed through the metal gates and entered the Academy.
Utau leafed around in her bag and pulled out a map of the Academy. She had highlighted her dorm room and traced a route through all her classes the night before. Once she had glanced at her map, she folded it back up and stuffed it into her pocket. Utau navigated the hallways to her dorm and crashed gloomily onto her bed, anticipating unwelcoming glares and snarls from other students... No. I can't think like that, she told herself firmly. I'm not the only freak here. Surely I'll be accepted. I may even meet another vampire neko! She leaped off the bed, a new expression of confidence set on her face. She then proceeded to unpack her things, placing them in various drawers and occasionally stuffing objects under the bed. She gave her hair a quick brush and grabbed her schedule/map, then exited into the hall.

 Shadow got tired of swimming after a while and swam out of the pool. "Hey Nissa, I'm going to walk around campus. I'll see you later." He said as he jumped over the fence. i better put my staff back in my dorm before i lose it. He thought as he went back to his dorm. He sat his staff with his swords and left his dorm. When he entered the dormitory lobby he bumped into Utau.

•Nissa• ((Like, when is it in the RP? Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Night?))
Nissa shrugged. "Alright." She swam around the pool for a while and saw somebody's shoe on the floor of the pool. She stuck her head in the water to make sure it was a shoe, but was shocked to see that it was some weird fish just sitting there. She jumped out of the pool and looked around for some container. Wait! Fish shouldn't be able to live in water with chlorine in it! That is some weird creature... she thought, shocked that something so strange had not been found out by somebody else. She saw a huge plastic box and slid across the ground to get it. When she reached it, she was panting.
"Boy, not having legs will kill ya." Nissa said, happy that nobody was there to hear her. She slid back to the pool's edge and fell in, not making a sound. She again saw the fish, this time swimming slowly around the middle of the pool. She dove down and caught it in the box. She shot upwards so quickly that the fish was pressed up against the bottom of the box. When she hit the surface, she grinned to herself. "I'll have soemthing exciting to keep in my dorm now!" she set the box on the ground by the water's edge and stared into it. The fish was swimming around in circles. She jumped onto the concrete next to the fish and stared through the roof at the sky, waiting for her body to dry off.

Aka stood up. Her eyes glowed red for a a moment and a gust of wind swirled around her body then disappeared. As the wind settled down, Aka's clothes and hair were completely dried as if she had never gotten wet. "See ya..."Aka said and began to walk away. The vampire soon came across a rose bush"Finally..."She sighed and plucked a fully bloomed rose from the bush. She clenched it in her hand and watched as the thorns cut into her flesh and left the wounds bleeding.

Utau was taken aback when Shadow rammed into her. She stumbled backwards and dropped her schedule, wrinkling it and tearing the edges. Utau scowled and tried to smooth out the piece of paper, but it was useless. Oh well. I can always pick up another from the office. She shrugged and shoved the schedule into her coat pocket before turning to look at Shadow. Utau could tell by his scent that he had dragon blood in him, but his aura didn't give off any bad vibes. Utau could sense things like that with her heightened cat/vamp intuition. It came in handy at times like these. Utau placed her hands on her hips and grinned wryly. "Thanks for screwing up my schedule," she said sarcastically. She laughed. "Don't worry about it, it's no big deal. By the way, my name's Utau. What's yours?" She knew she could read his mind and find out his name, but she wanted to do this right. She couldn't risk messing up her first encounter with another student.

•Nissa• Nissa dried rather quickly and stood up. She turned to pick up the fish in the bowl, but noticed that it blew bubbles. She hadn't seen any fish like that except for a lung fish once. That must be some weird lung fish! I used to have one! It wasn't the same type of fish, but it used lungs! she picked it up and started to walk out of the pool area. She walked down the hall and the fish stared at her with it's beady eyes. She saw her dorm coming up after three minutes of walking and she entered, the bitter cold from the five fans in her room hit her like a sharp arrow. She cringed and walked towards her dresser, determined of sneaking out and buying some fish food.
Nissa set the fish down and ran out of her room. She shut and locked her door. She ran down the hall into the lobby. I have my wallet in my neckline, so I'm all set! she thought. She ran past Shadow and Utau and shoved her way threw the door out to the street. She looked at the building behind her to make sure no cameras were watching. When she saw none, she ran down the sidewalk and eventually saw the pet store when she made it into town. She slowed to a strut and entered the store, the guniea pigs catching her eyes as she entered. She couldn't help but go over and pet them once she bought the fish food. The storekeeper saw her and walked towards her. "Would you be lookin' to purchase one a' these fine critters?" he asked her. She nodded her head and handed him a twenty. She looked back down at the huge cage and picked up the smallest one. The clerk ran back and got a starter cage and some food for her. "Why thank you! But I only paid for the animal... Why are you doing this?" she asked him, baffled by his kind offer. He simply placed the pig in the cage and set it in her arms.
Nissa smiled and ran out of the shop and down the sidewalk back to her school, the fish feed kept next to her wallet in her shirt. She came upon the front doors and slowly opened them, looking both ways inside to make sure no teachers were standing in there. None were. She slid into the building and again ran past Utau and Shadow in an effort to keep her pet a secret. She fumbled around when she was in front of her door but unlocked the door and slammed it behind her. She set the guinea pig on the computer desk her parents had put in her room the day before. He stared at her with big, brown eyes. Her heart melted by his cuteness and decided to name him Snuggles.

Aka switch the rose to her other hand. She looked at the wounds and a sudden fury came over her. She clenched her teeth and fell to her knees. The tattoo over her eyes seemed to shift from black to read then gray. She screamed through her teath and fell on her side, writhing in pain. Aka looked up at the sky, her eyes sorrowful. "This can't be happening again...."She sighed, biting her lower lip.

Utau saw Nissa dash past her and Shadow in an effort to conceal something. Who is that girl, and what is she hiding? Utau thought, concentrating on the girl. Unfortunately, it was too late, as the door had already slammed shut. Damn. I really need to learn how to mind read through walls, Utau thought with a scowl. She turned to face Shadow again. "Excuse me, but I have to get going now. Um... before I go... do you know who that girl was?" Utau said sheepishly, her ears folding back with embarrassment. Ignorance took a blow to Utau's pride, as vampire nekos were usually an arrogant bunch.

((It's late evening in the rp.)) "The girl that passed us? Her name is Nissa." Shadow said. "My name is Shadow. Nice to meet you." He said with a bow. "Sorry for messing up your schedule, but i think you'll have to wait and get a new schedule tomorrow." He said as he seen the clock showing 6:30 pm.

Nissa picked up the scared Snuggles and walked out to the lobby. He stared at her and squeaked. She smiled and pet him on the head. "Hi!" she said to Utau and Shadow as she entered the lobby. She saw Utau's ears and fangs and looked puzzled for a bit. "A vampire neko?" she asked her. Snuggles stretched his neck to reach Utau and she held him out, but still kept a good grip on him. He sinffed her hand and licked it. Nissa pulled him back right then and shook her head. "I'm sorry. I just got him, so I wasn't sure what he would do. I'm just lucky he didn't bite you... Or else I'd be dea-" she stopped when she was sure that what she would continue to say would be an insult. She held Snuggles close and stared at Utau.

•Nissa• It's a guinea pig! Oh, and, I didn't find him, I bought him. I found a fish in the pool." Nissa explained. Snuggles reached out to Shadow and she again let him go. He sniffed him and pulled back, obviously afraid. She stroked his head and he bit her finger. "Ouch!" she yelped. Nissa thumped him lightly on the nose. Snuggles shrunk into her body and squeaked in defeat.
