Instead of walking faster to keep up with him she just started taking bigger steps. "hmmmm..." She thought for a moment of what question to ask him. "Ah! Ok, Whats your favorite color!?" She asked, giving him a childish grin.

Dresden sighed, a little disappointed , "I was hoping for something a little more than that, Kaida...My favorite color is bronze." He held up his right hand. Around his wrist was a bracelet covered in bronze coins with magical symbols on them. "It was my Mothers. It protects me. If she had worn it back then...she would have lived longer"

She looked at him sympathetically then stared at the bracelet, she found it quite interesting even if bronze wasnt her favorite color. "So... what kind of question were you looking for then?" She asked curious.

Dresden shrugged and smirked, "I dunno. Something about my life, job, past jobs...I don't care. What about you? What can you tell me about your past?"

She slowed down a bit. "My past...?" Her past wasn't anything plesant worth mentioning. She lived in a village of skilled ninja, her father was the village elder, and her home was burned and destroyed in war, thats it... well thats all she would say, its not all that had happened.

Dresden frowned. Everyone has lived through tragedy. "I'm sorry, Kaida. To experience something that devastating at such a young age must have been very hard indeed. I'm sorry I brought it up"

She looked up at him and smiled "Oh no its quite alright really! I mean its not like anyone I cared for die-" She cut herself off and thought about what she was going to say. "Its better that it happened at a younger age so there is time to heal and recover... right?"

"Right" He said as he held his Mother's bracelet. He cleared his throat and said, "Let's not talk depressing. Have I ever told you how I defeated a Silver Dragon and self proclaimed Master of Riddles in a game of riddles?" He asked her wish a smile.

She snickered and put her hands on her hips. "As a matter of fact... you haven't." She said. "I guess its story time isn't it?" She said refering to a child's favorite time of day.

"Indeed it is." Dresden said with a laugh, "Well This Silver Dragon's name is Benny. Strange name for a Dragon, I know. Well he called himself the "Master of Riddles". So, like any Wizard worth his or her salts, I challenged him to a Game of Riddles. It turns out poor Benny never read The Hobbit, so I pulled out one of the riddles and I won. Benny still calls himself the 'Master of Riddles' even though he lost."

She laughed and crossed her arms. "Well it seems to me that 'Benny' is a sore loser, doncha think?" She asked pausing for a moment. "Now, I have a riddle for you... do you accept my challenge?" She questioned, looking at him in the corner of her eye.

She smiled, looking at the ground. "Very well..." She ran a hand through her hair and continued on with the only riddle that she was told. "A battle worth fighting for... even if unwinnable..."

She snickered and clapped. "Yes, correct, its love. You are good Dresden. Love, 'A battle worth fighting for even if unwinnable.... The only one thats unwinnable..." She said looking straight foward.
