Avantea backed away from Ruin as fast as she could, pulling Haveni with her. The cave which they'd just been in seemed to be close to collapsing as Ruin stepped outside, only a few feet away from them.
It was obvious she was evil, pure evil. What Ava didn't understand was that the woman claimed to have been Haveni.
"Wh-what do you mean, y-you were once Haveni? Wh-who's this Haveni then?" she questioned Ruin, her voice shaky and an octave higher than normal.
She was dead afraid. Not even once had the thought crossed her head that something like this would've occured during the festival. Was the old story about to be acted out once more?

Dazed, Tenar opened his eyes. His jaw fell slack, and his shoulders throbbed along with his temples. He looked upward from his place on the ground, and saw now that the tree that was peppered with gray tinges on its green canopy was now fully gray; stray leaves began to fall slowly, one by one, down onto his body. They were as gray as his own fur.
What is happening...?
The forest was eerily silent. Tenar thought that the sudden scream would lead to more shouts that would lead him straight to the commotion, but all was deathly silent. He rose to his feet, brushing off the leaves that continued to fall.
"Ugh, I knew this was a bad idea from the beginning. I'm going back -- I'm hungry anyway."
He trotted backward some, scanning the area for the trees he marked, but he could find none.
"Oh no, where am I?"
Furrowing his brow, he headed further into the forest where he thought the village might be.

Rhyme found herself hit was a stab of fear as a person who looks exactly like the one of the people backing away from her. Why was there.. twins? Why did one emit such fear?
Rhyme stood up immediately, shards of crystal threatening to aim at the spirit before her. But Rhyme's unsteady state couldn't form any, her hand letting go of the harp, letting her precious item fall to the ground. What was that? Rhyme couldn't run. Her foolishness would not allow her to, having her stand there, watching the scene play out before her eyes. She stepped forward, thinking that words might help.
"Y-You say they killed you. Would you like to elaborate on this.. unknown connection?" She kept her voice calm, she didn't know how, even though her insides were shaking. Her pale skin grew paler, long red hair flowing behind her.

Azra'iel was all but blasted backwards with the force of the evil aura before him. He found himself pinned to a tree and meagerly trying to summon his own aura to cushion him enough to move. He vision, blinded as he was, was filled with swirls of black and sickening twists of red. The black was darker than any darkness he had ever seen. He was just able to seal himself in the glow of his own soft white aura and faced the evil directly.
He found he could only manage a whisper.
"What... are you? How do you remain when I sense only death?"

Girisha was too afraid to do anything and when his friend go them away from the other he was grateful. He was just too racked with fear to even open his eyes. He barely heard his friend tell him to run, but he couldnt run even if he wanted to. "No. Friend. Cant leave."
His body shook as he stood there and listened to the conversation going on between the women they had followed and the other one. He barely was able to open an eye and look at them. Just as he looked at the other he whimpered more. He could see she was evil, could see she was the cause of the death to this forest. He just couldnt understand how she was able to acomplish this andd why she would want to. From what he heard she was angry that some villagers from the old village the festival was for, btu they were dead, werent they? So why was she taking herr anger out on those here and now and the forest?
Girisha didnt even notice the others that gather with them, too afraid to even do anything or notice anything else but the evil one in front of them.

Rylia was staring back in the direction of the forest. Something...dark was definitely out there and it was possible some of the others might be caught up in whatever evil was lurking out there. Her mind wandered back to the two she had saw earlier, and that other they had chased after. She didn't know them, but what if they were caught up in the evil out there. The village was already creepy and gave her an uneasy feeling unlike she had experienced outside. If the forest was worse then what she was feeling in the village, then couldn't help but feel sorry or even hope for those strangers stuck in that mess got out. She looked over at Harou and then at Aeo's, unsure. She shook her head once more as she looked up, as if trying to look at the sky. Would it really look the same in such a cursed place? It certainly didn't feel the same, cutting her attention from it and looking over at the two again before walking in a random direction looking around. If they could find what it was they were looking for, they could try and head back right? Away from this evil place.

There were others too, who had heard the commotion and came running from the village. The person who was wearing the 'hero' mask, who was supposed to play the part in the dancing ceremony, also came.
Ruin's eyes took in the light, drinking it like the finest nectar. She had, after all, been thirsting for it so long. Her eyes fell to these others around them.
Fear....the forest reeked of it. She would have it no other way. The aura that howled around her was not like that of any other constellation - it teemed with some sort of deathly feeling, like that of a plague.
"Elaborate..?" her dead eyes gazed upon Rhyme, but Ruin only smiled. "I won't answer the questions of soon-to-be-dead." Her gaze returned back to Haveni. "You don't remember?"
Haveni did not reply, the fear in her making her unable. Even while Ruin spoke out loud though, it was as if she were invading her mind. "Stop it, stop it!" she cried.
She took a breath, as if refreshed by the air, even though the forest in that area was dead. Suddenly, her lethargic behavior changed. The plagued-aura around her lifted her from the ground, and within a blink of an eye, she was near to the man playing the 'hero'. She reached for him, laying her hand upon his chest. Whatever anti-aura pulsed around her seemed to greatly affect him as it touched him. He cried out in pain, screaming multitple times as if he were losing his mind, and began clutching at himself, rolling upon the ground reverently. That's what the aura was - a plague-touch, which could either slowly steal a person's life, or steal their mind.
"Pity. Instead of dying he lost his sanity." she smirked at this, then once mroe looked towards Haveni, extending a hand. "You'll come with me, won't you? To teach the world a lesson...You'll come with me, to make them suffer in darkness as long as we did, won't you?"

Frei had listened to the story he had heard so many times before. He had watched the sparklies fly into the sky and vanish. Some went into the forest while one other went into the haunting village. For a long while he had sat and pondered if he should go after those items. Everyone else seemed to be heading for the forest, logically there was a better chance of finding one since there were two and the village only held one. Maybe he should go search for the other, although the village had a scary feel.
While he was debating, a chill ran down his spine. It was almost as if he could sense something bad was happening. He turned toward the forest, and simply stared. Would he go investigate? Maybe he should stay here. He wondered silently, clutching his lantern in one hand and horn in the other. If it got lost, perhaps he could use his horn to call for help.
That's when he noticed other running from the village to the forest. There was definitely something going on. Giving up on his other choice, he ran after the others.

Pushing a branch aside, he caught a glimpse of the Constellation's red hair and golden harp.
"Oh! So that's where they all went!"
Tenar huddled behind a tree stump, carefully camouflaging himself in the grayness of the forest so as not to be seen. He was oblivious to what had happened so far.
He muttered to himself and licked the back of his teeth. He could still taste the sweet from before. "They probably found both heart pieces. Shoot! I should've started this whole thing earlier." Tenar cursed at himself as he stared at the group before him. Then he saw more people from the village run toward them.
"Wow! What is going on?"
Tenar couldn't hear what they were saying, he was so far away. He stepped from behind his hiding place, and started to trot toward them, intending to congratulate the winners of the treasure hunt, but froze mid-stride as he saw a man in a festival mask start to scream and roll on the ground.
Tenar's eyes widened. "Wow, that's definitely NOT a piece of heart." He leaped back behind the tree and watched from afar, heart racing.

Her eyes still wide and full of fear, Ava held onto Haveni tightly.
"Don't go with her, Haveni, don't!" she pleaded, casting looks of horror at the man who was to play the role of hero for the dance.
"R-Ruin, w-why were you killed?" the constellation then asked, gathering what little courage she had, for she wanted the answer. "Th-there m-must have been a r-reason, right?"
She clutched at Haveni's shoulders, not wanting to let go of her.

Girisha couldnt stand hearing anymore of the screams, coming from who he didnt know. He shook his head before his anger at this one thinking she could put her own anger on those that had not been there. He looked up, his markings glowing bright from his anger.
"Stop it!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "They not there. Not there when you killed. You leave alone!" Even in his state of anger his vocabulary wasnt very great but he knows he got his message across. He was still afraid but his anger overwhelmed his fear. As he thought of it more and became even more angry and thus his scarf!arms came up as a protection against anything that might harm him, yet still letting him be visible and able to fight if need be.

At watching what had happened to the one who had tried to face her, fear gripped Kliment's heart like a pair of iron jaws. His body was finally obeying his mind, and he grabbed Girisha, hurling the two of them out of the room and up the stairs. Like hell he was going to stay and let that happen to either of them; it was a pity he couldn't grab everyone, but sometimes, one had to look at what they could accomplish in the short amount of time they had.
Having brought both to the grassy ground, Kliment lay panting for a moment, feeling he would be sick. Once he tried to sat up, something seized in his stomach and he turned, vomited. Gods, what the hell was that?! What the hell...
He quickly checked Girisha, eyes wide in a panicked state. The world was spinning.
"Are... are you alright?" he asked, then shook the other. "Girisha! Answer me! Tell me you're alright... listen, you have to get out of here... go, and be safe," he begged, face twisted in the pain of puking stomach acid and his growing headache.
Feeling a bit safe, for a moment, he sat back and tried to catch his breath. "You... what were you thinking?!" he demanded, his voice cracking in worry. "You can't face her! You saw what she did to that man! Now go, I will worry about the others." He stood on wobbling legs, drawing the back of his hand across his mouth. It tasted horrible, and he had never been so frightened or disgusted as to be provoked into vomiting.
