"Oh dear..." Henry muttered as he studied the girl. Her voice was quiet, but with his keen hearing, he picked up every syllable of every word even with the noisy crowd in the background. He paused for a second, to make sure he heard her right. "Adorable?" He pondered. Adorable was never the word he heard when people described him. I've heard so many other things to describe me, ones that I would never repeat, but...adorable? "Do you really think that?" It bewildered him, then again, maybe she was a +Anima too, only reason she would say that. "Wait a minute, on a scale from one to ten?" Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, I should calm down...Wait! I forgot to introduce myself! "Forgive me, I must apologize again for being rude, I must introduce myself. My name is Henry Jasper Williams." He bowed for a moment, hoping that he was forgiven for all his actions.

Aisha walked down the crowded streets, trying to keep herself from bumping into other people, while looking around for anything interesting. She had just done a small job delivering a package to one of the vendors on the street and she was given an apple as payment. She didn't complain about it, since food was food and in her life, even an apple meant she would survive for another day. Taking a small bite into it, she took out a good sized piece and swallowed it happily. It was the first bite of food she had today so she wasn't going to waste it by eating it too quickly, even if her stomach wanted to eat it quickly. Taking a moment to stop and look around, she had decided to go down a street she had never gone down before. She passed it often while doing her small jobs, but she never had any reason to go down it until today. There was still no reason for her to go down the street, but her curiosity made her legs walk down the street, looking at all the things she hadn't seen walking on the main road. Sadly, this was the most exciting decision she had made in the last few days. Before this one, was her decision to follow a stray cat around the roads and she had gotten lost. She did that often when she left the main road, but it was always worth seeing the new sights.

The tall manling glanced at the girl for but a moment, and then shrugged her off. Hunters were no problem for him. He was more than capable of taking care of himself. He did, however, smirk just a little at the hare, and lingered on him for a while. Attractive... but maybe a bit too much on the shy side for his liking...
He gave the small turtle girl a one minute sign and approached the lagamorph. "If you keep apologizing like that, you'll seem like easy prey. You already are - prey- I mean, but don't make it easy for them."

Feeling that she had explored enough of the new street to satisfy her curiosity, she turned down a street that she hoped would take her right to the main street. After a few minutes of walking she had finally made it to the main street, which surprised her a little bit since she usually got lost on her little adventures. As she walked down the main street, she saw a group of +Anima and she decided to get a bit closer to them, though she was still a good distance from them. She stayed close enough so that she could hear them, but she hoped she was far enough that they wouldn't notice her.

"W-w-well...I-I-I..." Henry began to stutter a bit as the intimidating man approached and commented. He stopped trying to talk, which was just a babble at the moment, and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and tried again at speaking to the newcomer. "It is a bad habit of mine, to be honest." He mumbled as his confidence increased. "If I make someone angry, they will want some type of justice with which, I cannot handle." The Hare +Anima answered, opening his eyes. He gasped slightly, forgetting how menacing the person in front of him was. Calm down, if he wanted to hurt you, he would have done so already. Henry re-assured himself, nodding to himself slightly. "However, thank you for the advice you offered, I will try to be less likely of being someone's prey." He quickly muttered, his ears twitching a bit. Studying the, what appeared to be, older male, he decided he would not be a threat, for now. If the time arises though, Henry will run.

The older male reached out a hand to pat him on the head, but then thought better of it. It was better not to let the rabbit know that he was attracted him; better not to get attached. He was prey - weak, and unreliable. It wouldn't do, to get to like him and then have to endure the pain of his death.
Death didn't bother Deitricht - he'd seen freinds come and go - but he couldn't say that the feelings attached to those who were his freinds weren't painful when thought about. He knew the distinction between the feeling of loss and a fear of death. He did not fear death, and so, he could only know the pain of loss.
If his thoughts were in turmoil on the inside, his face didn't show it for more than an instant. "Just keep it in mind. Only the strong survive to tell tales."
He turned away, and then looked back. "It's better that you should fear me - I smell it on you - I'll only bring you down."

Marion saw immediately what was going on in the mind of the older boy. Normally, it would be difficult for a person, but Mari had lived her life analyzing people, mostly to see if they were dangerous or lying, and with a little bit of effort, she could find the streaks of affection in his voice. Clearly, the giant bunny hadn't picked them up. It would be hard for the inexperienced, though, so it wasn't as though she hadn't expected it. Anyone who thought she was nine or ten didn't have the stuff to see that sort of super-hidden thing. This older guy, whoever he was, was made of strong stuff.
But her internal praise was cut short by loud, irritating, and hateful voices. She turned to look, and saw five or six hunters running towards them. She blinked once. Twice. Then, her face changed from the blank look she had been wearing the whole time into an angry scowl. Her voice changed, too, from that of a shy nine year old to that of a PMSing fifteen year old. "I'll handle it." A soft glow eminated from her tattoo, one that quickly grew stronger as her transformation took place. White wings on her back, feathers down her arms and legs, and webbed hands and feet. And then, she charged.
There is little that is more intimidating than an oncoming Trumpeter Swan, and an oncoming Trumpeter Swan +Anima is one of them. The pumping of the wings, which is used to accelerate, looks quite frightening, no matter how many times it's seen. And as the speed is needed to take off into flight, lots of practice is put into this skill. The yelling that Mari was emitting didn't help the courage of the hunters much, either. An arrow or two was fired, but it was fairly half-hearted, and she was left unscathed as they turned tail and fled. She chased them all the way back to the wall, just to make sure, then flew back to where the hyena and rabbit boy were, landing with the grace of the swan that had been lent to her. Her quiet voice had returned. "Not my fault they were idiots. I wouldn't have done anything to them." Her eyes were cast to the ground, and she kicked at a stray rock.

Henry blinked a few times, stunned by what happened. Was he threatened by the older man? or was it a warning? Maybe helpful advice? How was this small girl so brave? Was there something more to her than what one saw at first glance? Henry grew annoyed at his wandering mind and blinked a few more times, then looked at the small girl. "How are you able to be that brave to dash at hunters like that?" He questioned her. It didn't make sense to him. He turned to the Hyena man to ask him a question, but stopped and stared, before turning back to the Girl.

Marion shrugged. In all honesty, her instincts, which told her to fear the men with the arrows who intended to kill her, hadn't kicked in until they were already running away from her, and she hadn't wanted to disappoint her two new onii-sans. She was already accepting them as her older brothers. Somehow, she felt like they would protect her. Maybe not bunny-boy. He probably couldn't protect her. But maybe he would try. And that made everything better.
For serious.

((I can't believe you just used the words 'For serious'.... I seriously about fell off my chair laughing when I saw it... XD But no - it was funny. ^_____^))
Detricht seemed lost in thought, but in all actuallity, he was trying to calculate the likelyhood of the hunters coming back.
Once sure that they wouldn't dare, he turned his attentions to the swan and the hare, sighing, as though in resignation. "I suppose that this would mark a turning point. My name is Deitricht Vaughn Richter," He drawled, as though bored. He had a dark almost germanic accent when he allowed himself to slip into it, and he was certainly slipping... "And I suppose that I'll be traveling with you. It's been awhile since I've traveled with anyone still living, so do forgive me if I seem a little coarse - however, I have to lay down some ground rules."
He paused, and then continued. "I will not tolerate any of you talking about your anima as if it is a burden. Not only is it disrespectful to the soul that saved you, but it is self depreciating and akin to asking for death. Secondly, do not question me when and if I have to kill. If an enemy is fought, I will kill that enemy for the good of everyone here. Lastly, I would like my personal space."
He lowered his hood for the first time in a while, and showed the rest of the heavy anima markings on his face. "Is it understood?"

Aisha was a bit afraid when she saw the hunters, but the other girl seemed to easily scare them off. While listening to them, she overheard that they were going to travel somewhere, and a thought crossed her mind. I wonder if they would let me travel with them. I would like to leave the town but I've always been afraid to go alone..maybe.. She took a shy step towards them and said quietly, just enough so that they could hear the cat's soft voice. "Umm..Could I..if you don't mind..travel with you? I-I promise not to be a burden and I'll do my best to help out." Her heart was beating heavily against her chest, since she hadn't spoken to anyone in a long time, let alone a group of people.

((Sorry, been busy))
Sally looked up at the new arrival. "Hiya, I'm Sally. You didn't tell us yours, did you?" She asked with a smile.
Serrenedy ran closer to the wall, still in the trees, almost randomly she threw him up. "Get over the wall, tell Sally I'm shopping for something" She ordered before turning back to the hunters, using a tree to crush one of the arrows. "GO!!" She turned back to them. "Shoot me one more time you d@mn F*cktards" She demanded. As an arrow buried itself in her shoulder she let out a scream and started to change. A few hunters ran when they saw the talons come out, but the idiots that stayed had their hearts basically torn out. She turned back and looked down at her bloody clothes, then at her arm. "Dude, seriously?" She sighed and went off to first find clothes so Sally wouldn't worry, then to find the gate.
"Detricht...wow, coll name, I'm warning you from now, I'll just end up shorting that." She giggled. "Are you from up north? You sound German, THAT'S SO COOL. We, well-I have to wait for my sister, I wonder what taking so long with Davey and his cats?" At that moment she heard the scream. "Renna-that's Ren's scream...she hurt." The tears started to come almost automatically. She fell to the ground. "REN" She whimpered as scenes of death and pain flashed through her mind. Her shell grew aound her as she huddled into a ball underneath.

((Am I really that awesome? XD))
Marion stared up at Deitricht for a moment. "So I suppose I can't make you carry me, then." It had been a joke, but it didn't sound like one. Mari never sounded like she was joking. You just had to think about what she was saying, and consider if she was kidding or not.
Marion then heard the screams and yells, and sighed, then sat down on the turtle shell that had appeared around Sally and crossed her legs. "Well, she's a tough girl. She'll make it on her own." Then her eyes traveled to the tiny girl (Who, really, wasn't that much smaller than Mari) , and she blinked, but the dead, bored look remained. "Yeah. You can come. Just stop stuttering. It's irritating." Mari could be rather harsh. The worst part was that she didn't think she was being harsh. She just was.

She was a bit surprised when she was told that her stuttering was annoying, but she didn't think harshly at her. She was probably right, but Aisha had never talked to anyone before, so she didn't know what to say a lot of times. Looking at the others, and then back to the girl, she gave a small bow and said. "T-Thank you." She gulped when she realized that she had stuttered again, but she hoped that it wasn't noticed. Trying harder to talk this time, she said. "I'm Aisha, a cat +anima.."
(You know I've always wondered..when they say +Anima, do they say it as "plus anima" or something else? Plus Anima sounds really funny though)

Henry's ears went erect. Traveling together? "Like friends?" He said out loud, quite excited. A small smile made it's way across his face, but quickly vanished as he realized how childish he was being, his ears also flopped back to their original position. "Uhh well, I wouldn't mind, but." He paused, "Do you have a nickname or something, I don't think my tongue could handle that much maneuvering. Can I call you Rich?" The Hare +Anima smirked, addressing Deitricht. Maybe if I didn't act so melancholy, they'll like me a bit more. I hope it works this time. All of a sudden, a scream seemed to pierce the area. Henry's ears twitched. Sally fell to the ground and called for her sister as she began to withdraw herself from the crowd. His eyes widened in fear, as he began to panic. His ears were picking up way too many things at once and a headache started to flare up. He put a hand to his forehead, trying to concentrate on something else to take the over-stimulation of sound away from his mind.
