"I could be reasoned to show you home if you promised to come back tomorrow," he specified, trotting around her as she was laid on the ground. He didn't want to her to flee and never come back, and then he'd have to stalk into her pasture and probably get in trouble, maybe he could kidnap her... that would solve everything.

Letho seemed to consider it for a moment; The truth was she had no intention of returning, regardless of what she would say.
But, fortunately, Letho was rather good at lying. She tapped a front hoof on the ground and nodded the slightest bit, sounding every bit as sincere as she was sure he wanted her to, "Fine. I will return tomorrow if you show me the way back."

Being a creature full of hate and mistrust, and his own sly demenor he smiled. "If you're late I'll have to come remind you."

She reflexively rolled her eyes and shrugged.
"Fine. Then I won't be late." she insisted. She'd just be elsewhere. At least she planned to be. He could not get her if he did not know where she was, right?

"If you don't come back I'd be disappointed," he merely stated, glancing into the distances around them. He could easily tell her where to go, or show her back to his box. She wouldn't know until they got there if he led her the right way or not.

She hesitated a moment before rising to all fours, this time not from falling.
"Then where do I go?" she asked softly, peering around the same as he did.

He watched her intently as she rose off the ground and stood, with a surprising gap between them, beside her.
"Northeast," he simply stated. "Can't you stay here with me?"

Letho looked towards the setting sun and then further right, she stared intently before turning her attention back towards Nightshade's Fury.
"So that you could..." she paused, "I think I have had enough of you for one day." she shook herself off as best should could then added, "Especially if I am to return tomorrow."

He didn't say anything more to reply to her rejection, and walked in front of her, guiding her in the north east direction. His tail seemed to stand still, and his ears were squeezed backwards. It was surprisingly quiet in the field now.

Letho followed silently, her eyes taking in the change in his pose. She suddenly felt like she had done something wrong, something needlessly mean.
But she really wanted to go home.
She looked towards the slowly setting sun and stopped walking. It had not even reached the horizon, there were still a decent number of hours before the sun would set and she would find herself shrouded in a moon-lit darkness.
Letho stood there, silently staring at the sun, her ears twitching the slightest bit when a breeze chased through the field.

Nightshade's Fury took a few more steps before also stopping, and then turning around. His glance suggested curiosity as her stopping perked his interested as to why. He tilted his head.
"Why do you stop?"

Letho blushed, it was pale beneath her coat so probably not very visible, but she blushed none-the-less.
She cleared her throat and lifted her head to look around the sky in search of the moon that was surely itching to take over the sun's post.
"Well... The sun is still up..." she began, keeping her gaze heaven-bound, "I could... Stay for a while longer."
She hurredly added, "I am sure the sunset is beautiful out here, I would like to see it."

He didn't really understand but he nodded. If you like the sun so much, he thought. He didn't understand what the sun had that he didn't. "Then you'll stay."

A part of her was glad that he did not seem to understand, but he still seemed unhappy, even though she was staying longer.
She cleared her throat again, "Well..." she looked down towards the ground and drew little circles with a hoof, trying to figure out what else to say.
"Maybe you know the best place to watch the sun set?" she asked as casually as she could manage.

He looked at her intently and then looked over and nodded towards a high to the near left. "Over there has a nice view," he suggested, not giving her a choice as he wandered towards it.
