Tilting her head slightly she closed her eyes, smiling sweetly as she laughed cheerfully. " I cant seem to figure out just where i am, luv.. or why you helped me. Last thing i remember before this place is blood everywhere.. a church Isle i think." It was odd that she would seem so cheerful about looseing her memory.. yet to her, it didnt matter. she existed by enjoying her passions as she went.. memory didnt hold much importance to her. in a innocent gesture she pushed a hand through her hair, baring her neck and shoulder in a unaware seductiveness as she laughed joyfully again. " i owe you enough as it is, Sweetie, but i really need to know where the nearest flower shop is." she was out.. there was no reason not to go back to enjoying herself.

" Hi Antony." standing she casted a look at Lexi, then looked back at her mother and Bones with a childishly sly smile. " I named my wolf after you, Antony. An i named Suri after mommy.. Aunt Riley took me to this old lab place and showed me around... she said that i'd have to learn from my mommy when she found her for me. she said i needed closer family an she couldnt teach me like she did him." she looked around again, as if afraid her aunt would materialize out of thin air, then added in a giggled whisper. " Know what? She doesnt want anybody to know who she is really, so shhhh!"

She grew very quiet for a moment, seeming to study both her mother and Bones before nodding.. her enthusiasm bounding forward again as she caught Dana's pant leg and bounced lightly on her feet, trusting her new friend and her mommy. " She's Jack the Ripper! Then she was a cult Mistress, an she taught her baby brother an has been watching over him." twirling her finger in her skirt she tilted her head at them.. growing solem as she added frightenedly. " But you cant say you know cause she'll kill you, she made something called Black Death cause humans hurt her brother, an she can sick it on you so dont say you know ok?"

" i do hope so, i have this new idea that will be quiet a blast." Smiling she took his hand, lifting the other to deminstrait her gift. a pale blue rose slid from her palm, the perfect bloom laying gracefully in her gentle hold as she giggled delightedly. " This will go on the ring bearer's head peice, and just as the little girl gets half way down the isle.. " the tattoo on her hip flared and the rose vanished in a roaring inferno.. the flames the exact same shade of blue the flower had been. unharmed by it she droped her hand, adding thoughtfully. " Maybe more than one.. it needs to be a larger bang if everyone is going to experiance it.." just as she took a step forward a blast of black magic pushed her away, her back hitting Avarice's chest as she looked out with a curious expression.

Riley stood in the clearing near them.. her stance deceptivly relaxed as she studied Yuri, hardly glancing at the others. Only the black aura around her gave away just how pissed off she was.. her red eyes flashing as she pinned her gaze on Dana. " why isnt she in the safe zone." there was no question in her voice, just a demand.. her expression making it clear she wouldnt blink if she had to kill them to get Yuri back to the safe house.

Instinctively, Avarice's arm wrapped securely across Lexi's shoulders, holding her firmly against his chest. The black magic that had forced Lexi against him felt...familiar. As he adjusted his glasses with his free hand, Avarice inspected the newcomer. She looked familiar too, but where had he seen her before?

"Yes," Bones replied, "I wouldn't harm Yuri." It was obvious this...Riley was pissed, but whether he was reassuring the child's safety for her sake or his own, had yet to be determined.

However, when Dana mentioned herself, Avarice, and he teaching Yuri about necromancy, he grew uneasy. Working alongside his most hated tormentor? He shuddered inwardly.

There was no warning, Riley stepping between the two and slaming a hand into Phantoms midsection.. sucking a great deal of her magic away and carting the woman a few pases back as she held her Kanata even with her heart. this wasnt the playful Riley that had teased Phantom before.. this woman was all power and promise. her black hair coiled like snakes as her eyes glowed.. staying firmly infront of Avarice as she bared pointed teeth. " By Thy blood, or by Thy enemy.. back away." She was not in a good mood.. phantom would be injured if she attempted at Avarice once more.

Curling against Dana almost fearfully Yuri whispered quietly. " she isnt mean, Grandma! she just doesnt want you hurting her little brother..."

with a easy step Lexi placed herself just to his side, her posture relaxed and her smile kind as she lifted a red rose gently. " Please, dont upset her.. this magic is very unstable Dear."

Phantom's eyes turned black and she looked at Riley. "Riley, this is just between him and me." She growled back and looked at Avarice over Riley's shoulder. <******** you Avarice." She closed her eyes for a moment and mumbled a few words before vanishing from in front of Riley and back up onto the hill. "Being alive for over 300 years, you learn a few tricks to stay alive." She mumbled the same words and ended up behind Avarice, having mumbled words half way down, finished and quickly grabbing Avarice and disappearing with him. They ended up on the hill again and a blast of light hit him, it being a combonation of fire and lightning. She looked down at Riley with simpathetic brown eyes before turning back to black. "I won't kill him, I just want to get back at him for killing half of me." She threw another ball at him, aiming for his head this time instead of his feet.

Dana sighed and picked Yuri up. "Come on, lets let Grandma and Grandpa get through this together. Maybe he can woo her or something into at least having a truce." Dana looked at Antony and nodded to the building. "Wish to sit on the roof with us?"

"I wouldn't mind a better seat," Bones replied, grinning. "You know, Dana, I said Yuri could call me Antony. I guess," he said, rubbing the wolf's head, "It would make things less confusing."

Avarice snarled, teeth enlongating, claws extending. The previous attack hadn't hurt a bit, merely tickled. Still, he didn't appreciate her harming those that wished to place themselves before him. "Foolish, Phantom," he hissed, "it's obviously a battle you cannot win, don't you see?" A fine red line appeared across Phantom's cheek, a single tear of blood cascading down her skin. They hadn't even seen Avarice move.

"My only regret, Phantom, is that I only killed half of you. I do terribly loath leaving a project unfinished." A project, that's what he referred to as the relationship they'd shared. Side-stepping, another set of fine red lines appeared across her back, these deeper, the blood darker.

The wolf stood and nudged Antony up towards the fire exit stairs.. crouching unil Yuri slid on his back. the little girl looked perplexed, and even a little afraid as she looked at her aunt. she had never seen Riley so ruthless.. and she didnt like seeing her grandpa hurt her grandma. with a forceful jerk she directed Bones away from the stairs, the wolf loping up the hill until the little girl was at Avarice's legs. sliding off her wolf she lifted a hand, a barrier forming around Phantom as Yuri hugged Avarices leg.. her face hid against his thigh as she asked pleadingly. " stop fighting!"

Riley wordlessly stood away, accepting that Avarice could protect himself for now. catching Lexi's uninjured arm she led the girl to the side, sitting her down and studying the burns critically. they were nasty.. fire and lightning, she was lucky the human was not fainting with pain. " can you still move your hand?"

Without complaint Lexi flexed her hand slowly, blood welling on her lip as she kept from uttering a sound. attempting a light hearted tone she patted Riley's hand soothingly, saying firmly. " it will heal.. though im not much use right now. go on, i wont wilt away from this little thing." Only when Riley turned away did she start to dig into the earth, covering her hand with the soothing soil as she let the tension drain out of her. but damn, did it hurt.

"True, no one will be like your very first wife, your fist love. As you were not my Vaidin. But you can not say you didn't care for me in some way, even if I was just to grow your name, they will always have me in them now." Phantom continued to chuckle and stood straight, all her cuts almost gone now with her healing ability. "I am not to be pitied Avarice, for there is nothing left. I have been completely broken and might as well jump off a cliff, but you will suffer because you will never have Coraline back, no matter how powerful your Necromancer power is. And the children that she spawned are dead said one, and he hates you for getting me pregnant even though it was his fault."

Phantom turned her back to Avarice and looked down the hill to Dana. "And your daughter, who loves you, tries to make you happy, will always look like me, your project." A blood tear ran down her face and she looked at Avarice with a smile on her face. "I will never die Avarice, and neither will you. Sooner or later our paths will cross again. Vaidin had the right idea and went into war for the good. You were the thing he was trying to distroy when he died. Karalin loved you, and she was not of your blood. What do you think of her?"

Dana came up the hill and stood next to Avarice where Yuri was. "Come on daddy. We need to get out of here before mother goes into her sorrow. When that happens she leaves craters in the ground."
