It has come to my attention that gift wrapping is no longer available because of the layout change. Please dont fret. xd DM and I will still expect them. We're just going to keep tabs on what item is for whom.
(OMG DM clearify if this is true) XD

Okay, well, here is a sum up of the secret santa program for 2005. Manwe and I headed up this job with good intentions all around. There were several hiccups and I tried to quell them as quickly as possible. One issue was the deadlines. I didn't have deadlines to start with and that was fixed with reasonable resaults in my oppinion. The second big deal were the trades. The biggest problem I had were people sending more than one box or several items with no boxes at all. There was even a trade for a couple of boxes and some gold. As far as the boxes went, they were no problem. Very easy to keep track of except the ones wrapped by mules. All of the boxes identify who it was that wrapped them. When I started getting items, it was trickyer to set up my inventory to recall who sent what for who and in the end I had to send PM's out to verfy what was suppose to be wrapped. I tried to keep notes and tabs on everything in my mail box, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. I am still waiting to hear from a couple of people as to what it was they sent me. Star, I appologise greatly for any inconvienence this might prove for you. Jakkin, I am still waiting to find out what it is I am suppose to send you because all I have left are items and I am not sure what items are for you. As soon as I find out though, it will be in the bank. Manwe and I tried our best to randomise recipients, but there were two unfortunate events. One person was hacked and the other dropped out all together. We did have one person interested in jumping in a little late and that helped a great deal. One unfortunate oversight lead to two people getting each other. Although it isn't seen as an oversight, it has been speculated that one pair was fixed but like I said, it wasn't planned to be that way. All in all, I feel that it was a complete success and there were good times to e had by all. A total of 34 peopple signed up not including myself and Manwe. So, I am sorry if there were a few discrepencies with the program. Please do not use this as fuel to not participate in next years event should it happen. This is my first time running such an evolution and it was no easy task competing with the site upgrades, bugs, giftwrapping being hidden, real life events and trying to manage so many gifts at one time. Manwe and I really appreciate all of your patience and understanding and hope that we can be apart of it again in the future! Please, feel free to leave comments in my prfile. I welcome complaints and praise alike. Any criticism is helpful. biggrin
Till next time,
DM
