Thats usually what my problem is, its all the math. Theres just so much math for a lot of things, it just gets me confused. I personally find it a miracle that people like kouri and carlos understand, but they have more experience so thats fine

The whole system is based in the same formula.

This + this modifier = total

Or DC= 10 + this + this.

Is very simple once you get used to it lawl.

Kenkaru I was wondering I understand that the system is based off of d20 system (with a few changes) does that mean that you have played D&D or another game with d20 system before.

Good news I am convincing Ari to come back to the guild, so Uchiha Mahiro might start lurking around biggrin .

Ha Ari might come back to? I guess not as a big deal to me since the only time i RP'ed with her i was put in the super Genjutsu so she could have a conversation with you <.<

I count Sky as one of your former equals. Though you beat him in combat at the Chuunins, i think you even admitted he was one of the greatest RP-ers this guild has had. Shame the b*****d left before we could finish the Kurai/Shadow drama <.<

And speaking of the Chuunins you fought Skyler, is your Keigoku still alive? I couldn't remember for the life of me what happened, i just remember for a while Kurai felt he failed as a father figure and started upping our training and mission difficulty so we would be strong. That was painful <.<

I been playing D&D since 7 - 8 years ago, I played Advanced D&D, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 even if 4.0 Made me lol and we ditched the idea of playing that anymore. I also played the D20 modern game and Call of Ktull-s**t, hell I even played the star wars roleplaying game one that made lol the most XD.

Also I was a hard core Diablo and Diablo 2 player, as for MMORPGS besides Diblo I hard play Ragnarok online and played Tales of pirates for like 3 days before getting bored to death of the game lolz.

I tried WoW and final fantasy XI, both made me ZzZzZzZz Specially WoW... WC3 was great but WoW is just child's play sad .

@Zineal: My Keigoku was ditched, I felt the clan to be over powered and ditched him. In the chunins I did beat skyler, lol it was really fun s**t. Good match I tell ya. He was a great match as a RP'er but still cannot beat me in combat Q_Q.

As for Ari she usually likes to play the role of the char that moves plots from the shadows rather than the role of the character that interacts with people lolz. Since she barely have time to rp much in the first place.

Yeah I have been playing for like 4 years(hardcore)and (7 years off and on ) and I have been DM for 3 almost 4 of those years. But I really like 4th ed I used to play 3.5 and my group moved to 4th ed when the books came out and no one really misses it . I have to say I really don't miss 3.5 that much it was really slow compared to 4th ed. WoW really does suck I played for like 4 mouths and quit after playing games I neglected during that time.

Haha yeah Keigoku's are powerful, that's actually the same reason i killed off my Uchiha.

Haha she seemed busy, but oh well! It would be cool if she came back, then we'd have a giant chunk of the original group. Then i could work on getting my generation back <.<

I agree with Citrus, 4th is nice. It's balanced well. Except for ******** striker classes, i still say they're broken. But everything else is pretty well done i think. It sort of makes it so tactics and strategy is useful, while in 3.5 it was just sort of "I hide behind a rock, and then kill things". Though the battles is 4.0 last a really long time, but it makes it more dramatic, but still a hassle when you have limited time.

I've never been big on MMORPGS, in truth this guild is the closest thing to an online game i have haha

I find 4ed too easy and too straight forward. We played 3 loong 4ed stories and the character abilities can be turned into over powered combos that really lead to an MMORPG style combat, since our campaigns tend to be WAY more realistic and way more drama oriented you get to see a huge difference between both editions if you play with us. Also we developed many house rules since my team is based on a bunch of genius pretty much lawl.

We really enjoyed 3.5 ed cause we created hella lot of epic characters combination. While on 4ed it was too straight forward. 4ed offered a few things I liked but my campaigns tend to be a mix of everything i like in every edition more than by the book campaigns.

Yeah, i'll agree that at times 4 can be easy. The typical style with 4 is something like 'three easy combats' and then 'one insane boss combat'. The boss combats are usually pretty well done, but i agree that i wish all combats were at boss difficulty. I think 4 does lower levels better, and 3.5 does higher levels better, but that's just my opinion. And i can agree on the overpowered combos, they're called strikers <.<

What i think i like about 4 is it seems like your rolls do what they're supposed to. Fighters can actually protect their wizards now (before if a fighter attacked you it was just a matter of shift back, charge the spellcaster). Of course there were ways to align your party and different formations to use, but it still seemed silly to me. Still, i'll agree that 4.0 gets insanely easy once you get a second daily, but low levels are incredibly fun. Haha i feel so nerdy <.<

Sorry for the long post, i've been without people bumping a topic for like an hour, i need social interaction <.<

Lol there is exactly the reason why my party sticks to 3.5, we don't follow the standard rules of what a party should be, we build characters based on personalities and backgrounds so in many cases a wizard is the the front line about to defeat an enemy and a fighter who is piss off at him might go defeat the monster and cleave the half dead wizard, in many cases the party is a bunch of enemies that work together just to survive, my dungeons are build in a way people is more scared of the dungeon and the consequences related to it than to the idea of obtaining loot or lvling up. I seen paladins having to aid chaotic evil clerics just to survive and the other way around. This guy might be my enemy i should destroy him but if i don't help him I be the one to fall and with me many other innocents shall fall as well. That's my personal DMing style.
