Seifer, Squall, and Kukki
Seifer scrunched up his nose in a cute gesture and rolled over. Had he been awake, he would have threatened anyone who would have dared to call him cute, but, with him being asleep, he didn't. And he was.

In sleep, Seifer seemed more at peace with the world and a lot less frightening without his customary arrogant smirk. Although his precious gunblade lay by his side, he seemed almost angelic, something that never happened when he was awake, by choice or design. Seifer twitched again on the emerald pillow he had chosen as his sleeping spot and curled up into a tighter ball, attempting to shield himself from the outside world.

Kukki rolled over in her sleep. She had been sleeping all day, only waking up to write a bit in her journal. Her ear twitched as she rolled once again, bumping into a Dream with blond hair and gray-ish fur. She took no notice though, and only curled up next to the added warmth even more. Mmm, she loved the warmth...

Well, he didn't seem too evil or annoying... but that was because he was asleep. Squall's ear twitched as he watched the two sleeping Dreams beneath him from his spot, high on the bookshelf. Then again, he never was able to give this... Seifer... a fair chance at getting to understand him. Not that it mattered, because every time that Dream was anywhere near, Squall could almost feel the fur on the back of his neck stand on end. But he looked so, dare he say it, peaceful. Just sleeping there along with the much younger female Dream.

Squall shook his head. What was he doing? This was the guy that would annoy him to no end, as if he wanted to start a fight. "..." Yeah? So Squall was a softy at heart. Er, or just a softy most of the time, but just not wanting to show it. He jerked his tail to the side trying to stop himself from thinking. He shouldn't be thinking like this. He thought of too many things. He should just go.

The brunette started to turn, getting ready to jump off the shelf, when he lost his footing. The deathly surprized Dream summersaulted down the height, barely landing on the blond, and toppled off of him to once again stand upright. Squall's face turned a bright red showing even through his fur. He blinked for a second, trying to figure out what happened just then. How could he have lost his footing like that? He'd been in many more difficult places and never had that happen before. "... Sorry," he mumbled, hoping Seifer would understand what happened. Although Squall could just see that perviously serene looking Dream in a furious rage. He deserved whatever happened though, it was his fault for falling. How embarrassing...

Kukki could feel the slight tremor of someone landing right beside her, disturbing the warmth that she was sleeping by. Wearily, she opened her eyes and sat up, wondering what had caused her to wake up. She blinked. She had never seen this Dream before! And... Well, she just had to introduce herself.

"Hiya... I'm Kukki. Where'd you come from?" she asked. Oh, if only she were more awake to give a more reasonable answer...

Seifer awoke immediately. He sat up, breathing hard and staring at Squall. His jade eyes held a frightened, almost hunted look that he hid as quickly as possible.

Calm down... It was just a dream... no reason to get worked up... Seifer thought, closing his eyes, both to hide the terrified gleam and to help him keep cool. He let out a breath and looked up at Squall once more. "...It's all right..." he murmured, shifting to look around. He spotted the Dream behind him and looked down on her gently. Seifer turned and stretched his paws out in front of him. He rested his head on his paws and stared pensively into the fire in front of him, forgetting about the brunette for the moment.

Well that was... unexpected... But what was he so... frightened of? The brunette's attention was drawn away from Seifer only by the small voice of the emerald dream, "... Squall, and it doesn't matter," he said quickly and to the point, not wanting to end up answering twenty questions like he usually had to with younger Dreams. His eyes wandered back to Seifer. Did he dare push his luck?

"... Are you all right?" he dared asking, knowing there was the chance that the blond would go back to his usual sarcastic self. But, he didn't know, there was something that seemed to be bothering him.

"...Oh." was Kukki's answer. Apparently, this guy didn't like talking... That was a first! Kukki slowly went to Squall and nuzzled his leg affectionately, not noticing what was going on between the Dream she was nuzzling and Seifer. She was much too sleepy to notice much of anything, really.

"Hm..." Seifer looked back up at Squall. "I'm fine. Why do you ask?" Seifer wondered. He hadn't yet realized just how odd he had been acting, compared to how he normally acted around the brunette.

Flippin' Awwww!
Seifer yawned and rolled over. He had reclaimed the random green pillow in front of the fire. His eyes were open the slightest bit. Seifer was awake, but trying to decide between staying that way or going back to sleep. At least this time, he was incoherant enough that his dreams wouldn't bother him... Although Plushi was probably going to yell at him for running off... but that would come later.

Squall yawned and side stepped a bit, walking over to the couch. He had just spent the entire night chasing after both Yuffie and Clover as they made plans to blow up the pine tree in front of Guine's little house. Why the pine tree? Apparently, it had insulted Yuffie's full name and refused to speak to her thereafter. Clover claimed she had witnessed the entire thing and began to draw up war plans against the pines then and there.

But now that he managed to convince Beatrix into -teaching- them the proper way to start a battle and how battles were won, he was able to get a break. Although, Beatrix probably wouldn't be the -best- role model in this situation. Squall blinked as he rounded the turn to the front of the couch. Seifer was sleeping again? Squall gave a weary glance up at the bookshelf. He wasn't about to do the same thing twice.

Seifer smiled lightly as he looked at Squall. He still couldn't find the energy to open his eyes all the way. "Hey, Pee Bee, what's up? Trying to escape the insane females you live with?" he slurred. He didn't even have the energy to let his brain think about what he was saying before saying it. Oh well. He was warm and comfortable and now, he had some interesting company. Life was good...

Pee... what? Squall eyed the blond for a bit. He hoped he hadn't been drinking. But... how was he able to guess about the chaos at home? Just a random guess? "...You know, under age drinking is illegal," he finally said, trying to keep himself from dozing off as well.

"What makes you think I been drinkin'? You tryin' to say I'm a bad boy, Pee Bee?" Seifer wondered. He wasn't drunk... anymore... just half-asleep. "Come 'ere." he said, gesturing to the large pillow. "It's more comfy than the couch."

Squall frowned at him, wondering what he was up to. Why was he being nice? "... I'll be fine right here," Squall mumbled, not moving from his spot. He still wasn't sure if he could trust this Dream yet. It would be best to be safe rather than sorry, or so the cliche goes.

Seifer pouted, something he would never do if completely sober and awake. "Come on, Squally. I'm not gonna hurt you or nothin'. ...I don't bite... hard." he added with a suggestive look.

A bit taken aback at the blond's comment, Squall stood his ground. "I'll be fine by myself, thanks," he finally said, not at all wanting to give in to what Seifer wanted. And, Squally? Why such a girly nickname? Squall wasn't girly... was he? This was so confusing, and why was Seifer so different than usual? Squall was getting a headache just trying to process everything...

"Don't hurt yourself there, Pee Bee." Seifer muttered sarcastically at the look on Squall's face. He rolled over and yawned, brain trying to process everything through the haze of alcohol and sleep.

"...Will you though?" Seifer wondered as his eyes closed. "Will you really be all right on your own, with no one to go to when things get to be too much? Do you think you can really survive like that, not relying on anyone but yourself?"

Squall turned his head to stare at the floor next to him. Would he be fine? "... Sure," he said, unbelieving he was actually saying anything, "If I have to rely on someone, it's best that I rely on myself. I trust myself to do what is necessary so why should I trust and worry about others?" Was that true, though? Did he really only trust himself? It was kinda sad now that he thought about it. But that's life, right?

Seifer turned around, looking at Squall with surprisingly clear jade eyes. "Just how many times a day do you tell yourself that you don't need anyone? That everything is fine as long as you don't let anyone get too close?" Seifer wondered, watching Squall carefully. "Who are you going run to when it gets too quiet at night, when stress turns into a physical pressure on your body, or when nothing seems worth it anymore?"

Seifer turned back to the fire. "It doesn't work like that, Squall. I've been there and done that. Unless you wanna end up like me - worthless, alone, and rejected - just... open yourself up. Even if it's just to one person... Just someone to help you keep it all together..." Seifer trailed off, closing his eyes tight. The brunette reminded him too much of how he himself used to be and he didn't want to see someone with so much potential end up like himself.

Squall listened silently as the blond spoke. It was almost scary; how well Seifer seemed to know him. He was so used to keeping to himself, working to keep his mind off of things, being alone, the whole deal. Squall shook his head, "Don't say that about yourself. No one is worthless. At least that's what I'd like to believe," he said softly, his stormy grey-blue eyes wandering, finally coming to a rest on the blond. But the fact was, he didn't want to open up to anyone for that fear of being rejected, finding out he himself was worthless. It would be best for him just to shut everyone out. It was safer that way.

"Sorry, kid, but it's true. I'm not worth anything to anybody." Seifer said with no amount of self-pity in his voice. This was honestly what he knew to be a fact. As far back as he could remember, he had failed at everything he ever wanted to do. Failing at being a Knight was simply the final straw. Now, he had no desire to do or be anything. After all, you can't fail at something if you don't try to do it in the first place.

Having half the mind just to let Seifer go along with that thought, Squall opened his mouth to say 'Whatever' but stopped himself before the word came out. Seifer had obviously not met too many people or Dreams if he was worth nothing. Then again, Squall thought the same of himself. As much as he wanted to be worth something, it was hard when no one was around.

Wanting to say something to cheer the blond up, but not being able to think of anything good to say, Squall sighed and tried to change the subject. "... I'm not a kid," he began to say, but then thought better of it, "... Whatever, does your offer still stand with letting me use that pillow too?" he asked, standing up, wobbled a bit as he became a bit light headed from getting up too fast, did a fancy little side step to keep himself from falling, and sitting back down. Second though, he probably shouldn't move anyway...

"Aww... Getting lonely over there, Pee Bee?" Seifer teased. However, he was carefully to keep it just a friendly kind of teasing, not wanting to offend the one Dream that would talk to him... sort of. "Course," Seifer moved over, leaving Squall some room on the comfy emerald pillow, "Come lay down before you hurt yourself," Seifer stated, watching Squall almost fall.

Squall shot a tired glare at the blond. "I was not getting lonely," he said, trying to come up with a good excuse, "I just didn't want to... get on the couch. That's all," he insisted as he once more tried to stand. After standing was accomplished, Squall made his way over to the pillow and lied down at the farthest corner away from Seifer. He didn't want to look desperate or anything.

"...Whatever you say, Pee Bee." Seifer stood up long enough to shrug out of his trenchcoat and place it reverantly on top of Hyperion, which was laying beside the pillow. "It wouldn't do for her to get too hot to carry..." he muttered, flopping back down on the pillow. He wasn't really all that tired anymore, but he didn't feel like getting up. Now he was warm, comfy, and he had something pretty to look at. Life was good again.

The brunette would have said something about him telling the truth so that Seifer wouldn't get the wrong idea. He also would have wondered about why the blond was so worried about his gunblade when no one else really knew how to use it. Prehaps the thought of 'Why emerald?' would have crossed Squall's mind... that is of course if he were still awake. Poor thing didn't know how tired out he was until he laid down. Then again, after running after Yuffie and Clover all night, anyone else who wasn't as stubborn and proud as Squall was would have probably been out cold long before. Darn kids...

Seifer smiled, actually smiled, at the sleeping brunette. He was actually quite cute when he wasn't frowning or scowling or glaring. Seifer got up carefully, trying his hardest not to wake Squall, and moved around so he was curled around the smaller Dream. Now this was MUCH better. Seifer yawned and rested his head beside Squall's on the pillow. He was then lulled to sleep by the heat and comforting presense of the Dream beside him.

Rowan and Sachi
Crunch... Crunch... The grass bent in half as small paws pressed down on them. A small smirk formed on the Kit's face as he stalked a dangerous beast. A horrible, ugly beast with long hairy legs. BUT! It was now cornered; no where for it to escape to! Soon, the young hero will rid the land of this monster... Just a pounce attack away...

The Kit's tails swished a bit then- ATTACK! He pounced at the butterfly, who in return, took flight, away from the Kit's wannabe claws. He lunged for it again, but to no avail! It was too high for him to reach and flying would be cheating! He pouted and flopped on his back into the grass. This place was so boring...

Magenta colored wings flapped softly, carrying the beautiful Deejarne in the most elegant way. Both paws were kept close to the creatures chest, while her hind legs were kept high above the ground. Three tails softly swayed with the gentle gust of winds, and soft fur curled on each tip of the tails. Purple hues glanced about her surroundings, taking in every single detail. This place was almost as beautiful as her, but nothing could ever out match her beauty. The spirit Dejarnee giggled at the thought, it was so surreal. " Its perfectly quite in here, better than being at home with my pesky little family. Always screaming, and running around like wild animal. Elegant, blessed dreams like me can't stay in such a place!"

Just then the purple Deejarne spotted something bright and orange on the other side of the field. "I just hope it isn't just a normal Dream. They just don't have anything in common with me, and are just so immature." The thoughts of Tomoni chasing after Kiro, Naomi obsessing over something, and Aaron staying far far away from everyone entered her mind. Why did she have to be born into such a family!? "Hey you over there! May I ask your name and the name of this place?"

Huh? Was someone talking to him? The young Deejarne looked up and around for who might be talking. Maybe they could hunt together! Or pull pranks on the other Dreams! Or- Oh... wait, it's only a girl... He rolled his dark orange eyes and flopped back onto the grass. "No... go away," he snapped at her. She wasn't important, she was only a girl. Stupid girls always getting in the way and never wanting to have fun.

"How dare you speak to me like that! Don't you know who your speaking too!? Sachi, the Spirit Dejarnee, thats who! I feel so disrespected!" Sachi growled at the blessed Dream below her, not knowing that he too was a spirit Dejarnee. Short fox like ears flared up with anger, both purple hues narrowing. Really, who did he think he was!? So rude, just like that silly Aaron! Always with those cold, harsh comments about everything. A Dream like her should be respected, and loved every single minute of her life! "Now I demand you to tell me your name! Or I'll just have to hurt you!" Another hiss came from the female, hopefully threatening the other Dejarnee.

Ooooh! What was she going on about now?!? He looked up at her with mounting dislike. Why did she have to keep yappin' about stupid stuff? Letting out an annoyed sigh, the orange Deejarne pushed himself up from his spot on the ground. He streached his wing, jumped up, and hovered just a little higher than the soiled purple brat so he could look down at her. "First off, no one cares who you are. Go tell a rock for all I care. Second," he smirked, leaning to whisper in her ear, so close that their cheeks almost touched, "You couldn't hurt me if your life depended on it!"

Sachi stared blankly at the other Dejarnee, shocked beyond words. How..How dare he! Not even Aaron stepped so low and gave her such dirty remarks. One petite paw slowly rose over her mouth, but gave the male a quick slap across the face. "Everyone cares about me! I'm Sachi! Everyone has to care about me no matter what! Everyone loves me! So you better get your act straight. Giving me a attitude! I only asked a simple question, there was no need for this! But you brought this all on yourself, you deserved that smack! I better here a apology soon, boy! Disrespecting a beautiful Dream like me." Sachi gave the male Dejarnee the most disgusting look she could make. Looking him up in down, almost puking at the sight of such a Dream. Dreams like him should be punished for such acts, PUNISHED! Punished so horribly that their lives would change, and they would become proper. They would behave, and not be so...so...disgusting!

What a wonderful way to meet someone. xD

The Deejarne smirked even with the girl's pathetic attempt at a slap. "What was that? You swattin' at a fly?" he mocked her, crossing his little arms across his chest. "Hmph! Well, I for one don't care about you! So there goes your little view on 'Everyone'! And what kinda name is that? It sounds like a sandwich! Puh-lease! Just 'cause you asked doesn't mean I have to answer!" he laughed, throwing his head back at the girl's stupid thought process. He quickly reached his paw over and ruffled the fur on the top of her head. "Go home, girl, you may break a nail out here," he gave a small wave and turned his back to her, planning to land. Stupid girl.

Sachi at this point could have exploded with anger! She'd never met anyone like him before, and was very thankful for it. In her mind she could just see this Dream and his family...a big group of smelly, mean, old men! Yes, so old and mean that they didn't know how to treat young female Dreams like her. Thats when Sachi began to giggle, no, laugh out loud. Tears of joy forming beneath those beautiful hues of hers. "This is sad, it really is. Your a waist of my time, boy. Your nothing to me, so it doesn't matter if I get your name or not. Fly away you disgusting thing. No one cares about you anyways, your just another out cast. I'm the important one around here, and I don't need you to agree with me...because I know. So flutter away little boy, and grow up." More laughter came from the female Deejarne, males were just so stupid, especially this one.

The young Deejarne stopped in mid descent, his ears perked up at the girl's rant. What was he doing? Slowly he hung his head and turned around to face the girl once more. A dark shadow of regret and remorse floated across his eyes as he looked back up at her. "... Gee," he started, his lower lip in a bit of a pout, "I never knew you felt that way..." he lowered his eyes sadly, "Here, let me make things right! How about I paint your nails, brush your hair, get you whatever desire," he paused, sarcasm already shining through those dark orange eyes of his, his pout turning into, what was becoming, his signature smirk, "Just tell me what you want, Princess, 'cause I'll do it, oh high and mighty!" He flapped his wings a bit to once again be at her level of elevation. "How about I blow trumpets every time you set your dainty little paw into a place. Maybe I should sing songs of your praise, Princess? You would like that wouldn't you? Maybe I should dress up and become your personal servant and bow to you whenever you lift a finger! Think again, Princess!" he tapped her on the nose with his paw, "You'll have to find someone else. I'm late for gagging from your prissy, better than everyone else, attitude!"

"Oh dear!" Indeed, Sachi was surprised by the Deejarne's sudden change of attitude. A arrogant smile soon formed on her tiny muzzle. Then she began to giggle, a paw lifted and covering her mouth. At this moment the spirit dejarnee was feeling very special. If she had no fur around those perfect cheeks of hers you would be able to see a blush. "Yes, You should do such things for me. Like I said, I am a special dream unlike you. Still, if you stick around with me long enough you'll start earning some type of respect." Sachi was too flattered to hear the sarcastic tone coming from the other dejarnee. Good thing he learned his lesson, Sachi thought. Now she had yet another fool following her every rule.

Boy did Sachi feel rather stupid after the male showed his true colors. Sachi didn't speak for a few minutes, just stared wide eyed. Muzzle gaped with surprise, her paw shaking nervously. What was she going to say now, she had no come back! This male had out witted her and made a fool out of her! Oh..oh god. Sachi felt sick now, which one fueled her anger. This time she didn't yell, but attacked. Bites, scratches, and much more attacking soon followed.

Ha ha! It seemed as though males do dominate over females! ((Guine: Yeah... right... >__>)) "You want a fight? Bring it!" he laughed at her, shaking off some of her 'attacks' and testing out a few interesting acrobatic moves he had been wanting to try out for a while. "You're not very strong you kno- HEY!" he yelped as one of her attempts managed to draw blood from his left front paw. What the? Crazy lady. He growled at her with narrowed eyes. Maybe he could ground her if he just... yeah! The corner of his lip curled as he licked off the blood that was forming on his fur. Then, with a quick spin, he made to whack her with his tails, hopefully catching her off guard. Heh!

Smack! Three tails smashed into Sachi's beautiful face, catching the poor female off guard. A muffled squeal was barely heard when the poor Dejarnee hit the ground below. She had landed on her side, three tails sprawled on the grounds, one hand on her throbbing cheek. Lids closed, covering hurt teary eyes. It was a sad scene to see, bringing tears to anyone's eyes. If the male Deejarne did not feel remorse...then he was a heartless dream, a nightmare. A tear managed to escape one of the lidded eyes, slowly crawling down Sachi's furry cheek. If Tomoni were around...he would go insane and cry his gay eyes out. He would scream, yell, and do much more things. Maybe even say that his little dejarnee had died, thank the lord he couldn't come into this realm. Hopefully, Sachi's plan would work perfectly. <3

HA! The orange Kit did a little victory summersault in the air. Tears did form at his eyes, though! In fact, he could probably die laughing right there and never know it! Stupid little girl! He crossed his little legs and arms and dropped a few feet to hover over the fallen purple Deejarne. "HA! See? There's no use in trying to fight me! I'll always be better than you, Princess!" He smirked down at her for a minute or so, but when she didn't do anything, he started to get a bit worried. "H-hey!" he stuttered landing on the ground beside her, "Oh, c-come on! It wasn't that hard!" He blinked at her, waiting for some type of response, but all she did was cry. Oh! Great! Guine was going to kill him for killing another Dream! Just great...

Waii~! Little Rowanie is such a cutie! Er, well, he's not exactly little anymore... but still! I think he might be a little too... confident for his own good. I mean, sure he's a Spirit Deejarne, and I'm sure he can handle himself, but I can't help but spaz out every time he comes home with a scratch! I'm such a mother... I do hope I'm not babying him too much. Heh...

Oh! We have one more new addition to our happy little family! Eh, well, our family isn't little any more, but still! His name is Uruz! Ha ha! I think he can give Uva a run for his money with his hyperness and such! Then again, their personalitles are oh so very different!

Rowan has been begging me to let him go to this place called Crimflow. I've heard from the others that it's a very unsafe place. Heh, so far I haven't let any of my Dreams there... just 'cause I'll spaz out if what happened to poor Nightshade happens to another one of my babehs. Poor Nightshade, I don't think she's ever gotten over that one battle. But she's so strong, she doesn't let anyone know how upset she really is.

Oh! Have I told ya'll? Uruz is an artist! Yes! I might have to ask Lord C-sama to make him a flute or something once he has time! Poor Lord C-sama! There's so much work for him!

Anyway, Clover has also been wanting to go to Nowhere with Yuffie. Heh, I don't think Nowhere is big enough for those too. I can just see Clover trying to wage war against all the Nightmares. Yuffie will be so excited about it, she'll just -have- to help. Heh... Bea's talked to the two of them about battles. Heh... Clover has announced that Bea is her general for the War. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to have those three together... Oh... Yuffie is Clover's spy/ninja lady... Where in the world are they getting these ideas?! I've got to keep them away from Vale's books... Heh...

Yuffie, Barret, and... Lloyd?
Barrett walked slowly into the shop, his metal gun-arm clanking softly as he seemed to have a limp, though before he started he made sure no one was around. A dream full of pride, he would let no one see just how hard it was for him to walk while dealing with the large metal appendage. Sighing, he paused by a couch and bent down slightly, jumping and landing on the soft cushions as he walked in a quick circle before settling down and looking around the room once more.

A pair of all seeing eyes loomed down over the shop. They belonged to an amazing ninja-girl named Yuffie. The Great Ninja Yuffie, many have chosen to call her. After a while of admiring her own great-ness, an annoying clanking sound caught her ear. What was that sound? The girl looked around from her perch, watching as a dark colored Dream made his way over to the couch. Ah! This must be the one making the noise! How did she know? Because she was amazingly gifted like that! The Dream stopped in front of her and the couch, then jumped on. Well! Yuffie must meet this loud Dream! So she jumped down from the back of the couch, onto the arm. "HIYA!" she said loudly, hoping to get his attention, "I'm the Great Ninja Yuffie! Who are you? And what's that?" she asked, pointing to his metal arm. She's just so respectful, isn't she?

Barrett turned suddenly, a frown crossing his features as his eyes narrowed, the dark chocolate color seeming to darken even more. Standing slowly, he looked at her form before looking to his arm and smirking. Swiftly, he lifted it and pointed it at her, clicking as the safety went off.

"I am Barrett...and this is my gun arm...care to see how it works?" He asked smuggly, showing his annoyance just slightly.

The girl's dark brown eyes blinked with amusement. "Awesome! It's nice to meet you, Barrett! Really? A gun arm? I've never heard of that before! Of course! I'd love to see how it works!" she smiled, swishing her tail a bit. "You're nice! Bea never lets me see how her sword works. But that's 'cause she's mean like that," she rambled on for a bit. This guy was funny! If she wasn't so wonderful and great, she might have thought his pointing at her would have been a threat!

Blinking, he almost faltered, before frowning once again, "Look here!" He grounded out, his voice scratchy, "Eh..." Rolling his eyes, he turned away and jumped off of the couch, "You are annoying." He stated simply, walking towards the door as he walked on only three paws, keeping his gun arm up and his head held high.

Yuffie paused, thoughtful, "Yeah, I get that a lot! But that's okay!" she insisted, jumping off of the couch, following after him, "We're gonna be great friends, aren't we?" she said, beaming at him as she walked. "Where are ya goin'?"

Barrett tensed but continued walking, opening the door with his gun arm and grinding out a short, "Outside." Before glanncing to her with his dark eyes, wondering why she was still following him. Either she was really stupid, or a genius at her tatics of annoyance. Either or, he wasn't sure he wanted her to follow him, but as he walked into the sun, he knew she would anyways.

"Outside?!" Yuffie exclaimed in excitement, "I love it outside! It's the best place to be!" she laughed, prancing after him into the sunlight. "What a beautiful day! Don't ya think so?" she asked, smiling up at him. "OH!" she announced her epiphany, "Let's play a game! How about tag? I love that game, it's so much fun! We should play that, yes!" she smiled, following her new friend with a skip in her step.

Barrett walked faster, ignoring her for a moment as he made his way towards the sand. Taking a deep breath, he stopped and turned to look at her and shook his head, "Sorry, but I don't play tag..." He looked at her for a moment before narrowing his eyes, "How old are you?"

"Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk," Yuffie laughed, waving a paw at him, "A lady doesn't reveal her age!" she smiled. But that smile soon turned into a pout, "Awww! But you haveta play with me! No one else is around to play with! Please? Please, please, please, please, please?!?" she whined, watching him with her large, brown, pouty eyes. Who could ignore that face? "I really wanna play tag~!"

Narrowing his eyes, Barrett turned away, "No." And with that he walked out on the beach towards the water, his metal arm glinting in the light. Sighing, he sat down by the sea edge right where the water almost hit his paws and just gazed out, trying to ignore the sensation to look back to where the other dream was.

Yuffie pouted as she was denied yet again. Who did this guy think he was? And how could he ignore her so darn well?! Maybe she just wan't trying hard enough! Yuffie followed Barrette up to the shore and sat down next to him. "Whacha lookin' at?" she asked, curious as to what he found more fun than tag. It wasn't healthy to just sit around and stare into space!

"The ocean..." Barrett responded softly, his eyes lidded softly as he stretched his paw out softly, his gun arm lifting slowly as he closed one eye fully. Taking a breath, he let the gun go to unleash a bang that echoed in the silence, the water splashing where he was aiming, "...and praticing my aim..."

The ocean?! How boring! Yuffie watched as he raised his arm and fired a blast into the water. "WHOA! That was awesome! Do that again! How far can you shoot? That was so cool!" she laughed, dancing in place. This guy was more interesting than she thought he was! "Shoot that!" she said, pointing at a random spot out in the water. This was so fun!

Barrett stood there with wide eyes but smiled slowly, a bit gruffly but a smile none the less, and nodded, "Sure why not." With that he lifted it again, and shot out to the point, smirking to himself he looked to her, "I can shoot it pretty far, but it all depends on which attack I have and when I use it..." He looked back to the water and his smile fell back to his emotionless gaze.

Yuffie watched him hit the spot she was pointing at, "You missed," she teased. "Hey! You smiled! You know, you don't look that ugly when you smile!" she grinned up at him. Yeah, she needs to learn when to shut up. "Now what are you looking at?" she asked again, almost positive that there was something interesting out there and she was missing it.

Frowning, Barrett gritted his teeth and moved away, "You know what...forget it, why don't you go spend some time in nowhere...and I can pratice here..." He nodded, waiting for her to laugh and skip off so he could be alone to relax and just look at the sea.

What was he trying to do? It almost sounded like he was trying to get rid of her! Well that won't do! No one shuns the Great Ninja Yuffie Kisaragi! That would be just mean! "But I wanna see you practice!" she pouted, "And Sissy says I can't go to Nowhere alone 'cause I might break something! Can you believe that? She's so mean sometimes!" she said, moving around in front of him so he couldn't ignore her.

"Than maybe you should go there to prove to her that she is wrong." He said shortly, adding in a yawn as he turned away to walk towards the house again. Sighing, he could feel her efforts to keep on following him, and decided if it kept up he would have to give in to make her happy and hopefully make her be satisfied to go away.

"But it's no fun going alone!" she whined some more, following after him. "Boring," she said softly, keeping in step behind him, "Boring, boring, boring," she said a little louder, "Everything's so boring! Why is it so boring? Boring!" she singsonged. "Boring, boring, everything is boring! Wahh! Barret! I'm bored!" she whined, not wanting to be ignored.

Barrett tried to ingore her, he really did, but as soon as she said his name, he grounded his teeth and turned around to face her,"What what? What do you want? I wont play tag with you..." With a grounded out grunt, he walked towards the door of the house, opening it and stomping inside, sitting down on the carpet and taking a deep breath.

Yuffie squeaked as she was suddenly face to face with an angry looking Dream. "Wahh? Why won't you play tag with me?" she pouted some more, following him in, "Have you ever played tag before? I'll go easy on you if you're really bad at it! I promise!" she nodded her head, walking around to sit in front of him once more. She let out a sigh of defeat and flopped onto her back; her four little legs up in the air. "Boring..." she sang some more, "Everything is boring! Such a boring place! Boring, boring!"

Gritting his teeth, he spoke slowly, looking to her with an emotionless gaze, "How do you expect me to play 'tag' with this?" He held his arm up and shook his head, turning away and lying his head on his paws, slowly thinking of just how he got his paw taken off, his eyes closing tightly.

Yuffie blinked at him. Really? Was that all he was worried about? "Don't worry! I said I would go easy on you! I'm not that fast anyway!" she insisted, looking him up and down. "Awww! Don't be sad! We can play another game instead! How about hide and seek? That's a fun game!" she pondered, trying to think up something he would be more comfortable playing.

He turned his back some more to her as he spoke again, "No thanks." His mind was traveling back in time, when he was a young dream and was left in nowhere up on the peaks. He could remember the cold and his mind going numb, and the point where he was suddenly hanging from the edge. Shivering, he swallowed slowly.

Yuffie cocked her head at him. Was he cold? Why was he shivering like that? She tilted her head as her eyes jumped around the room for something. Finally they landed on the couch. Ah ha! The cute little ninja Dream rolled over and stood up. She pranced quickly over to the couch and by standing on her hind legs, she was able to reach and pull down the afghan that was hanging over the edge. With much difficulty, she slowly dragged the blanket back over to the darker Dream. She let out a small sigh as she gave up on trying to get the blanket on him. "Here," she said, "If you're cold, that is." Why was she doing this? She had no clue, but strangely enough, she felt warm inside.

Turning his head slowly, his eyes opened to become half lidded, and he just blinked at her before standing. Smiling slightly once again, he moved to help her by grabbing it, putting it over him just to make her happy as he laughed slightly, "You know...you are a good kid." With that he lied back down, shifting to make it easier for him to be confortable.

She blinked at him. Kid? She wasn't a kid... Oh well, it didn't matter. She smiled and walked around to sit in front of him again. Hmm... Was it worth it? Should she even try? Sitting as proper as she could, she blinked at him again; she didn't see how he could call her a kid... "So," she started cautiously, "Does that mean you'll play with me?" she asked, with a nervous grin across her face, hoping he'd agree.

With a gruff grunt, he shruged and didn't move anymore, "Maybe." With that said, he watched amused as she sat there before closing his eyes, the blanket becoming a lot more confertable than he imaginged.

Yuffie wrinkled up her nose at his answer. Maybe could mean anything! She knew that because she used that word many times herself. She -was- a ninja, after all. She clicked her tongue as she watched him. He looked so comfortable and smug and enjoying himself. Then he stopped moving. She raised an eyebrow at the Dream under the blanket for a minute or so. Finally getting fed up with the silence, she poked him with her paw. "Hey, are you dead?" she asked, thinking it would be amusing if he really was. How old is this Dream anyway?! Sheesh! He could just keel over and die on the spot! She's so nice, isn't she?

Lloyd pushed the door open with the push of his paw, thinking that this would be a good hiding place. Ugh, he couldn't stand Kukki's talking about a certain history book for another minute! Now that he escaped, he was sure that he'd suffer her wrath when she found him again. He bounded into the room, then blinked as his eyes fell upon two other Dreams; A darker one, and a lighter, young looking one. "Uh..." Was all he could say. He didn't mean to see other Dreams...

Yuffie's head shot up in surprize as another Dream came through the door. She blinked a couple of times and looked back down at Barrett, who she assumed he probably was just taking a quick nap, so it wouldn't matter if she played with this new Dream for a bit. "Hiya!" she greeted, prancing over and circling to inspect him, "I'm the Great Ninja Yuffie! Who're you?" Yes, she had a similar greeting for every Dream she met.

Lloyd blinked a few times and watched the Dream circle around him. He was on guard, but he didn't think this Dream would be dangerous. "Great Ninja...?" He shrugged, then replied, "I'm Lloyd Irving. You seem... ah..." He watched her bounce a little. "...Hyper."

"Lloyd?" she snickered at his name, "What kind of name is that?" she asked as she stopped her inspection, figuring that he couldn't be too dangerous with a name like that. "Yes, I'm told that every now and then! More on the lines of 'hyper little twit' but just hyper is close enough!"

Lloyd frowned a little when Yuffie made the remark about his name. He could tell that if she went on like that, he would lose his temper. He sighed, keeping the growl out of his voice when he muttered, "My mom gave me that name..." He glanced at his swords before speaking agian, "I'm a swordsman... well, a double-swordsman, if you will."

"Really?" she asked, excited once again, "I keep hearing about everyone who has swords like you do, but they never let me see it! Do they think I'll break it or something?!" Yuffie rambled about her sword seeing problems. By the way; that's exactly why no one should let her see their items... that, and she'd probably try to swipe it for herself.

Lloyd backed away a few steps, already thinking that Yuffie was more terrifying than Kukki. "Ah... maybe they do! I mean, you're a ninja, not a swordsman.... sooooo... yeah." He nodded, grinning, as if all of this made perfect sense.

Yuffie cocked her head to the side at the strange male Dream. Why did he look like he wanted to run away? "Maybe they do what? And where are you going? I ain't gonna bite, ya know!" she said, advancing as he retreated. "Wanna play a game? I've been dying of boredom here!" she pouted, hoping this one was going to be a bit more active than the other Dream.

Wahh!! All my little ones are growing up so fast! ;__; Squall still takes care of everything tho... Beatrix helps some, but doesn't want to take over Squall's position. So instead, she likes to watch from the sidelines, and take care of the younger girls. o__o;; I don't think she likes males very much... maybe it's a domination issue. Heh...

Anyway, Bea, Clo, and Yu are almost always together! Heh, I think that's to Squall's liking; not having to watch those too fireballs... Actually, it's more like mixing fire and gasoline... Oh boy... BUT~! Bea is doing a good job at keeping those two at bay. I don't know why they enjoy eachother's company so much... They might be conspiring to do something... Joy...

Oh! Thymie babeh is opening up too! He no longer sulks in a random corner as much! But he won't talk to Nightshade for the life of him, and she won't talk to him. Poor kids... Thyme -will- talk to Fae and Jas tho! I'm so happy! I think he wants to help Fae watch the little Fancie and keep them both safe. Awwww!

Uva? Uva Ursi and Uruz had an... lets say interesting, incounter. Heh, I think Uva was kinda offended 'cause I brought in someone not only with close to the same name, but so much like him too. But Uruz is much more the stereotypical artist... er... musician... so he stays out of Uva's way. Poor Uva, I think he's suffering from Kiro-san withdrawal...

Rowan is still as loud as ever! XD Ha ha! But I think he's a bit scared of Bea... Actually, all the Dreams are a bit scared of Bea... o__o;; Creepy lady whom I love! XD She's so awesome!

Oh! Poor Vale is in the middle of everything that's going on between Uva and Uruz! Poor kid! I think they have both been friendly to him and he doesn't want to choose sides! Er... I wouldn't want to either...

Er... Well, Bea is a bit upset over loosing in her little battle... thing... Well, at least I think she's upset! D: Yu and Clo are making a bigger deal out of it than it is. Maybe Bea is just annoyed with their constant plots to hunt down the Dream who beat her. Heh... I think I should stay out of it...

Squall has been spending more time with Seifer lately! Gasp! It's lucky that he can't remember what happened in the past... Heh, I think their relationship would be a bit more complex if he found out how they used to try to... er... Well... If ya'll don't know then go play FF8! Sheesh! I have been thinking about getting Squallie a gunblade though... Heh, I just hope it doesn't bring back unpleasant memories.... Especially since Squallie is gonna be a daddeh soon! XD Yup! Somehow Seifer convinced him to go to the Earth temple... o__O;; Although, I'm not sure Squall knows exactly what Dreams do there... ^^;; Should I have told him? Maybe? Oh well! I hope we get to keep one of his possible daughters! heart

Everyone has been so lazy lately! I need to get them up and out more! Oy! :3

"Waii~!" an excited but pitiful cry came from somewhere outside the little house, causing all the Dreams near the door to look up in confusion. The door flung open and a half frantic, half thrilled cat-like girl with long black hair bounded in. "Cha! Ya'll will never guess what happened!" she squeaked, throwing at the slightly embarrassed Dreams a 'V for victory' as she leaned up against the doorway in all her wanna-be glory.

"You found out you're an idiot?" a sleepy, annoyed voice came from the turquoise Dream on the couch.

"You're the idiot, Thyme," a female Dream said as the cat girl in the doorway whimpered. The Dream was black with indigo eyes and speckled with random red hearts and other markings. She smirked down at Thyme from her seat on the back of the couch, who in turn glared back up at her.

"Shut up, Nightshade," Thyme hissed through a yawn.

"Both of you, shut up!" an even more annoyed voice came from the corner where a dark orange eyed Spirit Deejarne pounced away at the game controller.

The girl whimpered again, "Eh, really, there's no need to fight." Why was it that she was always ignored when Squall wasn't around? "Don't ya'll want to know what happened?" she tried asking over a rather loud argument that was erupting between Thyme, Nightshade, and the Deejarne.

"I want to know!" a high pitched squeaky voice came from a yellowish tan and green Dream on the floor.

"Yeah! Me too!" another Dream said, brushing her brown bangs out of her eyes.

"Thanks Clover. Thanks Yuffie," she smiled nervously at them, "But I want to tell everyone at the same time," she sighed, eyeing the loud verbal argument rage on between the three from earlier.

"-that's why you'll never find a mate!" the Deejarne smirked from his corner as both Thyme and Nightshade fumed and were just about to make a comeback when a soft 'buzzt' sound came from behind the Deejarne; said Deejarne spun around in horror. "Why did you do that?!" he yelled at the curly haired brunette lifted her paw off of the power button and turned to watch the now furious male with her one visible eye.

"I believe Ms. Guine is trying to tell us something," she said simply, brushing a large curl behind her shoulder. "I pray you listen, Rowan, it may be information which seals your fate," she added in her signature mysterious way and turned to watch the cat girl.

"Why 'Ms.'?" Guine groaned, but still worried that Rowan might pounce the mysterious older Dream any second. "Umm, where's everyone else?" she asked, looking around. There seemed to be a lot of her Dreams missing from the room.

"Clo and I will get them!" Yuffie piped up.

"Yeah! We want to hear what happened!" Clover squeaked and followed Yuffie out of the room.

"So, it is about Squall then?" the Dream with the band over her eye asked, not at all bothered by Rowan's growls of rage. Apparently he hadn't saved his game in a while. Nightshade and Thyme were very amused at the younger Deejarne's misfortune.

Guine cast a nervous glance over her should, then turned to the Dream and nodded.

"Tck," Thyme clicked his tongue, "What's so great about him anyway?-GAK!" Thyme tried to ask, but was suddenly pounced by a red and white Dream.

"Loser," Nightshade mumbled and moved to the side as the rest of the Dreams made their entrance through the doorway behind her.

"Thymie!" the red and white Dream gasped in fake surprise as the younger turquoise Dream struggled underneath him, "Has Squall come back yet? We are all so worried about the young lad!" he mused.

"Yes," an orange and red female Dream said in her usual barely-above-a-whisper voice, "It has not been the same around here without him. You agree, don't you Jasmine?"

The little purple and blue Fancie pouted from behind the female, "I miss him," she whined and clung to the Dream, "Is he home, Fae?" Jasmine asked, hopeful.

"Let's listen and find out," Fae answered, smiling down at the little Fancie.

The girl smiled, "Ha! You guessed part of it!" she said, beaming down at the curious Dreams. Er, well, most were curious. Rowan was just waiting for the brunette female to leave so he could turn his game back on. To his dismay, he was soon joined by both Clover and Yuffie.

"Squall's back?" a dark blue, aqua eyed Dream asked, hopeful it was true.

"That's what she said, wasn't it, Vale?" a red, golden eyed Dream said, coming up behind the dark blue Dream, "I have been looking forward conversing with him again!" he smiled, sitting next to Vale.

"Yes, he always has the most interesting things to talk about!" the red and white Dream said, cheery as ever.

"What Squall are you talking about, Ursi?" Thyme gasped, having finally managed to push the Dream who just spoke off of him.

"Really!" Nightshade said in disbelief, "Who the heck are you talking about Uva?"

Uva Ursi chuckled and made himself comfortable next to Thyme, "To each his own, young lady, to each his own."

"What the crap?" Thyme raised an eyebrow at the red and white Dream.

"You took the words right out of my mouth," Nightshade sighed, moving farther away from the grinning Uva Ursi and the less than happy Thyme.

"Guys!" Clover whined, making herself comfortable on Rowan's lap, "I want to know what happened!" Rowan tried to push her off once, but got a nasty glare from both Yuffie and the other female.

"Darnit, Beatrix, go away!" Rowan growled at the brunette Dream, but didn't dare to move the young Yudou off of his lap.

Beatrix simply brushed a large curl off of her should and sat at attention for Guine to continue with her new information on the well known Squall.

"Don't talk to Bea like that!" Clover squeaked.

"Yeah! Don't be so mean, Rowan!" Yuffie joined in.

"Ya'll," Guine whined, trying to get everyone's attention again, "If ya'll don't stop talking I'll never be able to tell you!" she pouted, wishing Plushi was there to help her explain what she was about to explain. Oddly enough, all the Dreams were sitting and waiting to hear about their beloved Squall. Tck, the only reason they were listening to her was because it was about Squall. Any other time they wouldn't have cared if Guine had anything to say.

"Well," Guine took a deep breath, "Squall is home," she paused, not knowing what to expect from the Dreams, "And he's brought home a new addition to our family; one of his daughters are going to be living with us," she finished rather quickly.

Everyone stared at her for what seemed like hours. Plushi! Guine whined in her thoughts. It was mostly her idea anyway; although Guine was quite thrilled with the results as well.

"Are you flippin' serious?" Thyme broke the silence, followed less than a millisecond later by several fangirlish squeals from Clover and Yuffie, "Daughter? Does that mean-"

"Yes!" Guine cut him off in a nervous panic, looking once again over her shoulder and out the door, "Squall, I told them," she said, a bit sympathetically.

"What a pimp," Rowan finally spoke up; everyone was surprised he had been paying attention.

Guine blinked at him before shaking her head and watching out the door again.

"Oh! This is so exciting!" Yuffie squealed in her own conversation with Clover, "I was hoping it would be a girl!"

"Wah? You knew he was gonna come home with a little one?" Clover blinked in awe of how well informed Yuffie was.

"Nyuk nyuk nyuk! Of course I knew!" Yuffie laughed, "I'm the Great Ninja Yuffie after all!"

"Wow! That's amazing, Yu!" Clover said, fawning over her best friend, "What else do you know?"

"Well," Yuffie tried to look thoughtful, but that was proving difficult because she was too excited, "I heard that she's an Earth blessed Deejarne," she said, proud of herself, but gave a nervous glance over at Beatrix. It was she who gave Yuffie the information.

"Hey! Another one like Rowan!" Clover squeaked from Rowan's lap.

"Tck," Rowan clicked his tongue, "It'll be nothing compared to me, I'm a Spirit blessed!" he smirked, but quickly frowned and turned away from the look Beatrix was giving him.

"A daughter? How wonderful!" Valerian said in his separate conversation with the red Dream, quite pleased to hear that there will be a new Dream in the house.

"Maybe Squall will let me teach her how to sing," he said hopeful for a student.

"Are you serious, Uruz? You really want to teach Squall's daughter?" Vale asked, quite impressed at the red Dream's daring.

"Of course I'm serious!" Uruz chuckled, "Squall has a beautiful voice; I'm sure his daughter will pick up on that lucky gene!" he said, getting excited just thinking about it. It wasn't as if he's ever heard Squall sing, but just his voice was enough to know that he would be a wonderful singer.

"Fae? How does someone have a daughter?" Jas asked, blinking blissfully up at the older, wiser Dream.

"Well," Flareon began, "When two..."

Guine chose to find Squall at that moment; yes, that would be best. "Squall?" Guine asked nervously, going all the way outside to see what was taking so long.

"Angelica!" a frantic sounding Squall tried to call down a little brown and white Whisp from a nearby flower bush. She was obviously more interested in the pink flowers than her panicking father.

"Problems?" Guine coughed, covering up for a laugh.

Squall glared up at the girl; his face quickly turning a bright red, "Whatever," he mumbled, but gasped in panic as his daughter wandered on to another flower.

Guine coughed again and beamed at the father-daughter combo. Oh yes, this was going to be interesting.
