The king called for him, but there was no answer. He called again, but to no avail. Finally he called to his daughter, she came as an obedient daughter would. She was covered in a blanket. "Reine! How dare you defile yourself with such a peseant!" He yelled at her as Atticus stepped into the room. Atticus had just finished dressing in his garments and was putting his armour on as he stood in front of the king. Reine had turned as pale as a ghost as she stared down at the ground, "I'm sorry father." She said to him. Atticus stepped forward, "Don't tell him sorry! You're only doing as your heart tells you!" "I've heard enough! You are hereby banished from this kingdom Atticus, knight of the black dragon!" Atticus stared at the ground as the words entered into his ears. He cringed slightly knowing he would be torn away from the one he loved.
"Reine... Don't you ever forget me. I'll be back for you, I promise." He told Reine as he stared her in the eyes. She nodded at his words and said, "I love you Atticus" He replied with a small kiss and a few simple words, "I love you too." With no other words he turned away from her and walked towards her father with his sword in his hand. "Divide me from the one I love old man, but I will be back. I swear you that." He said to the king as he stood in front of him. The king's guards then grabbed him and dragged him off after knocking him unconcious.
Atticus awoke a few days later in the middle of the Black Forest. He was hesitant to move fore he knew that the beasts of the forest would detect him, and knew his training would only come in handy when he could see the enemy coming. He sighed and pushed himself up, staring around at the black trees and the ashen ground. He checked his gear, making sure his fellow knights had left him with enough supplies to survive. He sighed again, in relief as he found a note attached to a bag. He read the note aloud to himself, "Atticus, we have given you enough for to last you for 7 dinners, no more, no less. Make it last, brother." He laughed to himself as he realized how great it was to have friends. He picked the pack up, slinging it over his shoulder and walked farther away from the kingdom.

She laughed happily at the younger girl, and nodded over at Leo.
"Alright. Good luck!" She looked down at Liona, "Do you wish to accompany us?"

Freya hummed as she skipped across the beach towards the Black Forest, ale in hand and smile in tow. She lifted the rim of the bottle up to her lips and took a swig of alcohol, a sound of approval flowing past the teeth, but when she noticed two girls standing on the edge of the forest, her eyes widened and the bottle was thrown aside.
"Hey you there! Going into the forest!" she shouted as she sprinted towards a group of two that stood on the edge of the forest, purposely ignoring the cloaked man from before as she ran past him. "Stop! I want to come with you!"
They can be the first members of my crew! she mused with a twinkle in her eye, looking forward to following in her father's footsteps. She skidded to a halt and observed the two, noticing that they both seemed to be different in their own way. I see a strong crew in my future, she chuckled to herself as she prepared her introduction.
"I'm Freya Fionn, feared pirate of the sea. I'm on my way to the kingdom to take the throne for my father's crew, but I need you scallywags to join me on my journey. It'll be easier that way," she greeted as she stood with her hand on her hip and a spark in her eyes.

She had opened her mouth to say something, but looked in surprise over at the pirate. She blinked a little before she smiled in greeting.
"Hello. I am Io. This is my friend Liona," She indicated the younger girl, "Yes, we intend to go across the forest to stop the king. We have another friend coming with us, but he has gone to gather supplies for the journey."
