Mr. Kennedy My parents really hate them. They hate how it's "Metal" I tell them no but meh, I get to buy the CDs. My sister just hates how they look. Daron scares her. xd Basicly the same.
I'm afraid to let my mother hear "My cocks much bigger than yours!"
Though, Cigaro is my favorite song. xD

well for one thing, my whole family (mom dad and sis) all hated them from the moment I introduced them to Toxicity. My sis now likes a couple songs (mostly Chop Suey, Atwa, Toxicity and BYOB) and my dad says it's growing on him, my mom will never like them :'D

My sister is the one who got me onto them.
...We used to mosh together, and starts screaming the lyrics out when Toxicity was "big".
My mother doesn't mind them. She doesn't really like them either.
And my dad just doesn't care.

When my brother first heard them on Mezmerize he didn't like them. But then when I bought the Hypnotize CD and I showed him Vicinity Of Obscenity he was like rofl. Inthis way he started to like them smile My dad doesn't even know that SOAD exist. And my mom don't like them. I'm the only one to like them in my family... poor poor me... sad

My brother an myself are the only ones interested in SOAD. My parents let me go to concerts but would never listen to it themselfs.

My mom totally hates them and teases me for listening to them. One day we were in the car, and 'Wake me Up when September Ends' came on the radio. I sighed and said,
'That song is good, and the radio had to destroy it by overplaying it and making it intolerable.' My mom, being a fan of GreenDay, said,
'Well, I'm pretty tired of that 'Lonliest Day' song." and I was like,
'Psh. I hardly ever hear that. They overplay NickelBack and Foo Fighters more so then System. And, I just don't like GreenDay for their over-merchandising...'
Then, me and her got in an argument.

my parents hate all my music and love country,they just dont like it because they think my sister is trying to turn me gothand that im trying to turn my 11 year old brother goth,one of my younger brothers like them,the other likes counrty music,and my sister likes them,i love em.but my mom does like the song hypnotize,cause she said he sounds sexy.

I'm trying to get my four-year-old cousin to like a few SOAD songs...
She likes Know and Chop Suey so far... My other cousin likes all of them. whee She's 2.
