Ari Waya
Personality: Ari is kind, gentle, nurturing, and blissfully innocent. She knows she is valued for the purity of her white coat, and as such, as strived to live the most pure, holy, life possible as a way to give back to those who see her that way just because of her coat. She very much cares for others, and would give her heart and soul just to put a smile on the most dismal of creature's face.

I will be trying for Ari Waya
Ari is a calm and quiet lioness that tends to be more on her own than in the company of others. It's not that she doesn't mind being in groups, she just feels like she gets things accomplished when she's by herself. She's not much of a conversationalist, and generally only speaks when she feels it's important to or when other lions seek for her advice. However, she does carry a weakness: when she feels like she has time to spare, Ari enjoys the company of cubs. She's very fond of their way of thinking and seeing the world, and believes that there's more to learn in the naivety of youth than others care to venture in. For them, there's no limitations in words.

Name: Nchi'kai
Personality: He can be a bit grumpy at times but is trying very hard to overcome his attitude. He wants to put his past behind him and grow into a new lion that doesn't have all the baggage he has been carrying around.
Lion: girl 1
Name: Chaka
Personality: Just like her coat she is bright and sunny. She has a some times bad habit of never seeing the bad in anyone or anything. To her the whole world is a bright happy place. Because of this she is easy to take advantage of but she has never had anyone to teach her that she is being taken advantage of.
Lion: Ari
Personality: While she's always been cherished and loved she has tried not to let it go to her head. She will on occasion take advantage of it but usually ends up feeling bad later that she did. She would rather be just like everyone else than be special. She also has a soft spot for the smaller creatures of the savanna.

Name: Banjoko
Personality: His name means 'stay with me and wander no more.' He is protective and focused on keeping those who are close to him safe. When around cubs, he becomes a fluffy and cuddly lion. Pretty much like a father figure to everyone. He doesn't have any intentions of hurting anyone.

Name: Dhakiya
Personality: Her name means 'intelligent.' Smart and calculating, she doesn't do anything without first thinking about the consequences of her actions. She isn't a spontaneous lion and much prefers to plan ahead.

Name: Hiari
Personality: Her name means 'free will.' She is a free lion, with no intentions of growing up mentally. She's a free spirit and the complete opposite of Girl 1 (above). She loves to play with other lions, cubs included, and is often found wandering the lands in search of something to do. Basically, she won't sit still.

Personality: He is simply a prankster. In his eyes, there is fun to be had no matter how serious the situation. He's got a quirky disposition and is always taking it easy. However, when other lions become agitated with Ndale's behavior, it causes him to act out even more.

For Ari Waya
Ari is quiet and likes to keep to herself, except when it comes to cubs. They are just about the only ones that she willingly approaches her self, she is quite motherly and tends to try to take care of them when she meets them. Some times she'll play and romp around with them. When it comes down to other adults though she is slightly skittish, mainly around males, and might be a little more jumpy and careful with them. She doesn't like to be touched. She doesn't show affection much, there are few lions that she touches those are mostly family and those that she trusts. All together she is a sweetheart.
Lion: Girl Two
Name: Ekta (Unity)
Personality: When she was younger she was abused as a child. Because of that she turned into a bit of a 'meany'. However now that she is heading toward the pride she decided to turn over a new leaf She isn't one to approach others but when some one comes to her she is sweet and friendly. She is rarely mean toward others lately, however if her trust is broken she may be a little sarcastic.
Lion: Girl One
Name: Bala (And ever nine year old girl, young girl)
Personality: This girl is just as cheerful as her pelt. She even renamed herself to match her personality. She is innocent and happy. She loves to bounce around and play with others. If some one is upset she tries to cheer them up and make them happy in anyway possible. The only downside is that she is easily brought to tears and she is easily upset by others.
Lion: Boy 2
Name: Rohtak (Sun)
Personality: Rough on the outside soft on the inside. He first comes off as a gruff male, he comes off as some one who doesn't want anything to do with others or some one who doesn't care. However once you get to know him he is nice and sweet, he likes to cuddle. He treats all females like goddess and respects them more than anything.

Name: Jyoti (Cherokee for 'Sun')
Personality: A bit mysterious, Jyoti tends to be a little flighty and shy although her warmth and bright countenance often shines through once she feels comfortable around someone.
Lion: girl 1
Name: Charu (Cherokee for 'Beautiful')
Personality: Charu is a spunky individual but rather forgetful- she's a deep spiritual indidivdual but her lack of memory sometimes causes her to not appear quite so bright. Thankfully her rather good looks often pull through and make up for her blunders... or so she thinks.
Lion: Boy 1
Name: Durjaya (Cherokee for 'Difficult to Conquer')
Personality: Durjaya, or Jaya for short, tends to keep himself as a free spirit and an individual who cannot be tied down by anything or anyone. For one whose far from their youth the male certainly has quite a bit of energy and zest.

Lion: Girl 1
Name: Amaterasu – shining over heaven [Japanese name]
Personality: She’s a nice sweet girl. Always active especially when it’s sunny out, and her personality reflects that of a spring morning. Sweet and crisp, almost always sort of in a hyper stage when it’s sunny out and looking for others to talk to and converse with. She’s got a little spunk too, so if something starts to seem tough she just keeps on trying to bounce right through it. However when it’s cloudy as if at some point it’s going to rain her bouncy attitude seems rather damped as she’s more likely to laze about and nap.
Lion: Girl 2
Name: Liluye – singing chicken hawk that soars [Native American Miwok Name]
Personality: Little quirks make everything interesting, as she almost always is humming. It reflects her mood, which most of the time is sunny side up. Occasionally something won’t go her way and when that happens there’s always that irritated hum to be heard. Of course she cheers right back up when she meets someone to talk to. However even when irritated she’s always got that laidback tone in her voice.
Lion: Boy 1
Name: Uzumati – Bear [Native American Miwok Name]
Personality: Not only is he soft and fuzzy on the outside, he’s just as fuzzy inside. He normally doesn’t speak unless he has something important to say. Tending to just listen, unless there’s a ‘damsel in distress’ then he tends to come to the rescue even if it’s just verbally.
Lion: Boy 2
Name: Mahkah – Earth [Native American Sioux Name]
Personality: He’s rough around the edges and thinks he has to be to make up for his lithe build. He’s always trying to take on those ‘impossible’ tasks as he strives to be the best, so when no one else volunteers, he will. He has a soft side but it’s impossible to find for those that don’t know him.
Lion: Ari
Personality: Not many lions have what’d you call ‘that southern belle’ personality and accent. However for whatever reason she’s gained such. Homely and sweet with an accent you could cut like butter. She’s occasionally a hopeless romantic tending to melt at a male’s feet. [Think sort of like Rainbow Dash from the newest MLP movies.]
- I tried to stick to Native American names as much as possible for the first four. I might enter for the 3rd boy too when I see him. heart

Lion: Girl 2
Name: Shideezhi (younger sister)
Personality: A watcher and inquisitor, Shideezhi has been a wanderer since birth and because of that she was separated from her family. Her spirits were always high that one day she would be reunited with her lost siblings therefore when ever some sort of misfortune befalls her or something miraculous occurs, she looks at it like a good story to tell her siblings once she finds them. This constantly growing backlog is what gives her the drive to move forward. One of her stories is based off her encounter with a snake that attacked her eyes and killed the nerves in her right one so that she could no longer see out of it.
To others, she's both mothering and entrancing especially once her tales begin to unfold. She enjoys telling her stories to those of all ages and believes that those that truly enjoy them are still in touch with the spirit of their childhood. One day she hopes to care for the younger generations though she could care less if they were her own or those of her peers.
Going for Ari
Ari has learned from the past and the things she sees happening in the future. She has watched others fly too close to the sun and plummet to despair; seen terrible things happen by her that she hasn't done yet. These visions keep her vigilant of herself and others. This makes her appear solemn but in fact she is both joyful and loyal to her family and those closest to her. She considers herself somewhat wise and loves to solve problems she comes across. She does not see her color as something to set her apart however sometimes she believes that it may have something to do with her talents though she would never willingly admit that to anyone else.

Personality: Ari is not a 'quiet' lioness, nor is she unsocial by any means -- in fact, she's quite practical. While she does understand that her white coat is something rare, she doesn't try to play it up -- at all. This doesn't mean she's overly humble, it's simply that she doesn't feel her coat should be all that there is to her. A hard worker, Ari feels that she must work to earn her keep and does just that.
In a nutshell: she's practical and a team-player.

Name: Hanaa Image: UncertedPersonality: Hanaa is majorly OCD, to the point that she's become very dependent on her older sister, Pacha, to take care of her while she's busy going through her little rituals. Despite the way she acts, she's still a sensitive, caring lioness, and she hates how her oddness forces Pacha to give up her own life to take care of her. When Pacha had a litter of cubs, Hanaa knew that she needed to give her sister her freedom, so while Pacha was busy, she started to wander away out of sight, going as far as she could to search for a place for herself. A pride seems an ideal way to find protect for her 'weakness', but still make herself useful. Ultimately, she wants to learn to get over her weirdness and prove to Pacha that she doesn't need to be taken care of any more.

Lion: Girl one (gold)
Name: Esperanza (hope)
Personality: Happy-go-lucky airhead. She's almost always smiling, and her laugh makes her sound like she's not all there. She's always trying to get other people to let loose and have fun, seemingly oblivious to any serious topics that may arise. She often says very air-headed, ridiculous things.
"Ohhhmigosh, guys! Half of the moon is missing! Where did it go?!"
As she's around people more, some secretly wonder if her buoyant stupidity is a farce...Acted out because of insecurity, or other reasons.
Lion: Girl two (redbrown)
Name: Kifaranga (chick)
Personality: Named for the small chick on her shoulder when she was a cub, the marking has since grown, and so has the lioness. But though she has physically grown, she's remained a bit like a lioness much younger than herself. She'll talk your ear off and gossip 'til the sun goes down, given the chance, like a constantly-chirping baby bird. She complains and whines a lot, but that could just be to start conversation or fill up silence.
Lion: Boy one (paint)
Name: Mwezi'uso (moon face)
Personality: Tall, dark and handsome, Uso is the guy staring intently at you from the dark corner of the room, making you delightfully uncomfortable. It's hard to get this gruff, grouchy guy to speak, as he prefers silence and can be understood well enough without talking. But when he finally does open his mouth, some find themselves wishing he'd never opened it in the first place, as he talks with the voice of something akin to that of a young juvenile.
Lion: Boy two (brown)
Name: Kitisho (panic)
Personality: Scrawny and skinny, twitchy, and probably always covered in dust and dirt, too. If you saw him walking towards you, you'd probably be a little freaked out. His smile is almost unnatural; a wry, villainous type of grin, sometimes accompanied by a loud, shrill laugh that's enough to make your hairs stand on end. In truth, he's a really nice guy with quite a sense of humor, and he'll make you feel like the funnest person to be around no matter what you do. He just has a few...unusual traits.
Lion: Boy three (stripes)
Name: Magome (tree bark)
Personality: Rotund super-father-figure. Magome is a rather chubby fellow, and eats more than a lion really should. But some would argue that his chubbiness becomes him, as a fatherly smile surrounded by round cheeks is quite a welcoming image. He treats everyone he meets with a fatherly attitude, taking creatures both young and old "under his wing". He's very good with cubs, and doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his entire body. Save the fact that he can be greedy when it comes to food he's caught himself. He used to be quite an arrogant, short-tempered jerk as an adolescent, and though he's changed since then, his mean past traits often resurface when he first wakes up in the morning. While he doesn't have a short temper anymore, he'll still flare up quite a bit if something makes him angry. Most know how kind and fatherly he is, but Magome's anger is something not to be tested.
Lion: Girl three (appaloosa)
Name: Awinita (fawn)
Personality: The laughing tomboy with a peculiar ear twitch. Never call her by her full name, as she thinks it sounds too girly. Despite her rough-and-tumble edges, Nita is extremely caring and has a strong weakness for weak things; someone unable to stick up for themselves, for example. She likes hanging out with boys more than girls, usually forgetting the invisible boundaries between males and females, and that not all males would be comfortable letting loose around her. She has a big heart, and often used to be described as "a good kid". She misses the easy times of being a cub, and often has secret fears about the future. But she doesn't usually share her personal feelings with others, often hiding her insecurities with brash laughter and a careless attitude. She secretly wishes she were more like a girl.
