"Yes you did" he told her, flying to the inner sanctum of the city, "You did very well and I'm proud we have skilled fighters like you here. But now you need rest and the inner sanctum is the best place to rest."

Robin gave him a salute before she fell asleep from exhaustion.
Meadowlark got everyone back to base.

After getting to the inner sanctum he put Robin on a bed and got a bird nurse to check on Robin. He really didn't want anything bad to happen to her. David stood by the window and looked in the distance enough to see Dymalis's lair.

"Ah Glimmer" he said "We took a beating, but they retreated back to where they came from. But believe me on this, Violet appeared and attacked the city, and Dymalis himself appeared as well."

"I'm not mad" he said "Our army went to battle and we have a sixth of what we had before. At this rate Dymalis and Violet are going to be walking into the city and taking it for themselves. I still remember when you told me what Violet did to you, she got lucky today. In fact all of the remainder of our army was lucky or there would be nothing left."

"How did you win, against an army did anyone help you at all, or was it just the dragons?" Glimmer said to him, she didn't like war its war that put her without parents in the first place.

"Can I see her, I have always wanted to meet her. She and her dad fought to protect my lands when Violet, attacked them and she lost her dad in that battle." Glimmer asked David excitedly.
