Umi looks into the bushes near them and sees something moving. " L-Lucus...there's something in there watching us O.O;" she hides her face in Lucas's shoulder.

Lucas blinks looking in the direction that Umi pointed out before going into a protective mood and tensing a bit eyeing the bush "If someone' there show yourself" he said towards the bushes

Umi's heart beats faster, her not knowing if it's the thing in the bushes, or how manly Lucas has become. She blushed still frightened.

Lucas looks at Umi "stay here...while I go take a look...stay here" he told her before moving towards the bushes "hello...is anyone there?" he said towards the bush

"be careful Lucas.." She watches him go to the bush, afraid something bad is going to happen, and then she would lose her Lucas...**shakes her head** "Lucas is very strong!" she told herself "He can take care of anything.

Lucas nods his head "don't worry I'll be careful" he said before taking a few more steps forward towards the bush, what exactly was watching them, he was unsure.

She was scared for him....She wanted to run to his side, but he will get upset. She watched him, if anything were to happen, She didn't know what she would do...

Lucas growls a bit before picking up his pace towards the bushes..whatever was watching was making him even more angry by not showing itself. He did no want to be watched when he and Umi were having some time together, it was just disrespectful.

Umi lays down, nibbling her paw because shes so nervous. Tail staying still hair spiking up, then wraps herself in her fluffy tail hi=ding her eyes, but still watching.

Lucas growled again and stopped in front of the bushes, he did not want Umi to see him all tensed and frustrated then he was now. He decided he would give the thing or whatever it was 5 secs to show itself, if not he would have to show how much more upset and frustrated he was.

Umi gets up and runs to Lucas and lays on him, to protect him. A huge bear like thing jumps out and wacks Umi like 10 feet away like a rag doll leaving a huge gash on her neck, not rapidly bleeding, but bleeding.
"run...now Lucas!!!!"
{wasn't sure what you meant u_u; So i just went all soap opera ish lol}

Lucas gasped as Umi got in his way he rushed over to Umi "i'm not running...I told you, to stay put where you were" he told her before assessing the damage the bear like thing made. Before nuzzling her lightly "just hang in there a bit" he told her before turning and facing the creature, his mood changing from concerned to protective and upset he walked towards the creature his paws starting to glow. "NO ONE!! HURTS HER WHEN I"M AROUND" he yelled. Hopefully his glow would be bright enough to blind him and send him running off.

Umi tries to get up but falls down from being to weak from blood loss, but tries to beg Lucas to run but words come out like a childs trying to talk. ""luu...rrr, lu rrr"
The thing that looks like a bear stands up on his hind legs to look where it knocked its dinner to, looking over Lucas, but then the bright light catches his eyes making it go blind so charges at Lucas swatting his huge paw in the air at him, while his sight started to return.

Lucas shifted his weight to the balls of his feet and dodged the bear like creatures random swats. He ran behind the creature and jumped onto its back, letting his starlight glow brighter and stronger. "I won't let you touch her..over my dead body" he said before keeping him pinned on its belly with all his strength that came from the powerful bond of love he had for Umi.

The bear creature stopped then made a screaming like a whining pig and ran away, running blindly off a cliff.
Umi tries to look up to see what was happening, but her vision was blurry for some reason.
