Alma stood by the door, listenign to the converstion. No one noticed her, of course, but she had fun counting the minutes until they did. So far, she was at 10.

Scarlet snapped up her head for a moment listening to the noises around her. She closed her eyes and remarked. "It's not polite to ease drop." She didn't mean Abby of course, but she knew someone else was watching her.

Scarlet's hair's stood up on the back of her neck, but she pushed the fear back down again. "I think ease dropping is a far worse deed then letting someone linger in the doorway. Besides if someone wanted my attention in the doorway they would have spoken to me rather then just standing there."

Abby watched the uneasyness between the two of them. "mmmm...right. Well. I'll have to send an owl to my parents to bring us home. I just hope--" she stopped talking as their family owl dropped a note in her lap. "What the..." she watched the owl leave before turning to the letter. "It's from my mum." she opened it and read it then looked back up."Huh...whatta ya know...she's pregnant.....WAIT WHAT?!" She reread the letter. "For the love of....she already has my older brother brent, my older sister Ashley and me and my sisters....now she's having another?!...I swear...you would think they had something else better to do. Well....we're rich so I guess...." she shuddered at the thought a baby in the family. "....yeah let me go throw up now" she said rising.

She smiled. "Sometimes I wonder how my sibling got into Ravenclaw. Considering both of our parents were slytherins."

Abby looked down at her black and white striped socks. "Hey" she said looking up suddenly. "Would you like to spend vacation with us? I could use another slytherin to talk with..or some one sane for that matter" she said smiling a bit.
