Octavio, after a great deal of problems, had passed the beasts unharmed... He saw the raven-woman attacking Loki... at closer range, on her own.
He ran closer... Maybe I can help... Maybe if we finish him off, the beasts will go away...
If somebody doesn't help her, she's going to get hurt like that.
As he got closer, he saw a couple of other people... Of course, he'd never seen hatmon before, but at least Vika wasn't completely alone...

Down, but not out!
Loki caught Vika's talons in his hands suddenly and he smirked, despite the blood pouring out of him, and shoved her back enough for Fenrir (easily taking the Elfires-- though the bolt from Donarco made it stumble for a moment) to lash out with one massive paw and bat Vika away from his master, lowering his head and breathing great volleys of flame at Adele as she approached, keeping the Berserker at bay as well. Loki snarled, reaching back and grabbing Hatmon before flinging her away, allowing Fenrir to serve as a shield for him.
Jörmungandr was less than pleased by his treatment from the Hawk King, and snapped his jaws at the bird in anger. The Great Serpent was fast, and lunged with venom-dripping teeth first at Shinon, and then at Rath!
And Loki himself... well, he did not seem to be doing terribly well. He wheezed raggedly, reaching out as Váli hopped up into his hand and crawled up to his shoulder. "Ah... they are strong... I believe it is time," he murmured.
The little Chinchilla squeaked in agreement and leaped suddenly into Loki's forehead, fusing its power with his own, so that he would truly boast his full strength when he unlocked it.
Loki kept his power muted at most times, to avoid accidents. This small, humanoid form was the simpler one. The shrine behind him seemed to pulse, and then turned black and began to crumble as Loki lifted into the air. Loki's laughter started soft, then, but grew louder, deeper, ever more maniacal and terrible...
A firestorm struck the center of the platform and spread, forcing anyone nearby to move back or be incinerated within. It moved back, whipping out tongues of flame that lashed and burned any they crossed, until the whole thing moved entirely over the edge of the platform...

"Oh s**t! Watch out jackass!" John shouted as he shot an arrow at shinon with a Rope on it and pierced it through his pants. John threw his bow down and YANKED back on the rope just in time to save Shinon from a snake death.

Octavio, being too close, had to scramble backwards to avoid being incinerated. He ran and tumbled... Almost falling off of the side into the abyss, but he stopped himself just in time, staring over the edge... That would have been terrible. He turned to watch what was happening to Loki...
Of course that's not his normal form... Octavio wondered how he hadn't thought of that before... They were about to see....
The REAL Loki.

Shinon was pulled back suddenly.
"What the????" He looked back and saw John.
"Er.... thanks."
Shinon shot a volley arrows into the great Serpent's side. Then he fell back by Rath[I'm not by you!] and John.
"What the hell? That's a freaking huge snake, and...... is that a dog?" he pointed at the mutt that was attacking Hatmon.

Not long after defeating Evelyn, Sophia arrived at the site for the final battle in the company of Vaida and Mihira. In her arms was the Luna tome and the tome she had taken from the hero Vaida had laid to waste; Chizakura. Despite what she had thought would be a heavy tome, Chizakura proved to be quite light, about as light as Flux if not more so. When she reached the battle, she quickly whipped the tome out to unleash its might against the dark god.
“Chizakura,” she nearly whispered as she read the tome’s name. Sophia stretched out her right and pointed at Loki as she held the tome securely in left hand. In response to her call, small purple sparks traveled around her hand before turning into petals. Strike. Suddenly, from the very air itself, thousands of pink and purple petals blinked into existence and started racing towards the dark god; hoping for his blood to satisfy their hunger for death and destruction at the hands of their new master.

Now was probably the best time to attack the large serpent and attack it, Ephraim did. Getting up from the ground, Ephraim charged up to the snake and leaped into the air, landing on the top of its head. The creature shook, nearly knocking the prince over until he rammed the spear head into the serpent's head.
He held on for a good few minutes before he was thrown off, in which he rolled to save himself from any broken bones. His spear head had blood dripping down the shaft but it wasn't enough to take down such a large creature.

Rath quickly got to his feet, after seeing the giant wolf stumble a little from his attack. However, he saw in the corner of his eye the giant snake racing toward him, venom leaking from its fangs.
Rath leaped into the air, right as the snake lunged at him, and ran down it's back. He charged several bolts and fired them at the the giant wolf.
He then stopped midway down the snakes back, and charged his bow to fifty percent output as quickly as he could, and released it point blank at the snake.
Obviously, the snake wasn't just going to let somebody run down its back, and turned its head and lunged back at Rath. If Rath jumped now, he'd probably brake multiple bones, when he landed, but at least he wouldn't be snake food. So, he leaped from the snake's back, just as it was about to hit him.
He soared in the air, falling quickly to the ground, when suddenly was grabbed. Rath looked up, and sighed. He was safe from harm, but now owed a favor to Tibarn.. of all people.

If Ed really contained any remnant of reason, she would have been surprised that the chinchilla hadn't struck her while she was distracted. But Ed did take notice of the chinchilla running away. Enraged that the thing would try to save its pathetic hide by fleeing, Ed took off after the chinchilla (dang was it fast) and tried to snatch it up again in her jaws.
Sadly, her teeth missed. Perhaps it was due to Fenrir being in the way, so Ed bared her teeth at the massive wolf, slobbering and snarling horribly.
Even as Loki rose, the chinchilla disappearing into his head, Ed had her eyes fixed on the enemy wolf. Something had to die at her teeth (even with one punched out). Eyes wide, ears and tail high, she growled at Fenrir and snapped her jaws furiously.

Amelia backed up, watching as Vika tore into Loki's flesh, only to be pushed away and used as a living shield. He was strong. He was very, very strong. He was weakening, though, she could see it, and they were able to handle both of his creatures, if only because all of them were attacking... even more were arriving one by one, lending even more strength to their assault.
Fall, Loki... Fall!
There was Váli, then... "Did they... fuse together?" she whispered, eyes widening. She watched as the shrine pulsed, and then Loki went up, and the laughter made her shiver, even in her anger and sorrow...
The flames were what made her first panic. She ran for her life, trying to move away from the burning fire that would have consumed her. She saw Blossom running next to her; trying to absorb all of that fire within Vezra would have only been suicide. Once she was safely at the outside of the platform, upon the land bridge, Amelia stared, panting.
"What is... he becoming...?" she whispered.

The flames burst at the edge of the platform to reveal Loki's true, released form. That statue had been a statue of Loki himself, on a much, much smaller scale. Massive red wings rose behind him as an aura of flame swirled around and behind the enormous god. Twenty stories high at least, he rose high above the platform, his lower body lost in the abyss. Hands like claws, eyes like orbs of flame, Loki glared down at his opponents and laughed a deep, booming laugh.
NOW YOU SEE MY POWER? his voice boomed within the minds of all present. NOW YOU SEE THE HOPELESSNESS OF YOUR TASK? TREMBLE AT MY WRATH!
He lifted one massive, clawed arm and poured from it molten rock, creating a deadly river toward his enemies.
The full force of Chizakura's strike had no visible impact on the massive beast that was Loki, and yet... was that a twitch? A twinge? A twitinge?
Fenrir had his paws full, of course, fending off attacks from all angles. Ed's defiant, snapping jaws were replied to with an attempt by Fenrir to bite the little wolf in half, flame slipping out between his teeth as his jaws snapped shut just short of catching the smaller creature. More bolts from Donarco forced it to step back, howling, and then it leaned back on its haunches and barreled toward Ed and Adele!
And Jörmungandr was just livid. It twisted itself around, uncoiling from the land bridge and finally moving onto the platform as its prey was snatched away by that damn bird! Bleeding heavily, but moving just as quickly and dangerously as ever, Jörmungandr pulled his head back suddenly and opened his jaws wide, then spit out horrible, foul venom that poisoned everyone it touched.

Finally.
He'd finally made it.
Soren knelt on the ground after emerging into the chamber, his energy spent merely on trying to reach the battlefield. He breathed deeply and calmly to rejuvenate himself as he lifted his eyes to observe the situation. He'd arrived the moment a pillar of flame had boomed down, incinerating any unlucky target caught up in its path. With Elwind and Rexcalibur nearby, he could finally be of assistance.
The issue here was that, with the battleground's layout, he could easily be thrown down and rendered useless in a minute. Soren contemplated how to avoid dying too quickly while remaining productive. He sat there for a good minute or so, pondering, massaging his tired muscles as he looked on. By then Loki was erupting with power, his voice thundering in their minds. He remained unfazed although he recognized the complication.
An aura coalesced with his own Order-bound energy signature. He hardly needed to turn his head as a hand placed itself on his shoulder, renewing his condition by a mere touch. He felt his muscles restore to peak condition, his blood slowing to a placid rate, his mind centering and grounding.
Soren rose, drawing out the Elwind tome.
"At your ready, Goddess Ashera."

Pebbles and small chucks of stone were flung upwards as Hatmon skidded to a stop after being thrown back; her claws creating small fissures in the stone. A smirk fell across the fox’s face as she looked at her claws with a pleased expression. Blood; the dark god’s blood was dripping from her golden claws. Seems I have not lost my touch. She licked her claw tasting the red substance on her nails. She suddenly started coughing trying to spit it back out. Guess I couldn’t expect even gods to have tasty blood.
Her claws clicked against the stone as she growled menacingly as she dodged one of the tongues of flame. Truly Loki was a worthy opponent for her claws compared to the abominations of before. Hatmon raised a single black paw in the air without first closing the distance between her and Loki. Rather, she launched herself in the air, using her now larger wings to support herself. Once again her claw swiped forward, splitting the very air itself as blades of light formed and started flying towards the newly transformed god.

"A HATE SNAKES!! THOSE FILTHY LITTLE REPTILES!!!!" Shinon twirled an arrow around and shot the Serpent in the eye.
"Take that you scum!!!!" Shinon backed away carefully avoiding the puddles of venom on the ground.
"Gah, such a foul smell," he gagged and put his scarf around his mouth.
