Name's Amos! 17, born in Arkansas, raised in Texas, look like a fashionable hobo but secretly a complete geek. ;D
Weeeell... I guess I've been into photography ever since I learned how to use a camera. I would always steal the little disposable ones my mom bought and take 'random' pictures. sweatdrop
Took me a little while to realize that's just what I saw beauty as, you know? My mom always said I had an 'artists eye.' I would find the most random and weird things interesting. XD
I didn't take my photography seriously until the year before last, which is when I bought my first DSLR, my gorgeous little Nikon D40, Ophelia. whee I've had her ever since and I'm still learning things about and with her.
I've had a few paying gigs, but for the most part I'll do it for free. I don't really want to turn it into a career for fear of not liking it anymore. XD
For the most part, I came here to help the newbies get on their feet and maybe even learn a few things myself. Can't wait to meet you all! biggrin

The Username is Dgital Panther Photos Silver-Moon Photo, and the real name you'll learn if I feel comfortable enough around you to say it. But For now feel free to call me Silver, Moon or Panther!
I guess I have been into photography since I was a kid, I've had cameras in my hands since I had my first camera which was pink and was from Barbie. Do not blame me, I was a kid. Over the years I kept the camera close and slowly started to love the art more and more. Currently I am in College learning about the beautiful art and working towards a career in it. The only thing I can see myself doing in ten years.
I am a Faithful Nikon user, and will always will be.
I am here to learn and Teach, please feel free to pick my brain, and I look forward to picking the brain of some of you later on!

Hello all!
My name is Tim, though if you can't remember that you can always use my username. I'm 15, from Pennsylvania and a semi-professional photographer with a small budget. I've been interested in photography for about 7 years now and have since taken multiple photography classes and thousands of pictures. When I was little, I always used to steal my mom's camera, take a bunch of pictures then put it back before she noticed... of course she noticed anyway. redface
This coming semester I'll be taking a graphic design and web design course at a local place to hopefully improve my non-photographic image manipulation skills and help me share my pictures better.
I currently own a Nikon D60, a Nikon FE2 and a Nikon CoolPix L20. I also have an 18-55mm AF-VR lens, 70-300 AF-VR, a manual 35mm lens and a manual 50-250 lens, though I'm always looking for both new cameras and lenses. I joined this guild as a way to share what I know and hopefully learn a few tips too.

I somehow missed this thread yesterday. >.<
My name is Liz or Azrhia, if you please, I'm 25 years old and have been doing photography since I was in elementary school, and have been working as a professional photography for 3 years now.
My experience is both in on location portraiture, studio portraiture, and photojournalism such as weddings. I worked as the Senior Photographer in a corporate portrait studio, but recently lost my job when a new studio manager came in who knew nothing about photography and decided she didn't like me or my straight forward attitude.
I shoot on Canon equipment, and listed all my stuff in the Arm Yourself section yesterday. lol.
Basically, I love photography...ALOT. I even have a camera tattoo on my right wrist (my shutter hand). Yeah....big nerd.

My name is StarshipCaptain, heh. I've been into photography for about six or seven years. I'd always loved playin with cameras when I was a kid, but I got my first digital in about 6th grade. It's broken now, but it still sits on my window sill.
I'm just now wrapping up my junior year at University of Missouri and I am indeed a photography major. I've always loved shooting industrial and urban decay but I've recently gotten into portraits and working with studio lighting.
I shoot a Nikon D5000 for my digital work and for film I have both a Canon Rebel GII and a Nikon N2020. Nikon just cuts some good glass.
Anyway, I'm here to learn what I can AND teach what I can. I plan to have my own studio one of these days and hopefully own a magazine.

Hello my name is Rhiannon Daimon. I am 24 and have been interested in photography for about 10 years or so. I got my first digital camera when I graduated from Grade School it was a fuji film fine pix something one of the first digital cameras out there razz . i got another fuji when i graduated HS. Then i moved onto Sony T77 and I just bought an Olympus sp800-UZ and I love it.
I graduated from the University of Windsor with a History Degree. I want to be a teacher for Children with special needs. I work as an in home aide worker with special needs children now and I love letting them take pictures with my old cameras and see the world from their eyes.
I love shooting nature and landscape shots but I don't often get a chance to do so as I live in a city. I also love to get pictures of new cars and show cars. I am looking forward to learn how to get better shots from everyone here.

My name is Jordan, but you can make your own nickname for me. Many have done so. I haven't been interested in photography very long, maybe about 4-5 months? So my skill level is probably very low. I'm 14 years of age, and joined this guild because I have found a new love, photography. I do not have a very good camera, just a standard digital camera. I think it's an 8-10 mexapixels. Not exactly sure on that one, sorry. So I'm guessing it's an alright camera, but not sure. I'd like to do some photography maybe as a side job when I get older. (:

Aloha ~ heart To the basics about myself not including photography. My name on Gaia is Tae and I am currently fifteen year's old, so another youngster. I am Japanese by blood and from Hawaii by birth.
Now more onto photography. I "own" two camera's, one is a Canon T1i - My first DSLR and my aunt is letting me borrow her Canon Kiss III (Film). I have three lenses all together, two are Canon and one is Tamron. I got interested in photography when I was twelve, or rather thirteen is more appropriate since that is when I really started getting into photography. So around two years now. I am decent when it comes to photography and hope to earn money soon when I do photoshoots for other people. I am mostly interested in fashion but since I don't feel that I'm good enough/not creative/don't have the "right" models, I stick with portraits. But I do other subjects other than portraits.
I do want to have Photography become my profession but I'm iffy on it since I'm not amazing and photography is now a more competitive business. So I am thinking of majoring in something else when I get into college. But not sure quite yet.

Hi there, I'm Erin, though it's totally fine if you call me Scarlet.
I'm an 18 year old college student, currently majoring in English and planning to minor in art.
My photographing obsession is shooting at live performances, because of the incredible difficulty and the FANTASTIC reward of getting a good shot. I use a Canon Rebel, but I'm not a Canon fangirl; I find that there's not much difference between Nikon and Canon.
This is my first time posting my photography on a public forum where I can actually get immediate feedback, so critique away!

I'm Brittany or on here it's the GeezerNERD.
I do just about everything, common renaissance chic I am.
Paint, sculpt, design clothes, and recently I'm a photographer...
Learning to take brilliant photos of many aspiring models to wear my designs so since I'm going to college. It's kinda recommended to have pictures of my designs, ya kno. My favorite cameras are from lomography. Feel free to visit it and you'll see why I love them...lomography.com.

Hello, my name is Jessica and I've been interested in photography since I took my summer class in it 2 or 3 years ago.
I've only been considering photography as a carrier for the past year.
I'm definatly no professional but I think I've got the basics for making artistic works. However, I'm not nearly so good at doing the technical work. I need a lot more work with knowing how to manipulate apature vs shutter speed as well as changing things like white balance on purpose. I usually just shoot in automatic mode so I'm really trying to figure out how to do it more manually.
I joined this guild for a few reasons, mostly to learn about photography and help others learn as well. Secondly I joined in hopes of making a few friends or at least being able to talk to people about my interest in photography.
