You got it. *Bree hands off Miranda to him. He touches Bree's shoulder for a moment before he takes Barthis to safety.* Be careful, alright? Anything happens to you, Gibson's gonna blame me and go totally sickhouse on my a**. I like my a**, Bree. sweatdrop

She smiles back at him. "So does Jenny. Honestly, I don't know who I'd dread facing more if you get yourself killed on the way out."
She slips a vial into his hand.
"Here. If either of you get hit, drink this. It'll keep you from bleeding out for half an hour. After that, you'll need medical attention. Keep that Shield I gave you. If you need to jump off the fire escape, do it. The Shield will protect you when you hit the ground. It'll hurt like hell, but you won't be injured. Just make sure you don't bounce."
Another bullet whings past.
"Get going! I'll meet you outside!"

*DiNardo nods and heads off, Miranda in tow. By the time Bree gets downstairs, the rest of the team is engaged in a firefight with the remaining four henchmen. Two more SWAT officers lay dead, another lies bleeding out with a severed arm. A scythe blade hangs from the ceiling, in evidence of another trap. Gibson, McGinn, and Trask are thankfully unharmed, though they are currently pinned down by the firefight.*

Bree stoops quickly to force a Bandage potion down the wounded man's throat.
"Move it!"
She ducks the scythe and watches her step to avoid any further traps, taking aim at the closest bad-guy shooter.
Not bothering to waste one of her aces just yet, she quickly slits his throat with the bone knife, turns to the man next to him, and cracks the guy across the head with her staff, probably fracturing his skull in several places.

*The first one is dead before he hits the ground. The second... well, he's alive for the time being, but he ain't gonna be getting up anytime soon.
The good news is this distracts the remaining gunmen from Gibson and the others. The bad news is they now have their guns pointed directly at Bree.*

She ducks behind a large concrete support pillar, scanning the balcony for any sign of the Liaison, hoping DiNardo and Barthis made it outside.

*So far, no sign of the Liason. The remaining gunmen take their shots at Bree. A couple embed themselves in the pillar, and the rest whiz by her head.*

One circles around too close and gets a taste of the staff. From there, it's simplicity itself to take out the other guy, but Gibson's markmanship beats her to it.
She carefully edges around the pillar, looking for more hostile targets, then picks her way across the floor when none present themselves.
"Radio DiNardo, make sure he made it out. We gotta move."

*Gibson nods and gets on the radio.* DiNardo, come in. What's your twenty? Are you clear of the building yet?
Roger that, boss. We're clear. Miranda's okay, she's getting checked out by EMS.
Copy that. Good work, DiNardo. *He clicks off* DiNardo and Barthis are clear. Let's clear out.
Change of plans. *The Liason's voice echos over the loudspeaker.* Rocks fall. Everyone dies.
*Up on the balcony, a pale hand reaches out of the shadows and pulls a lever on the wall. The support pillar, which Bree stood next to only moments ago, begins to collapse, bringing the whole balcony down with it.*

She grabs the injured man and gets him under a slightly more stable section of the balcony, searching for a way out.
"If anyone's got an exit strategy, now would be a wonderful time to speak up!"

How does run like hell sound- *Gibson is cut off by the groan of cracking concrete and bending steel, as the balcony finally gives way and crashes to the ground.
Gibson and a couple of the SWAT officers managed to get clear of the collapse. Jenny surfaces shortly there after, coughing on the kicked up dust and sporting a few scrapes. McGinn appears to have been hit in the back by a chunk of concrete, but is relatively unharmed. Many of the SWAT officers aren't so lucky, however. Several are grievously hurt, and in the current chaos and confusion, it is unclear whether all are present and accounted for.*
