Ellandra hugged Faolan softly. "I'm sorry, Faolan . . . but maybe we'll find a way, it just . . . may not be immediate," she said softly, tightening her hug. "You will remember sometime, I'm sure of it."

Faolan just made a soft noise, nodding. "Till then, you can just tell me about it all, eh?" He gave her a wry grin, tugging her toward where their vardo was in the camps. "Come noo, lass. Tyem t'let me gae t'thrillin' your socks off." Even without the thickened accent, it was clear he was in a better mood. Or maybe he just never really got in bad moods.

Ellandra squeaked, then melted, as she picked up her pace, half-dragging her husband back to the vardo. "Believe me. . . you're halfway there already."
