Markis noticed that motion that Sara wanted to talk to him, but he waited for a moment, and watched the two talk. Shaking his head at how fast Erik wanted to be there, he headed to where Sara was now standing. Being hasty can have many issues...
"You have something important?" He asked her when he knew they where far enough away that neither of the two would hear.

Varnis sat back down after getting settled with the bow, and quiver. He pocked the fireplace with a stick as he let out a yawn.

Sare gestured with her head at the new arrival. "She should come with us, not because she may only be helpful with getting Varnis up the tower, but because we can find out if we can trust her." Sara said as she thought about what would happen if they got caught. 'I can turn to mist and run away if the need arises.' She thought to herself but dismissed it as dishonorable.

Markis thought about the notion for a moment. He looked over at Mia and was silent before looking to Sara. "She doesn't seem like the type that cant be trusted, but then again... I never heard of any village that she speaks of." He nodded his head. "Having another to go with you will be a good idea as well. Just keep an eye on her though." He then looked over at Erik who seemed to know a ton of information about the place. "And Erik as well. He seems to know a little too much about the fire nation. But, it he is who he says he is, he can be helpful."

Erik gazed into the fire, lost in the continual flickering of the fire's light. That same fire that was warming him on this cold night was the same fire that had stolen everything from him. The difference was who was using it. The elemental power is merely a tool...it is the warrior's hand that delivers death. Erik then heard what Mai was saying. "Stick with giving us an aerial view. That sword may not be for show, but the brigadier's halberd isn't for show either. You could be in full armor, and a brigadier would cleave you in half anyway. It isn't a camp we're attacking, and it isn't even an attack. We plan to assassinate a General. The more silent we can be, the better. But still, I must enter the fort's armory. If my hunch proves true, this war could be stopped in a matter of months..." Erik gazed back into the fire, lost in its call.

Mia now felt like a little kid that just got yelled at. She then thought, "humph, I hate when people talk to me like that, I should rip his face off for saying that. No I should just relax I don't really know what I am up against so I better listen to this guy, even though he gets on my nerves. I guess for now I will just give them over head views, but when the chance comes I will show them how good I can fight. She then glanced at the other two with a smile, "all right I will help by being your over head spy." She then looked at them with a confused look on her face. "Um when exactly are we leaving?"

Varnis' eye twitched when he heard "those idiots over there". He dropped the stick he was using to poke the fire, and turned to face Erik as he stood up. "So... Your calling my father an idiot?" He glared at Erik, and waited his responce.

Mia saw that there might be a fight so she did what she could to stop it from happening. She then stepped in front of Erik to break eye contact between the two, "yes I can be very fast if I take my sword off my belt. But if I do get caught, which is doubtful, I will be almost defenseless. I can fight in my bird form, but I am better with a sword. What is it you want me to do?" Mia was a little distrustful towards what exactly he wanted her to do.

Sara saw Varnis rise and Mia stand between him and Erik. "Young hot-heads." She joked as she very much fit into that group. She rolled her eyes and started back over since she had told him all she wanted him to know of her opinion. Sara looked at the posture of the two and laughed loud enough for them to hear. "Ah nothing like a spar to loosen up." She drew her sword and set her feet wide. "If you two aren't too occupied with each other maybe one of you would try me?" She asked in an innocent coice that dripped scorn.

"I would recommend you don't use sarcasm around me. I take things far too seriously." Erik spoke to Sara as he drew his blade, and prepared to go for her throat. "Don't think that little mist form will save you either, I've killed people far more powerful then any of you here." Erik neglected to mention that a fair amount of luck was involved. "It's clear to me that no one here is going to be any use at this point. We should rest, calm ourselves, and be ready tomorrow. Lente can wait."

Sara rose an eyebrow. "Oh we shall see." She laughed in supreme confidence and grounded her sword. "But I agree you two should cool off." She stated with a questioning look at Varnis and Mia. She stood up and looked at Markis.

Mia decided to just stay out of any conflicts that might happen. So Mia then went into the shadows, sat down in front a tree and leaned against it. Mia unhooked her sword from her belt and laid it to her side. She finally then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"Hot headed kids..." Markis sighed as he walked back over to the fire place. "I agree, we should all rest. Besides, its getting late. If anyone needs me, I'll head to my hut. If anyone needs a room to sleep, just ask one of the guards and they will give you a place to sleep." He started to head off to his hut. "I think I can trust you all enough to not harm each other."
Varnis sighed as Sara blocked his view of Erik, and accepted his challenge. "I'm headed off to sleep. Today's been a long day."

Erik could feel the fatigue creeping up on him. At this point, he would make mistakes would ease. No sense fighting at this point. "Good night, everyone. I apologize for some of the things I've said tonight, I acted in haste. I have forgotten what it is like to take things slower..." Erik simply laid down on the ground, and went to sleep.
