After hitting the rights, Matt would attempt to run at Punk and grab him for a running neckbreaker!

Cm was swung around and fell back down on the mat from the spinning neck breaker.

Matt stayed down for a couple of seconds before going for a pin on CM, thinking his neckbreaker might be enough to win.

Matt stood after the kick-out, and would attempt some stomps onto the shoulder that Punk lifted.

Punk cried out and rolls away slightly starting to get to his feet to avoid any further stomps.

As Punk rolled away, Matt moved around him hoping to keep him from his corner. He would then attempt a kick to his ribs.

Punk was kicked in the gut as he was getting up and fell to a knee after the impact.

As Punk fell to one knee, Matt would try to lift him up to his feet and then lift him overhead, attempting a military press slam.

Punk was lifted high in the air, but tried to counter the slam by reaching down and trying to rake the eyes.

Matt's eyes were raked. He leaned forward, reeling from the damage inflicted.

Punk would get down from Matt, roughly landing on his feet, and would almost immediately went for a kick to the back of Punk's head.

Matt was kicked, and fell down face-first to the floor after the dangerous blow.

Punk had a grin on his face and walked over to where Joey was standing on the apron. "You see that? You see what steroids do for you? That phoney Punk wannabe just felt the wrath of the straight-edges superstar, and your stuck there on the apron like the pot head you are!" Punk berated Joey on the apron before turning back to Shanahan, wanting to pick him up to his feet.
