Mike put the head phone of his MP3 player into his ear and tried to turn on the device, only to see that is was completely dead. He thought a moment then his mind wandered to Agni. The boy gasped and ran to his room ditching the music player and taking the batters out of his reading lamp. He pocketed them and snagged the extension cord from the broom closet, he looped it around himself like a Beauty Queen's sash and walked back twords the infirmary.
If Angi had needed power so badly why hadn't the scientists given it to him yet? He wondered and walked into the room ignoring everyone except the boy. He took the batteries out of his pocket and placed them gently into The young man's hand. "Angi? sweetie? Love?" He cooed sitting on the bed next to the boy. He needed to make sure what he was going to do would be the right thing before moving on. He needed to make the boy promise that he would never try and kill himself again.

 Jojo heard the hurried footsteps of Mike run past her. I wonder why he's in such a hurry. Maybe he's going back to Derek's for more creampuffs. . Jojo thought to herself. "Hey Mike wait up I'll come with you!" Jojo shouted out as she ran after him but it seemed Mike ignored her call. "Well I can still hear him so I'll just follow him." Jojo sighed as she ran in the direction she thought Mike had went. Once Mike was at his destination Jojo realized, "Ok this doesn't feel like Derek's room....where am I?"

Mike, If I were Agni...which I am sorta...I would instead of using the powers to speak, I would zap your...behind right then and there for simply having the extension cord and not giving it to me. Dangling the meat in front of a starved wolf might make them do crazy things, like biting off your leg to get something for tormenting him.
Just felt like telling you that while I wait for Kairi and Ami. Sorry, I'm curious of what they will bring him, even though he brought the god of all electrical equipment...the extension cord. twisted Can anyone else see something, (sorry but I gotta) dark in the near future for the faculity.

((So...I work the grave shift. So Ill be on sporadicly throughout the day and night. Just thought I'd let you know.))
Derek heard the knock on the door and looked up from his half empty second box. Rolling his eyes and wondering who it was this time he called out to whoever it was with: "Come.". He waited for the door to open, but when no one entered it peaked his interest...slightly. "Enter." No one. "Come in!" Still no one. He swiveled around in his computer chair before getting up altogether with a groan.
Approaching the door he suddenly grabbed the knob and pulled the door open only to find out that his attempt was all for naught. Sticking his head out into the hallway he looked to the left, then to the right. Seeing nothing he then looked up, then down. Then at his door, and only then did he notice the neatly made gift. Taking into his hand he looked it over and came to the conlusion that it had to either be Jojo or Mike. And since Jojo was given instructions to share with the others it had to have been Mike. His conclusion was correct. Sitting back down in his room he looked over the quickly, and professionally made thank you card and, for the thousandth time since his arrival, wondered if Mike and the others would forever live their lives like this. In a facility training to be cannon fodder.
He wondered who he had for training tomorrow. Since Derek was fairly new he didn't/couldn't set who he trained. But he could very well control HOW. The facility already gave up on providing text books because they always ended up being used as target practice or firewood.

((Wow...I know...Its amazing... crying I just want to cry its so amazing. Either way... Your first question...We have 2 scientists so far(there's a pm in my inbox I haven't been able to check yet so I don't know exactly what it is) One male(Jason) and one Female(Kora)...I may have to stop accepting soldiers for now until I can get some scientists....
To dragonhealer...O.O wow....glad Ami can't see...
Magiking...wow...that would be so funny ^.^ oh yea I was waiting for Kairi to post because...well Ami can't see so she can't really help.
O.O Really....I don't know...maybe in the near future...Santa hates electricty but he kind of needs it right now...so we'll see mrgreen ))

 Jason Matthew James Jason made his way towards the labs. As he worked his way towards Kora's he could smell smoke. He rolled his eyes and entered the lab. "Were you trying to burn the labs down?" He asked sorta jokingly. He noticed the spill and sighed. "Kora..." It was all he could say. There were no words to say...

Kora sat up and brushed her hair out of her face. "I'm sorry Mr. J." She said ashamed of the mess she had made. She didn't have an excuse, what could she say? If she tried to explain that she was tired it would sound like she was wining, and this was the opportunity of a life time she needed to stay on this project.
The young woman stood and clasped her hands behind her back. "I'll get this cleaned up ASAP, Mr. J." She said and yawned into the elbow of her coat. Her eyes watered and her cheeks were flushed from lack of rest.

Jason Matthew James Jase shook his head. "No you need to go rest. I'll get someone to clean this up." He gently pushed her out of the lab. "Just try and get some sleep." He smiled as he looked back at the mess. His smile fell and he sighed. He pulled out his phone and texted the right people to get someone in there to clean it up.

Kora nodded "Yes sir, thank you." She let him guide her out of the lab and walked or should I say trudged down to her room. But her stomach grumbled and so she made her way to the cafeteria and grabbed a peanut butter sandwich, and a carton of milk. With great care she eat on the way back to her room, The sandwich was surprisingly tasty.

Rico floated down the hall. He could have walked if he wanted to, but it took much concentration. He did when he needed to blend in. Not here though. This was home.
He lifted his hands and popped the knuckles. He felt metal jab right into a nerve spot. They told him not to crack them, but he needed to feel the pain, so that he could remember what he had done to others. Now was not the time to care about that though.
He had free time between now and his next mission. He decided to spend it training on how to walk right.
He lowered to the ground and began walking. It took a great deal of concentration, but it was beginning to get easier. Once he got into it, it was almost second nature to him. He couldn't run though. Never really got that one down.
He continued the practice, walking down the hall.

Getting no response from Mike, Jojo got bored just standing in a unknown room. For all she knew Mike could have lead her to the boys' bathroom and if that was so she DEFINITELY needed to leave asap. Going out the way she came, Jojo relaxed knowing she was in a hallway. She took out her iPod from her pocket only to discover it wasn't working. "What the?" her face was scrunched up in confusion, "Ok I know I charged the battery today, it shouldn't be dead unless..." It suddenly hit Jojo where Mike had lead her earlier, "Dang Agni, I hate it when he does that," Jojo pouted, she really wanted to listen to her iPod. Hearing footsteps, Jojo got curious as to who was coming her way. She listened carefully to the sound of the person's footsteps but couldn't recognized it. "Who's there?" she called out.

Kora finished her sweet peanut butter sandwich with speed, and tipped up her paper cup of juice into her mouth as she turned the corner, then 'BAM'. She collided with someone bigger and much harder than her. Her clipboard went flying and she fell to the floor landing on her butt. “Oh!” Her glasses landed hard on the ground beside her.
The young woman was very clumsy, she had no grace to speak of and what made it worse was her horribly awkward conversational skills. Never had someone so smart and yet so untalented come to this facility, and she really did stick out among the scientists. They were so much cooler and well just better than her.
