Sephiroth had already slipped off into sleep in the few seconds since he last spoke. He was snoring very lightly. All the problems in the galaxy had been causing him many restless nights and, for the first time in a while, he was calm enough to sleep.

Trace rounded a corner, and walked back out onto the streets of Mos Espa. It was a crowded street, and he was able to avoid dirty looks from the IA. He thought he smelled something in the air.

It must be the processing plant. That means the body of the dead Jedi must be nearby...

Trace took a few steps in the direction of the smell, when something else captured his thoughts and held on so tight that it almost hurt him to focus in on what it might be. When he realized what it was, his heart stopped. It wasn't a "what", but a "who" that caught his attention. He felt a very familiar ripple in the Force. Something he hadn't felt in nearly two months.

Brood?

He turned the possibilities over in his head. She must be here looking for the dead Jedi.

He quickly masked his presence. If she knew he was here, he could endanger her mission. He suddenly felt a terrible feeling of foreboding. She was going to need his help. He could feel it.

She grinned sideways at her master, now sound asleep in the co-pilot's seat. She didn't want to wake him just yet, so she got out of the ship for a few moments to pay the bay assistant the credits required to dock, and then got back onto the ship for some last second adjustments to the security protocol of the ship.

Then going to the back of her ship, she went to a small niche and took a small R2 unit off sleep mode. The silver and green unit beeped to life, and turned it's rotary visual sensors on her.

"Yeah buddy.....we're gonna need your help. Dead things aren't easy to sense...."

She led the droid back to the cockpit and then pondered about how to wake her master.

After a moment of staring at her sleeping master, she looked over at R2-JA and grinned wickedly. JA seemed to pick up on her motives, and the unit whistled quietly, but mischieviously, in response.

Opening a vocal link to the outside, she said to the troopers, "Just a moment...have to wake up a lazy crew member!", and then shut off the link. They wouldn't have liked what was coming next, anyways.

"...Ja..activate emergency wakeup protocol.....hehehe...", she said, sticking her fingers in her ears.

Next thing anyone knew was the amazingly loud airhorn noise blasting through the cockpit, right next to Sephiroth's head.

Raising an eyebrow, she stood, keeping her fingers in her ears.

"Yes, Master....." she began, tapping a button on the back of her droid with her foot...

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNKK!!!

".......we are. And we'd better get moving, the Imps are outside to "guard" our ship."

Without missing a beat, she motioned at JA to follow her, and left the cockpit for the hatch of her ship.

"Well...we must be polite, Master....after all, they're only here to protect this ship from the Jedi threat....." she said with a slight mocking lilt to her voice.

As the hatch fully opened, she stepped out to meet the troops.

"Hello to you, sir," she began, giving a polite bow, "I am very thankful that the Empire is doing this for the ships during their time here...I wasn't liking the idea of leaving the ship all alone on this planet...."

Knowing that her ship could be subjugated to an inspection at any time, any and all files, possessions, computer memory, and cargo that would incriminate her and Sephiroth as Jedi were all left in holds on Korriban. Every precaution had to be taken, and had been.

Trace quickly homed in on Brood's presence. He felt an urgency that he couldn't ignore if he wanted too. He was nearly running down the street, toward the landing bays.

I hope I don't arrive too late...

After Jaden had met with one of his many friends and gotten info about the two sith that were in town and a "dead jedi" that the IA was keeping in Mos Espa, he found himself wandering again. As he walked a feeling swelled in his stomach, that felt like he was going to explode. Then it exploded. He saw a Jedi pass him as he paced down the road. He stopped but the Jedi kept walking, he was going towards the hangar.

Thats what that feeling was.

He turned around and spoke to the Jedi.

Hey, I hear there's a bounty on Jedi these days. heh.

Takes a step closer to the Jedi.

Dont bother with force powers, they dont work on me, my mind's too strong. Your name starts with a "V" doesnt it. i have a feeling it does. Vegan or Varilla, perhaps.
