Kir sat up a little bit, and let Lily go. With his eyes still shut, he started rubbing his left shoulder. He didn't like it that it never is comfortable.

Lily's smile faded when she saw him rubbing his shoulder. She remembered when Rick had ripped his wing off. It wasn't a pleasant memory.

Kir wasn't going to venture into opening his eyes, but he did want some kind of help to make the pain go away. He continued rubbing with the hopes that someone would figure out what he wants.

Lily could guess what he wanted, but she wasn't sure what she could do to help him. She put her cold hand against his shoulder, by his wound, and hoped that might help soothe it a little.

"...!" Kir felt another sensation on his back. He lifted his hand from his shoulder and waited to see what this new sensation would do. It worked like an icepack, which was what he needed. He sighed in contentment again.

Lily smiled a little and put her other hand next to it so she could cover more area. She was glad she could help him with this, even if it was too late to fix his wing.

While Lily was helping Kir's wound, Kir decided to try and open his eyes again. He shivered as he did, afraid of what else would happen when he does.

Kir put a hand over his eyes like a sign language for 'I'm trying to open these'. But he was too afraid to, which explained the shivering.
