Nastara smiled at the praise, happy with herself for pleasing everyone else. " Of course I'm liking my sandwich silly! I wouldn't be a very good cook if I didn't like to eat my own creations now would I?" She blushed a little bit at her honest answer. " I dare say I'm a good enough cook that keeping my lady-like figure can be a bit trying at times...." Looking to change the subject she turned to the kits. " Maybe after we're done eating we could all play frisbe or something?"

Asher smiled when she spoke of her cooking, but looked confused at the thought that she'd need help with her figure. He figured that even if she did gain weight she'd still be beautiful, but decided not to mention that. Aria nodded giddily at the mention of frisbee, and Asher nodded in agreement before adding, "I'm not very good at it, though..." Aria giggled while remembering Asher hitting a tree with the frisbee.

Oddly enough Jasper blushed at hearing Aria giggle so much. Nastara noticed but held her tongue. Ducking his head for a moment he brushed the remaining crumbs of his muzzle and stood up. "Frisbe sounds awesome! But its starting to get hot...isn't there a stream around here somewhere?"
Nastara nodded and swallowed before speaking."There is, but I'm not the best swimmer. I'm not so sure its a good idea..."

Asher nodded slowly while putting together his thoughts. "You know, Nastara, I could always help you on getting stronger with swimming? I taught Aria..." Aria grinned and said, "I like water! Sometimes you can see rainbows in it!"

Nastara nodded slowly. " I suppose we could try that. I had a really bad experiance when I was kit, so I'm a bit afraid of deep water. But I think I could try learning with you. But today might not be the best day. If you think you can handle the kits though, I'd be happy to lay on the bank and help keep an eye on them...."
Jasper smiled at Aria. " I agree, I really love the water! I'm not really a good swimmer yet, Luna is trying to teach me, but its soo much fun!"

Asher nodded again. "We'll make sure that when we work on it it's not deep. But how 'bout it, kits? Want to go for a swim? As long as Lady Nastara is truly okay with staying on the bank."
Aria smiled wider and nodded at Jasper. "Luna's nice. I've met her. She's smart and knows LOTS of stuff in books..." She turned towards Asher before saying, "But yeah! I want to go swimming!" She turned back to Jasper. "So you want to go swimming?"

Nastara nodded and managed to not blush TOO much at his using a title. " I'm sure I don't mind at all! You kits are always fun to watch." Turning slightly she gave Asher a shy smile and allowed him to see a bit of the effect his words had on her.
Jasper nodded as Aria spoke about his sister. Feeling gallant he smiled at Aria and offered her a bow, taking a slight cue from Asher as he said " After you mi'lady!"

Asher grinned and winked at her before Aria giggled again and blushed, not even protesting with her usual 'I'm too young to be a lady!' rant. She stood up and took a few steps towards Asher, off the blanket and onto the grass. She waited for others to get up before moving further.
"So where is the stream? I'm not fully familiar with this area, I usually go to a large pond a mile or so away from here." He smiled at an afterthought and inquired, "Is 'large pond' contradicting?"

Jasper sprang up and leaped off the blanket to stand by Aria as they waited for Nastara.
As they'd spoke Nastara had been packing their food back into the basket and covering things to keep the bugs away. " No I think 'large pond' makes sense, even if it is contradicting. The stream is just a short ways that way" she gestured to the trees opposite the play ground. Hurriedly she finished cleaning up and stood. "Shall we?" With that she took the lead and headed off, leading them across the grass and through the trees, leading them down the bank to a clear running stream. There was a beaver dam built a ways down that had caused the water to swell its banks making a nice little swimming hole.

Aria flashed a smile at Jasper as Asher stretched quickly before following Nastara. Asher blinked in surprise at the clarity of the water. "Wow, I can actually see the bottom. It's not too deep," he said as he tested the water with a paw. "Nice and cool, too."
Aria didn't wait for Asher to complete all his thoughts before calling out loudly, "Let's go, Jasper!" and dashing into the water, creating some waves as she swam her way in a bit so that her paws barely skimmed the bottom.

Jasper hesitated for just a moment, just long enough to say "dude!" and look at Aria in surprise before he took off after her. He did a flying leap into the swimming hole yelling " COWWABUNGA". As he hit a good size splash went up, managing to hit Nastara and Asher even on the bank.
"Oh my!" said Nastara as she watched the kits. Despite herself she giggled as the water hit her, and she tilted her face up to enjoy the spray.

Asher grinned at Jasper, finding it amusing that Aria saw it coming and had ducked under the water to avoid the splash. She bat at the water with her paw, causing little splashes to make their way towards Jasper. As Asher turned his head to look at Nastara, he caught his breath as her face was lifted gloriously upwards towards the sky. "She seems more beautiful every moment..." he thought to himself, staring at her wonderingly... and somewhat impolitely.

Jasper surfaced just in time to catch a wave in the face. He sputtered for a moment, shook his face to clear the water, and caught site of Aria and smiled. " Oh? So its a water fight you want huh?" Laughingly he raised a paw and slammed it down on the water, angling the strike towards Aria to send a good sized splash headed her direction.
Nastara sighed, feeling quite happy and raised a paw to wipe the water from her eyes, much like a cat would do. Opening her eyes she looked around, noted the kits playing in the water, then looked to where Asher had been. She found herself looking directly into his startling emerald green eyes as his attention was completely focused on her. She didn't know why but the expression on his face made her blush. For once she didn't look away or duck behind her hair. She just let herself get lost in his eyes, a soft smile spreading unconciously over her face.

Aria giggled and tried splashing back at him, not able to create the same monstrous wave as he did. "How did you do that?" she asked while having her head turned away and splashing at him while trying to put soem distance between them for protection against the coming splashes.
Asher's eyes sparkled more when he saw her smile, and he smiled back at her joyously. He slowly took her paw and kissed it, still holding onto it after and not letting it back down. "Hello, Lady Nastara," he said to her before whispering, "Is it bad if I have an urge to kiss you right now? I won't, because of the kits, but I just wanted you to know..." His thoughts trailed off as he continued to look, without blinking, at the purple illumen.

"Luna taught me how to, you just put alot of force into it, angle the strike where you want the splash to go, and spread your paw out so you hit as much water as you can" While he talked he stopped splashing and just treaded water, waiting to see what Aria would do next.
A momentary expression of surprise chased across Nastara's face, followed quickly by a deeper blush, and another soft smile. Briefly she looked down at the ground, letting her hair slip over her face, before she again met Asher's gaze. "I'm a bit overcome, Asher. I'm quite pleased that you told me..." her voice dropped into an even softer whisper " and you're welcome to claim a kiss later when the kits aren't around." She gave him a bright smile, letting him see just how happy she was, as she gently squeezed his paw.
