Ok let's see we'll try this now.... sweatdrop
I'm sug chan, most just refer to me as sug, suggie/suggy -whatever really. 3nodding I like to draw mainly, I role play very seldom because I don't like to novel role play. When I do I prefer to just keep it simple but literate at the same time. xD;;;
Uhhhhuuum, I can't really think of anything else to say really... Oh I happen to use 'cuz' instead of 'cause', since it's shorter, if you get annoyed with it I'm sorry it's something you have to bare with. sweatdrop And sometimes I use 'dunno' for 'don't know'. xp

I tend to use the longer forms of words unless I'm in IM, in which case Marina will tell you that I fall into the habit of using short forms.
Unless we're in RP. I stick with IC styles then, even if we're rping OOCly. XD
Nice to have you with us, Sug.

I write the same in everything I do, IMs, my own hand writing, text messaging -anything. So that's why I mentioned the 'cuz' and 'dunno' thing. It's just my way of being slightly lazy/cutesy I guess you could say...? xD;
And thanks, hopefully things will go well.

My own hand... Tends to be a lot pickier than how I write here. I'm more of a perfectionist with my writing than anything else I do. So even with text messaging--I spell everything out.
...It's the habit of a writer. My parents did it to me, haha. My dad worked for the Seattle Times, and mom's been a writer for as long as I can remember.

Excuse me but having parents as writers would not make you 'picky' and it is night a writers habit. Using bigger words for your writing doesn't necessarily make it better. If you rely on that and your parents too much then your writing will suffer for it.

Let me rephrase that. Having writers as parents taught me to love the written language, and use it to my advantage in writing. I can use shorter words when I want. When a character is speaking, it's all good and proper. When it's a children's story, I tend to use the local lingo.
It is the sign of a writer that one gets headaches from people who use chatspeak and internet jargon. It's because you've spoken and written the language you're writing in for so long, that... well.
It hurts.
