Poseidon glared at the first mate. "Quite rude...." He muttered before looking at the Captain, "We were hoping to speak to you about perhaps getting a ride on your fine vessel. We have no real destination in mind besides going out and seeing the world. So where ever you are heading would be fine with us." He paused for a moment letting that sink in. "Of course we can always have you work something out with our owners if there is no work we can do on the ship as a payment."

The captain looked at Mizuko and nodded. "Aye... came from the sea did ye...." He said giving the first mate a glance to dismiss him, "So ye want to ride me ship, do ye? Well I think we can work something out so ye can get to where we're goin'. T'would be good luck to have one who came from the sea herself."

Poseidon looked at Mizuko with his tail wagging. He was quite hopeful about getting a ride off of this ship. "We'd greatly appreciate you allowing us to come with you." He said to the captain. When the captain waved them onto the ship he stepped on glancing around.

"Aye dun know how good help ye be but least we'd have ye." The captain said waving them on, "Come now. Lets retire to me cabin and speak about your conditions of travelin' on me ship." He led the way to the door leading below deck and to the captain's quarters.

Poseidon followed the Captain and Mizuko to the Captain's quarters. "Yes what kind of conditions?" He said sitting down once he was in the room.

The Captain chuckled as he sat down on a small chair. "Well I'm not goin' to let ye get a free ride on me ship. You'll have to work for your stay. I'll get my matie to find you a play to sleep." He said looking at the moonlits, "I figure ye can help keep the mice away or if weather gets bad help keep water out of me ship. Could also make you swab the deck. In return for ye help, you get to sleep and eat on me ship but you also get the ride you want."

Poseidon nodded. "Sounds good to me." He said looking from Mizuko to the Captain, "Thank you Captain.... Uh....."

"Then we have us a deal." The Captain said, "It's Captain Kersey but you may address me as simply Captain. Most of me crew calls me that." He stood up from his little chair and walked to the door. "Vann! Get down here now!" He shouted out the door.

After a couple of minutes footsteps could be heard heading towards the Captain's quarters. The man from before, the First Mate, popped his head into the room. "Yes Captain?"

"Take these two and show them where they be sleeping while on our Yacht."

Poseidon followed Mizuki and the first mate to the small room they'd be staying in. It was too small for a human to stay in but it was fine for a couple of moonlits. "Thanks." He said before the first mate left. He turned to Mizuki and grinned. "There. Now we have a ride to get us started... and it wasn't that hard."

Poseidon nodded while moving to sit along one of the walls. He looked around the small room and shrugged. "It's not bad. Probably the best we could get with the short notice and way we went about this."

Poseidon looked at Mizuko and shook his head. "We should wait here until we set off. We shouldn't get in their way as they try to get ready to leave." He said, "We won't be cooped up in here for long though."

Poseidon nodded. "It shouldn't take too long. It looked like they were mostly done when we came aboard." He said.

About a half and hour later, the yacht began to move, the movement being felt throughout the ship. "See? Wasn't too long." He said as they left the harbor. He moved to the door but didn't open it. He placed his ear against it to listen outside. If it didn't sound hectic out there he'd go out with Mizuko.
